OOC: My bad I didn't see the 'to my room' I just read stopping at the bar for a drink!
The older woman peers curiously at the both of you but especially at Zmyth blocking the only exit.
"I've worked for the Wintermarshes since I was a girl and gained my place as a ladies maid to my mistress she trained me herself," the older human woman begins with a sorrowful tone in remembering. "She was a hard woman there isn't a doubt about it but she was fair and paid me well," she adds. "That grandson of hers well all of the generation nowadays is worthless if you ask me. Not a one of them works for their keep only living off the spoils of the hard work she and her brothers, Ethrais bless them, did to build that winery from a strip of dirt," she explains. "That boys got debts I know. He owes people all over Issyra and came home because of it. His grandmother closed her pursestrings and cut him off," she explains next but that's where she stops looking around for more wine having sipped hers so often whilst talking she's finished it.
Zmyth roll perception please.

The woman peers at you suspiciously holding her dice close but your face doesn't seem to jog her memory.
"It's a three gold buy in with no limit raises," a half-orc dressed in purple robes covered with stars and glitter explains. He has a lute on his back and speaks with an easy smile looking at you both.
Xu as you look around an realize if people aren't enchanted they must be drugged or drunk!!

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Zmyth steps forward and hands his glass to the woman. "Be my guest, m'lady. I'm not thirsty." He turns to Blitz. "M'lord, could I see you in the hall for a minute?" The Dragonborn smiles down at the woman again. "Please excuse us." He stands tall once again, heads for the door, and walks through into the hall.
OOC: I'm assuming as soon as he's in the hallway, Blitz can hear what Zmyth heard through the door: "It's like breaking furniture."
Zmyth turns toward Blitz as the Dwarf follows the Dragonborn into the hallway. "I'm going to investigate the source of the commotion in the tavern. You may accompany me if you like." Without waiting for a reply, Zmyth heads toward the tavern.
Going downstairs you find the tavern in and uproar! Reaching the end of the steps and turning towards the bar Blitz you find Hykie is standing atop the bar. The gnome has raised up one figure all in red off their feet via some sort of death grip around his neck, cracking energy coming from Hykie's hand is black but the bar itself is complete chaos! Blitz you notice right away the enchantment has been broken or dispelled disguising the bar but you are not sure which!
Zmyth is just looks like a brawl to you! The people you surmise from battle whom are patrons are behind tables while two other red clas figures with weapons drawn one with a spear the other a scimitar are trying to coax the patrons out into a fight!!
I need you to roll initiative!! Red figures will just be red icons!

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The Reds 1, 5, 8
Hykie 22
Map: each square is 5ft; rounds are tabletops. Hykie is the black shape on bar; Red squares are the baddies @ F5, L6, N5 baddie at F5 is currently being magically grappled by Hykie via hold person.
OOC: I'm going to go ahead and play my turn for round 1. Move Zmyth to D5.
Zmyth marches into the bar, making a very hasty survey of the scene. He stops near the front of the bar, feet from where the Gnome is standing atop the bar and magically binding one of the red-clad individuals. "Good Gnome!" he yells over the commotion. "What is going on?!"
Yes. Zmyth isn't going to blindly go attack people without getting a little information if he can. His action this six seconds is asking Hykie what's going on.
OOC: Gotcha, thought you were more an attack now ask questions later kind of PC sorry man!
Hykie looks at you with a straggled expression.
"Help or get out," he says to the dragonborn as the man starts lowering to the ground as the gnome growls and wrenches his hand into a fist and the man yelps in pain!

OOC: I'm guessing my history check wasn't enough to tell me anything. I'll use the rest of Zmyth's movement to move past the F5 guy toward the other two to try to figure out if these guys are really a threat or if the Gnome has just gone berserk.
Zmyth huffs in frustration at the Gnome's response and rushes further into the bar to get a better look at what's going on with the other two red-clad individuals and the patrons on that side of the tavern.
OOC: Use the map's grid system please. You have limited movement. You have 20ft more of movement left. From D5 you can see the two menacing the patrons like I said and they look terrified.
