Siobhan smiles and moves towards Dreali with open arms. If he does not resist, she embraces him in a lingering hug, enjoying this entire interaction with someone of her own size, her own species, who understands her in ways that even the other druids she has met since being taken from her home could not. "Thank you, Dreali, for your guidance. I will take your advice to heart." She lets go, bows, and sets off to find the herbalist on Copper Street. The noise and the chaos is still intense and she feels the urge to slip into another, safer shape but resists it. The city is is made of life and so is she; her branches can bend and adapt to its flow.
“Preferably fresh, or as fresh as possible, and no preference for color. Any will do.”

Siobhan
The other firbolg meets Siobhan’s embrace with a long, comforting hug of his own, and then bids her farewell, enduring peace and good tidings on her adventures, both in and away from the city.
Walking through the neighborhoods and villas of the North Ward, she’s able to find Dailantha's Herbs & Exotic Plants. Upon entering, she sees that this place is indeed a fine herbal shop, complete with a small stream of water that runs through it.
"Noted. I thank you for your time, and should I be able to make the payment, I will return."
Belkas heads back to the Blue Ewe. He considers if the shopkeeper was telling him the truth or laying a trap to catch the unscrupulous for the City Watch. In any case, he will need to talk this over with Zyllith.
--
Insight check: 22 (20+1) (natural 20!) to see if Belkas can tell if the shopkeeper really wants the eyes or is trying to catch nerdowellers.
As far you can tell, judging lately by the rather eclectic collection of odd items in his shop, the merchant gives you no apparent reason to doubt the legitimacy of his request. At any rate, Belkas leaves the shop and returns to the Blue Ewe, once again, finding Zyllith in the common room with Arisa, Shelvus, Elion and the new trio of adventures with whom they're sharing beers and stories
Belkas walks into Blue Ewe, takes off his impressively feathered hat, gestures to the barkeep for a beer, and sits down with a big tired sigh at the table beside Zyillith.
He asks, "How did everyone's day go? Is Siobhan not back yet?" Then he sits back to enjoy the banter of friends and the musky flavor of the warm ale.
Later, when other conversations are going on around them, he says quietly to Zyillith, "When there's a chance to talk alone, I have something I need to ask your advice on."
Zyllith waves as Belkas joins them once more, urging him to drink a mug of Ale with them. In response to his questions she cheerfully answers, "'Aven't seen tha' tall lass yet. Should be fine, I think. But might as head out ta' look fer her if we don' see her in tha' morn'." When asked for advice she gives a friendly nudge with her shoulder as she replies, "Sure thin', mate. Lay it on me."
Responding to Ovina's comment about his being cute, Vernon says, "I'm sure most of them aren't as small as I am either. You mentioned the Rabbit Stew was good here, shall we verify that property still holds?" He will then try to continue the conversation on cheese making and cheese usage. (He's oblivious to the flirtation that Ovina has been mixing in.)
On stepping in Dailantha's Herbs & Exotic Plants, she ducks slightly to enter the shop. Siobhan takes a deep breath to scent the air for the dried herbs and growing things she sees around the shop. "Hello?" she calls out, looking for Dailantha, presumably. "I am seeking supplies for healing and other needs."
Ovina seems to be enjoying her date with Vernon and she keeps up with her outward displays of affection, even though Vernon doesn't seem to pick up on her less than subtle signs. Whether he's just tired, hungry, thinking about other things, or really is that unaffected by her slightly intimate exhibits of warmth and endearment, Ovina doesn't let it deter her much, and at one point, she switches places and squeezes next to him on the same side of the bench, causally throwing her arm around him on occasion.
The rabbit stew is indeed very tasty, as is the beer, and the conversation continues, with Ovina detailing her days as a young dwarf lass who spent time with her cheese-making granddad She'd often hang around the kitchen, and although cooking wasn't really her thing, she did enjoy watching him work, and tasting his end products.
At one point, she steers the conversation back to him.
"Tell me, Vernon, what's the most scared you've ever been and what do you aspire to become as an adventurer"

Siobhan
The shopkeeper, Dailanthna, meets Siobhan with a pleasant smile. She's an older half-elf woman with long flowing gray hair and graceful demeanor. "Greetings, friend! You have come to the right place. What is it hat you seek?"
The place is warm and humid and full of he smells of flowers and other plants. There is greenery everywhere, and lots of butterflies that flitter around from bloom to bloom.
Siobhan smiles at Dailanthna and bows slightly. "Well met! I am looking for the supplies to brew potions of healing and antitoxin when I've time to spend on such work. And perhaps a few potions already brewed, if there are any in stock."
"My dear, I absolutely can be of help to you! I do have vials of antitoxin already mixed up that I can sell you for 50 dragons, and I also have the necessary supplies you would need for healing potions and antitoxin. At the moment, I only have 2 healing potions mixed up, and those are also 50 dragons each."
"For mixing up your own antitoxin, I have oldenlandia leaves, which is what I like to use, and I have a variety of healing herbs, including chamomile, echinacea, feverfew and ginseng."
