Horxik whistles as he steps into the Welcoming Wench. The half-elf skips to the bar without even looking twice, and waves down the bartender with a smile. "I'll take anything sweet," he says as he leans back and takes his first look at the room. Anyone else in the tavern can clearly see a lighter-skinned half-elf wearing finer clothing and with a seemingly cheery demeanor.

Kiya Goldensoul waits and watches in a corner of the Inn. To an observer in the Inn, she would seem like someone good at everything, charismatic, athletic, intelligent, perceptive, confident. She is wearing robes with cut of sleeves, travelers under the cloak, and a head covering. On her table is a small, unimportant looking leather book, and leaning against the table is a staff tipped with a decorative metal cobra head. She appears to be a human, but somehow a little different.
Seeing the adventurers enter the tavern Kiya thinks to herself this could be the chance I'm looking for. But then again everyone asks questions. I guess I have no other options though. She then get's up and approaches the adventurers, glowing as she does.
"Greetings. You are adventurers? How do I become one? I need to know, there's not any choice for me..." She says, her voice becoming bitter at the end. It's my only option. Unlike these people, I don't have a choice. She thinks angrily. As she waits for a reply, she begins to idly twirl her yklwa.
((OOC: I usually use quotation marks plus a purple color to denote speaking, italics to denote thinking, to sets of parentheses for OOC, and bold plus underline to denote actions in combat. ))
Night falls and as you finish eating and determine watches you can hear the occasional howl of a wolf.
(For the characters in the tavern.)
As Kiya and Horxik get to know each other, the only other person of any real interest is a Gnome who just entered, decked out in fine traveling clothes and carrying a walking stick.
Then they see the both of you and they amble over, "Do ye be adventurers? If it do be so I have need o' yer services an' can pay handsomely."

Horxik looks the aasimar up and down with an easy smile. "I'm not exactly an adventurer yet, but perhaps soon enough. I'm not really sure where to start, so you probably have as good an idea as me." He then looks around the tavern for any other people that look like they might be interested in adventuring or know anything about how to start.
Horxik chuckles, "It appears that adventure has just fallen into our lap," he says to the aasimar. "The name is Horxik by the way."
Turning to the gnome, he checks out the gnomes apparel and nods approvingly, "I'm listening, and something tells me that our new friend," he waves over at Kiya, "is going to be interested as well."

(( OOC welcome newcomers! Excited to have you aboard. I play Evre, a stunningly beautiful young human woman with a friendly smile. Here’s her description. Right now she’s camping with group one in the woods while you all are hanging in the tavern))
Evre:
A beautiful young human woman clad in an embroidered grey hooded cloak and nicer clothing. With blonde hair and grey eyes, she has a friendly smile. By her side is a filled leather backpack and a staff
if you want to see a picture you can see it in the campaign page.
Evre takes her rest and her watch, and when she is awake she spends some time studying an old book and some notes, going back and forth between the two, and occasionally writing with her quill, deftly, with very fine print. Her owl sits nearby, watching and listening.
*Right now, where would Loyal be? Would he be with the group in the hills?*
