"One hiding, one cowering, one dying and one fighting. Not exactly fair is it? hmmm, we'll have to do something about that." And immediately a blue light ripples from the center. The raptor falls to pieces, Vedan is suddenly visible, and the wall of force has gone down.

Sort of takes away strategy from the game, doesn't it? Not like everyone didn't know, or could find out, where Vaden was, as he was invisible, not hidden. The wall of force was as much a cage as a protection,as Vaden was just about to show you. Also negates the strength of being a wizard if you nullify our spells. Are you going to take away some of the monk's key as well as hobble the rogue? Nullifying powerful spells we cast, is just as bad for wizards as either of those would be for the other two, especially as we don't have many high-level spells to start with.

That did waste a 4th level spell.

That's a good point but do you really see any of the others strategizing that well? I will give you guys the slots back however, if that helps at all. If the others can actually start strategizing in the same respect you do I would most definitely keep you invisible.

My strategy was essentially: cast a bunch of buff spells and wait until only a few people are left.

(Still don't agree with being penalized for good strategy, but I do understand what your reasoning is and have to agree with it being the best option for now.) Vaden, now visible, casts magnify gravity at 4th-level, hitting both the Monk and Hopper.
DC 19 Con save or take 23 thunder damage and have your speed halved until the end of your next turn. On a save you take half damage.

sorry damage above should have been force, not thunder.
Remember, the Monk has a save to make at the end of their last turn, in order to negate the affect of the synaptic static. Unless the antimagic that happened dispelled that as well. If it did not, then you are still taking that negative of 1d6 to all attacks, saves, and ability checks. You are not under the affects of a spell though, it is just the result of the damage of that spell, so should not be affected by whatever dispelled the invisibility and wall of force.

What round are we on anyway? synaptic static round 1 Mind whip Round 2 Greater invis round 3 Fire bolt round 4 fire bolt round 5 Magnify gravity round 6
So only 4 rounds left of the 1d6 for the monk, unless he does a save before then.
