"Well Syl, you said you were experienced with scalie beings, so I'll just wish you good luck."
Feliara said quite surprised seeing how everything turned out. They had the scale and they were probably safe. She sighed in relief and looked at Kasha, who surely hadn't been polite during that, sorry for the next word, meeting. She softly grabbed the back of her neck so she wouldn't escape, even though she knew it was useless, and pulled the half elf towards herself.
"And you, my dear Kasha. You better watch your mouth or else I'll have to bathe you. Here's the deal, either your vocabulary is clean or your body."
She turned again to Syl and smiled, trying not to end up like the angry mother of the group. She let go of Kasha before patting her head as she spoke to the other elf.
"There's no point on lying to a friend, my dear Syl. So let me tell you that tonight I'll grab something to drink from your reserve, maybe even take someone on a date!"
After that phrase, a devilish smile appeared on her face, showing that she was about to throw a joke at him. At this point, she wondered if Syl would be inmune to her Vicious Mockery.
"Be careful to not burn down the tavern if you bring her over"

"And you, my dear Kasha. You better watch your mouth or else I'll have to bathe you. Here's the deal, either your vocabulary is clean or your body." "I think that's fair!" she squeaked, her voice cracking.
It took all Bruvir had to hold his tongue when the Dragon proposed 10% of their spoils in return for its help. Even more so when the monk agreed to it without question. Annoyed as he was at the lost gold, he had to admit that Syl was able to "woo" the dragon into sharing the scale without a fight. So on this one occasion (and one occasion only), Bruvir would let this mistake pass without comment. If he or anyone else offered more of the gold to random strangers or creatures though, he would not let that pass the next time around; that was for sure.
"Be careful to not burn down the tavern if you bring her over"
Syl grins as he wiggles his eyebrows. "I'm sure the only one getting burned in this whole thing will probably be me. If at all. Don't worry." He slowly begins trailing back up the sandy bank and throws a wink towards the gathered dockhands milling around and watching - probably with jaws agape. Sylivar was certain the sea-hardened sailors didn't see something of that caliber every day.
"Ten percent might've been a little much. Depending on how things go tonight...I'll see if I can lower it,"Syl jests. There was enough in half a million dragons to go around. Besides, to Syl - interesting experiences were worth much more than any amount of gold. He shrugs and gives his usual, sheepish grin as he rubs his palms together.. "I guess the next step is to find a few dwarves crazy - or drunk - enough to perform, aye? I know a few bars where dwarves frequent. They always have good ale."
"Maybe you can negotiate with her when you're touching her nope square?"Kasha suggested innocently. "Time to find some dwarves!"
"Aye let's be on to it then! My... Er, our gold is waiting for us!!" Bruvir exclaimed in agreement. Turning to Syl and Feli, "You two probably know the best bars for music so lead the way."
Syl continues grinning. As usual. He looks down at his sand-covered robes - tsk. He would need to buy a new pair of emerald green ones to compliment his eyes. “That’s the plan, Kasha. Don’t you worry. Now - to a bar.” Syl begins sauntering off in the vague direction of whichever bar possibly contains dwarvish singers for hire.
Kasha raised her arm and pointed to the sky, like she was a superhero of some kind. Well. Maybe in a previous life she was, but no longer. "To a bar!!"she declared, loudly.
She pulled the other girl close as she looked at the door of that establishment. It didn't look like a nice place, not one for a woman like her. Maybe she was a bard, but she liked to perform in places where she didn't had to worry about why the floor was sticky. After a short sigh, she looked at her other companions wondering how'd they react to that... Topic.

She responded, laughing softly, as she tousled her hair. "Better safe than sorry" she thought before checking her rapier and her purse, which she should have emptied back at the manor.

Bruvir still a bit annoyed at agreeing to give up some of their future treasure to a bloody dragon! walked straight to the bar and ordered the biggest drink possible.
Ah, yes. This place. Sylivar lifts a brow as he walks, taking amusement in the reactions of his companions. ”Cover her eyes, Fel,” he grins, motioning towards Kasha. “As for your the safety things? Take this advice from an expert. Why do you think I trained as a Monk, Feliara? I could care less if anyone tries to steal from me. I need nothing. It’s helpful if you frequent areas like these.”
That said, the dragon had requested Sylivar meet in a tavern sometime soon. As such - to everyone’s surprise - Sylivar remains sober as he constantly checks the time, ensuring he wouldn’t be late to his ‘negotiations’. He walks up to whatever bartender is serving drinks and in his usual, elbow-on-the-table, charming way, asks; “Do those dwarves come by often? I’m currently helping to open a bar myself and I’m looking for some good performers to help round out the atmosphere.”
”Cover her eyes, Fel,” he grins, motioning towards Kasha. "What the heckery? I'm twenty six!"Kasha said, swatting anyone's hand that attempted to cover her eyes.
Around 8pm, Zeli arrived, mostly covered up in an elegant fur coat that hid most of her nearly perfect physical proportions. She recognized us instantly, and her happiness turned into something more professional as she approached.
"Ah. Excellent. For a moment, I was concerned that you would not show up."she admitted, as she approached. Many of the tavern's patrons were watching us.
Syl gives Kasha a good-natured laugh. Sylivar's attention rapidly shifts from the barkeep after he rolls a few coins towards the man. He twists around and casually rests an elbow on the counter, flashing a grin towards Zelifarna. Syl is an insightful person - despite Zelifarna's composed demeanor, he could certainly sense her happiness to see the party. Apparently gold is a fantastic way to get on the good side of dragons. Before the procession, Syl made the quick dash back to Trollskull ally to change into his usual, Monk-like, flowing emerald robes. It's strange to see the Monk dressed decently. "Worry not, Zelifarna," Syl states, having clearly practiced her name. "I don't know a person who wouldn't take the opportunity to see you again." He lifts a brow. "Are you a fan of dwarven music? I can't say I am - I tend to find their ale is better - but, coincidentally, this bar happens to be offering a performance we need." Leaning forward slightly to prevent any super-secret vault keys from being overheard by prying ears, Syl whispers- "Remember that aboleth? Apparently another 'key' to the vault is a dwarven song. Can you believe that? Aboleths are strange."
Bruvir spat out his drink as the horrendous music began to play. Turning towards the stage and seeing the Dwarf trio as the culprit, Bruvir placed a hand to his head and mumbled, "Stronmaus help us that's hideous." Turning towards Kasha & Feli (with Syl busy on a date) he asked, "Please tell me these aren't the only dwarf performers around. I don't think I can listen to this trash for one more second, never mind a second time to open the bloody vault!!"
"I don't know." He leans closer, a charming smirk spread over his jovial expression. "I'm hoping it's the former - none of us can play bagpipes for life, meaning we'd need to hire a performer. And, quite frankly, I get a kick out of seeing our miniature friend's reactions to such things," he comments, angling his head towards Bruvir.
Still, though, even Sylivar eventually winces at the sound. He rummages around for a few coins - dwarves were like dragons; they love coins - and prepares to purchase the sheet music or even hire the trio upon the completion. The things he'd do for money.

The Whore's Nipple, down the street about a mile away, is featuring dwarven singers in the evening around 10pm. Hell yeah. How convenient!
"Oh great... Kasha, don't get separated from me"

"Indeed they are, my handsome friend." Zeli confirms. "I wonder, is it the song itself that is the key, or the sheet music?"
It is around that time that the dwarven trio walks on stage, much to the delight of the crowd in the tavern, and they begin playing.
It's horribly atrocious.
Kasha is visibly resisting the urge to howl in disgust like a wolf.
