Shi's eyes pop open. "Oh...not time yet, I suppose," she says as she rolls to her feet and rears back a bit at the cobra right in her face. "Time for something a little...darker," she murmurs, eyes going pure white again as she opens her mouth and lets out a single, terrified scream, the magic slamming into the snake and suggesting that even the undead creature should be afraid.

Morticia breathes a sigh of relief seeing Shi get up and move to fight again, but she does wince and cover her ears at the scream. The way she casts spells is... worrisome...
If the Bone Cobra doesn't die by the scream, she will move in to attack with her rapier again!

Shi calmly brushes tomb dirt off of herself and nods calmly to Morticia. "Thank you." The young woman doesn't seem too startled or shaken by her brush with death. "I wonder where it came from," she says thoughtfully, looking behind the throne. "Magically, that is. Obviously it was hiding back here."

Seeing the cobra fall gets Morticia to sigh in relief. She felt much more useful this time around, and it looked like she needed to have a stern talking to with her bow about its performance. For now, it looked like she would be using her rapier for now, even though she didn't like getting up close and personal in fights.
The half-aasimar perks up at Shi's thank you, a sheepish smile forming on her face. "I-it was no problem..."She replies as she puts away her rapier, half tempted to ask her why her spells are casted the way they were. Different tones and voices, ominous sayings... it was strange to her. Though, before she could muster that courage to question the changeling, the other had moved to investigate behind the throne.
N-next time... She moves to investigate the snake to see if it had anything useful on it at all, or maybe if the stench was definitely coming from it.

Greyce was occupied with their own shouting and thrashing to have really given Shi's screams too much thought. It appeared to be effective. That's what mattered. Morticia was swift with her follow up as well. "What a shit show..." Greyce grumbled under their breath about their own performance (at least they got out of the restraint). They were impressed by Shi and Morticia's last actions and would look up to the pair with a smirk, giving them a respectful glance over.
"I'm a dumbass." Greyce would deadpan. They'd snap their fingers. The raven haired woman would then turn white with a divine glow. "Right. This is why I never ******* do this..." They'd roll their eyes at their bright angelic light, striding off to begin poking around the room with Morticia. Divine Greyce would speak up if there was anything worth noting, otherwise, was ready to press forward to the next room to sweep with their senses.

Corinne takes a big sigh of relief, “Wow, that was unexpected, what was an undead cobra even doing here with the coffin of Roslar?” She slinks over and gives a nod to Shi and Morticia, “very good work there, much more accurate shot from earlier, I can see I’m in good hands with this crew.”

Shi blinks at Corinne's compliment, looking briefly confused before she nods and smiles faintly. She flicks a hand, and her four icy blue lights reappear, orbiting her slowly.
A small alcove on the east wall of this hallway contains stone shelves with some boxes and bags. On the floor are several shiny plates of insectile exoskeleton that glimmer with a faint red glow. There is nothing of interest in here.
Area A9
This wide room has a hallway leading out of the north wall and a set of stairs leading up to the east. An elaborately lifelike image carved into the south wall depicts a mustachioed knight kneeling before a slender woman with feathery wings. The woman holds a rapier above her head with one hand while the other is extended to the knight, who is kissing it. Lettering above the image reads, “Faithfulness Always to the Red Crusader.”
Area A10
This room contains a row of four marble busts with a strong family resemblance. Each bust rests atop a narrow stone pillar. The bust farthest to the north—of a proud man with a wide mustache—wears an elegant wig of actual hair. An archway opens into another room to the north, while a set of stairs descends to the west. These busts depict Roslar and his immediate family: his sister, mother, and father. Small plaques beneath them read, from west to east, “Fallist Roslar, Father,” “Emmillisa Roslar, Mother,” “Annilisa Roslar, Sister,” and “Ervin Roslar, Hero.”
Area A11
This cavernous chamber has two doors to the north and two to the south. The west end of the room contains an altar with a symbol of a winged rapier burning with bright light. Several tiles on the floor in front of the altar bear large symbols. The east end of the room contains a large crack, defacing a mural of armored figures staring resolutely forward, with beams radiating behind them. Several corpses of small, bug-eyed blue creatures slump in three piles throughout this room.
The square in front of the altar consists of nine 2-foot-square stones arranged in a 3 by 3 grid. The words “Follow Along Roslar’s Devotion” are carved around the grid. The nine symbols are arranged as follows. Row 1 is the northernmost row; the tiles in each row are listed from east (closest to the mural) to west (closest to the altar). Row 1: A mailed fist, a tree, and a tower. Row 2: A heart, a rapier, and a skull. Row 3: A horse’s head, a round helm, and a pair of feathery wings.

As the group delves further into this tomb, Corinne begins to acclimatize to their strange situation, nodding to herself, 'Shi and Janna appear to wield magic, although it appears to be opposite ends of the spectrum, one creepy with a connection to the souls of the dead and one holy, throwing sacred fire. Morticia appears to be finding weak spots in these creatures, making her attacks deadly when they hit. Greyce appears to be tough as nails, with some holy powers that they....disdain? Keep an eye out for them, they're unpredictable.'
In A8, she smiles at the beautiful color of the insectile plates.
In A9 she speaks softly, "Red Crusader...What made her so special to Roslar?"
A10, Corinne will examine the Busts, "Very well made, tasteful."
A11, Corinne will stop in front of the Altar and the 3 x 3 square floor grid, examining the symbols, "I wonder what this could be about...Any ideas, my friends?" At this she will turn her eyes to each of the crew, her silvery glowing irises inviting each person to get closer, to help her, like a siren song. She turns back to each tile, recognizing the imagery of the Rapier from many of the rooms they've been in, as well as the wings and Horse.
Shi collects a piece of insect plate that goes into her bag for later, then follows the group. She looks at the stones in front of the altar. "It's a puzzle." She blinks slowly. "We need to know his story to solve it. And probably press or step on the right stones."
Morticia was both grossed out and oddly fascinated with the Bone Cobra's corpse as she watches Greyce poke at it with the tip of their scythe. Her eyes would remove themselves from the sight when Corrine gives her compliments, the rogue giving her a sheepish smile. "Thanks..."
Seeing as this place was riddled with enemies, as they pushed on, Morticia would keep her eyes out for any movement, ready to attack had something jumped out at them again. Once they arrive at A11, she stops being so on edge and takes a look around the place, ears perking up when Shi voices that it is a puzzle of some kind. The half-aasimar takes a moment to think...
