Greydon, Morticia, and Corinne are all able to successfully climb up the stairs like the skeletons in the picture and as they do, they feel their health increase as they gain the benefits of Aid. Veska does not gain these benefits. You also enter Area C7.

A narrow balcony surrounds the grand staircase and the fountain below. Stairs descend from the east and west and two hallways lead south. The center of the south wall contains a small stage, raised two feet above the ground. The backdrop of the stage is a grimy city street, with a red-and-white striped pole. The stage contains a doll-sized reclining chair. A doll lies in the chair, its bloody mouth open wide. A second doll stands over the first, clad in a blood-spattered white smock like a barber-dentist, triumphantly holding aloft an extracted tooth.
The surgeon doll calls out to you all as the other doll rises from the chair, hand over its mouth. "Next patient please!"

Veska blinks at the sight, though she doesn't appear particularly horrified, per se. She shrugs. "I don't believe I currently require any dental work, but is there a patient already in a waiting room we can escort in?" she asks politely.
Morticia tried not to let her disturbed expression show, but it's hard not to after the sight they see now. Grey hues snap onto the doll surgeon when it answers Veska's question with a shake of the head. "Er... Um... I'm fine, thank you... But would you happen to know where we could find the, uh... way station master? We need them to stamp us for us to go home..."

Corinne’s face contorts slightly at the scene, just for a moment, before resuming a placid, blasé expression of ‘this is normal’. “Thank you, doctor, for the directions. We should be on our way then.” She curtsies formally before grabbing the arm of Veska, and pulling softly towards C10.

Greydon’s brows would raise with genuine unexpected surprise from the scene. Following the ladies questions and Corinne’s courtsie, they’d give the surgeon a respectful bow of their head prior to cautiously meandering along towards C10. They’d keep their head on a swivel to watch for any potential traps, threats or danger.
Veska blinks as she's pulled towards the door, but follows Corinne without resistance, waving to the dolls. "Thank you for the directions, and good luck with your patients," she calls over her shoulder politely.
Greydon finds an Adamantine Warhammer on the rack. They also find a number of tripwires across the room that when tripped, would trigger a trap that launches the weapons on the rack.

"Oh my. Tantalizing and precarious..." Smiling eyes would bounce from their companions to the Warhammer, tripwires and back. Greydon would hold up their hand to alert the group to come to a halt. "We've got ourselves a bit of a booby trap." The paladin would point out the Adamantine Warhammer then the tripwires. "May I assist the more dexterous to disarm our threat?" They'd walk along with the chosen nimble hands to help with the trap.

Morticia's gaze falls upon Greydon when they were abruptly stopped from approaching the warhammer, her head tilting to the side as if to question why they halted their approach. When they point out the traps, the rogue squints her eyes to get a better look at the area surrounding the rack. "Oh my... Well that would have been bad..." She grimaces as she thinks on ideas of what tripping the wires might have done. "Good eyes, Greydon... Um... Yes, I'd appreciate the help. Let's try... here..."

This long room atop the gatehouse has several narrow arrow slits to the north and south. Each is 2 feet high and only a few inches wide. The room is bare except for a ladder descending from an alcove at the room’s eastern end. A low door stands in the center of the north wall, with a small, square window at the typical eye level for a human. The window is inset with a small metal grill, which has been stuffed with humanoid teeth. Dozing in this room is a stout, hunched predator has a ruff of dirty feathers and a crocodilian skull for a head. It does not notice you.
