I have a player in a game that created an awakened Pomeranian wizard using the dungeons and doggies supplement. I know that rules say that creatures cannot end a turn in a space occupied by another creature but the idea that her 1.5' tall dog could effectively stand between other legs quickly entered everyone's mind at the table.
I decided to create some homebrew mechanics to help this work out and hope for some tips, feedback, or other ideas. Obviously, these rules would only apply as her character is so small and might not work well for the humanoid small characters.
-moving throw a hostile space takes twice the movement.
-ending a turn effectively between someone's legs would cause any dexterity check made by either party to be made at disadvantage.
-other rules would be create at situations arose add well

Seems fine to me. Do have a more specific question?