It would cost you 25 gp in supplies to mix up one vial of antitoxin, and she has as much as you need. For healing potions, the cost for supplies would be 25 gp for each regular healing potion and 100 gp for greater healing. Time required for each would be 1 day for healing and one week for greater healing, and would require a DC13 Medicine check. No check for regular healing.
"Are you new here in Waterdeep? I have not seen you in here before."
Siobhan considers the contents of her purse and what she wishes to accomplish. “I am new to Waterdeep; my companions have come here on their business and I with them. We ran into unnatural creatures on the road and I wish to be better supplied for the future.” Siobhan hefts her purse and nods firmly. “The ingredients for one greater healing and two standard, as well as for brewing two anti-toxin.” As she counts out two hundred in gold and platinum, she druid crafts a flower to encourage a butterfly to come her way.
Dailanthna completes your exchange of coin for a bundle of herbs and hands you your purchase, which is carefully wrapped up in a piece of silk cloth and tied with a colorful ribbon.
"Welcome to the City of Splendors then, friend! Yes, there are many dangers and unnatural creatures outside the walls of the city, which is why I prefer to stay in my own garden here in the safety of my shop. I think that I would be too terrified to spend any amount of time away from the city."
"As I said, I have not seen you before, but I have seen some of your kind. One that I know of visits me occasionally, an older forest giant named Dreali."
Siobhan smiles. "It was Dreali who pointed me towards your shop. I was very lost when I found him; he is a wise one indeed." She accepts the package of supplies and leaves the flower she crafted, a golden zinnia bloom. "I am pleased I can add another to the friends I am making in this city, Dailanthna. May we meet again."
Siobhan bows politely and exits the shop, holding the beautifully wrapped bundle close. Part of her is tempted to stay within this oasis of nature, or to try to find the park Dreali had mentioned to her. But it has been some time and she is sure her companions are missing her. And of course, to see if she might have time to craft one potion of healing before nightfall.
When they have a chance to talk without being overheard, Belkas says to Zyllith, "I have a small problem. I need a rare gem with tears inside to cast a spell. Unfortunately, the shopkeeper who has one is asking for two sets of human eyes in payment. Now I don't have any intention of murdering people to get them, but it occurred to me that there are other options. Earlier this morning, I was attacked by muggers near the docks and accidentally killed two of them while escaping. That could very well happen again if we were walking in the wrong side of town, and I wouldn't feel too bad about collecting eyes in those circumstances. Another idea that occurred to me is that there must be a morgue and funeral parlor somewhere around here, and perhaps a bribe would buy some eyes that are no longer needed."
Belkas looks at Zyllith and says, "Any thoughts on the matter? I wanted to talk to you first since I'm unsure how the others would respond, and I fear they may not take it well."
"Oh, ye magey types are always rioght weird 'bout yer spell bits, ain'cha?" Zyllith replied, the quirky smile on her face showing that she doesn't seem repulsed by the notion, only amused. "Well cannae deny yer spells are well bloody useful in tha' right moment, so if'n this new shiny spell o' yers is tha' good then would be smart ta' help ye'. Alas, don' know shite 'bout morgues and only funerals I know involve those far out at sea. But when it comes to tha' wrong side o' town, I'm jus' 'bout tha' expert 'ere, yea? If'n were up ta' me, findin' tha' right hoodlem down tha' wrong alley would be tha' easiest, though messiest, way ta' go 'bout it. I can be sure ta' help ye' with tha' right scenario if ye' like." She turned to face Belkas directly then as she added, "But don' mistake this as anythin' less than murder. Even if it's fer tha' best, even if it's removing terrible people, it's still going out with mind ta' kill a bloke fer yer benefit. Aye, perhaps no' somethin' ta feel guilty over, but neither should ye ever pretend it's no' actually wrong."
"You're right. It would be murder. And whatever I have done to get where I am today, that is not who I want to be. I was letting my desire for more power blind me. If we should happen to come across bodies or be forced to defend ourselves, then I will collect the eyes, but I won't go out searching for a fight."
Belkas looks up from fiddling with his hat and says, "Thank you, Zyllith, both for telling me the truth and still offering to go with me if I chose to venture into dark alleyways. I really do appreciate it and feel better now that I have chosen."
"Come, let us rejoin the others. Elion must be building up for another epic poem by now and we wouldn't want to miss it."
"Aye, no worries mate. Always happy ta' help." Zyllith flashed Belkas a grin as she gave him a friendly slap on the shoulder. She quickly moves to rejoin the other's in the evenings revelry and general entertainment.
Some time later, when an appropriate moment would arrive, she'd turn to Eileen and ask, "Ye still gotta mind ta' perform a grand storytellin' with me an' mine tonight?"
Finally, just when afternoon is turning into evening, Siobhan makes her way back to the Blue Ewe, and sees Zyllith, Belkas and Arisa in the common room, enjoying drinks and food with a few other patrons, who also have the look of adventurers.
Eileen answers Zyllith and says, "Yes, indeed! We should wait for a little later in the evening, when we can make the most impact on the crowd. In the meaning, would you care to find somewhere quiet and rehearse a bit, or shall we just wing it when the time comes and we find ourselves up on the stage with all eyes upon us?"
As of this point, Vernon still has not returned from his errands in the city.
Siobhan smiles and moves towards Dreali with open arms.
