Having sensed no dishonesty, Morticia seems to calm down and nods in understanding to Barzahks answers. If anything, she was more than ready to return to the Material Plane... or whatever was left of it...
When the acrid smell of rotting flesh assaults her sense of smell, Morticia immediately winces and covers her nose with her green scarf. She might have known the scent all too well, but that didn't mean she found it pleasant. She passes a worrisome glance over the group before settling her gaze on Shi, nodding with the idea of uncovering what happened to Roslar's Coffer before walking behind them.

As all of you exit the livery, you see the following that what remains of Roslar’s Coffer lies before you, with familiar buildings lying in ruins and plants growing wild, as if hundreds of years have passed. Shapes flit by the windows of many homes, and a white glow emanates from the direction of the cemetery on the southeast edge of town. Stranger than all that, however, is the yellowish-green cloud that surrounds the entirety of Roslar’s Coffer, arching into the sky and making the sunlight feeble and dim. The withered corpses of several birds and rabbits are visible on the ground just within this greenish fog.
Morticia notices that two blocks away, there is a humanoid figure standing on the roof of a building that isn't completely ruined. With Briana's assistance, she is able to see that this humanoid figure is a male half-orc in leather armor. He very quickly slips out of sight, but it only takes Morticia a second before spotting him again, this time running for the tree line north of town.

Morticia can't help but frown behind her scarf at the sight of the decomposing animal corpses, however she is quickly drawn over to the figure in the distance when Briana points it out to her. Her eyes widen in surprise. "Did you see that?"She asks the others, pointing in the direction the half-orc had ran. "T-there's someone here!"Without missing a beat, she begins to run towards the tree line.

Shi gently takes Mallet's arm and pulls her along after Morticia, making sure the cleric can keep up. Briana's orb swirls in a circle around the pair, appearing slightly agitated.
Corinne stares out at the wreckage, trying to take in every detail. She felt different, changed by their experience in the Boneyard. The vampire closes her eyes and takes a deep breath in, refusing to choke on the awful fumes wafting on the breeze, before releasing a sigh. "Well, I'm glad we've made it back to the land of the living, even if not much lives here currently."
At Morticia's call and run, the powerful woman moves forward to stay beside her, placing a calming hand on Shi's shoulder as she passes, giving a nod to both her and Mallet, in acknowledgement of Mallet's feelings.
As you pursue the half-orc, you run into the nearby forest. In stark contrast to the ruin and decay of the town, this clearing teems with strange life. Gray, bulbous fruit hangs from the trees, and brightly colored flowers bloom on the forest floor, giving off a sickly sweet odor. A rotted log lies in front of a narrow opening in the foliage to the north. The plants here all wave slightly, as if in a breeze, but the air is completely still.
I will need a Perception check from the party.

Stepping through and opening their eyes, G remained silent as they scanned the scene before them. Being his with waves of emotions, their visage would flicker once, then twice, three... as they worked on processing each detail rushing through the mind.
Having to force themself to take deep breaths, the changeling would eventually readjust their posture. Time. Change. Balance. There's a cycle to life and death, and it was evident they found themselves weaving along different stages of its path.
G would call upon their faith to sense the divine as Morticia rushes off. They'd follow after all the others.
Divine Sense
As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover.
As you pursue the half-orc into the forest, Morticia is able to notice that something is off with the vegetation on the ground. It takes a moment, but she is able to recognize that the vegetation is actually serving to conceal a pit trap! Morticia is able to notice it in time and stop herself before she runs in, but the rest of her party is not so lucky, as they fall through the false vegetation.
Each of them takes 10 bludgeoning and 4 piercing damage as they fall 20 feet into a spiked pit.
Before Morticia can do anything to help her friends, she spots that same half-orc 30 feet away from her, bow readied and pointed at her.
"Don't take another step! Identify yourself!"

After pulling themselves free of the spikes, G would reach behind them. "Take Shi first." They suggest as they'd offer Corinne one end of a rope. "I can try and take Mallet as you make the first trip." The Paladin would offer Mallet a hand off the spikes. "Should I fail, you could pull her up next." They'd give the cleric a moment to collect themselves. "May I?" They'd ask Mallet for consent to tie the other end of the rope they gave Corinne around her waist. After ensuring it was safe and snug, G would give Corinne a nod of confirmation.
"Shall we?" G would look to Mallet then turn around and bend at the knees so she could get on their back for the climb attempt. With Shi's encouraging nature, her guiding blue orbs, and Mallets faith, G had confidence they could succeed in one attempt. They needed to be smart and efficient to catch up to Morticia to ensure her safety.

Corinne nods to G, "Sounds good", she will then offer a slender, pale hand to Shi, with consent sweeping the spooky bard up in a bridal carry as effortlessly as if she were picking up a soft quilt. "Let's ensure this new friend is treating Morticia with respect..." the vampire will purr to Shi with a smirk, before just straight up walking up the wall of the pit, quickly.
At the top of the pit with Shi still in her arms, Corinne will survey the scene before setting her eyes on the threatening archer, turning to pools of black momentarily she will speak in a cold tone, dripping with lethally protective intent, "Pardon me, but would you please lower your weapon from my companion?" Morticia’s eyes widen in fear when she sees her friends fall into the trap, mentally berating herself for not warning them sooner. However, before she could act, she’s threatened with a bow and arrow to the face.
“I-I’m Morticia! We don’t mean any harm!” She answers with hands raised in surrender, only to shuffle back when Corrine climbs out of the pit. “Y-yeah, I don’t do well under pressure…”
