Ludolf nods. "Please inform the rest of us if there is any change in that Pardot, it would be...problematic if you actually did turn into one of those servants of YIG. Can you do me a favor, just give yourself a small cut and check if your blood seems normal?" He says with a polite but firm tone.
"I didn't know you had any medical training!" Pardot says with a surprise, reaching to his belt to grab his dagger and lightly prick his finger.
(con save 4)
Cupping the water into his mouth, Pardot barely manages to swallow any at all before immediately retching along with Ludolf and Triasa. Thankful, yet again, for the wine skin, he immediatly takes a big swig from it, before gathering his balance, standing up, and looking around, now feeling almost at home amongst these people, and giving them a weak smile.
Pardot's blood drips from his finger. It is a very very dark red perhaps he is just very dehydrated.
The grippli smile and laugh as you all get uncontrollably ill. They then clasp you on the back as the Pond Mother nods at Daventry "Those two represented the best of us, their sacrifices will never be forgotten. Please stay as long as you like but we shall not hold you any longer. Safe travels and may the bog be with you." The grippli will talk as long as you like. Whenever you leave the Pond Mother's make shift home you are shortly joined by the rest of the Friendlies, Maxx and Shorty. It appears they are ready to say their goodbyes.

Daventry lets Triäsa keep her waterskin for when she's ready to recover, and moves over to the Friendlies.
She gives Gunnar a warrior's handshake, forearms clasped. "Best of luck with that axe. I expect many more foul heads'll be removed with it!"
She gives a nod to the others, before pausing a moment at Cathbad. "A bit of curiosity I had, but didn't have the chance to ask. What was it you all were doing before you got captured and ended up in that hellhole?"
Triäsa of course drinks down a large gulp from Daventry's waterskin expecting water. She quickly starts to cough, spitting out what little wasn't already swallowed. "What was that!? You trying to kill me Dav!?" she exclaims, stating back at the waterskin. A moment later she takes another swig, then spits out the precious whiskey. "Perhaps that's what I needed to wash away that... flavor."
Daventry checks her belt and gives an apologetic look at Triäsa... Just as the bard takes another swig of whiskey. She shrugs, perhaps it was a beneficial mistake? She looks back to the Friendlies.
"I can't say I have, but perhaps you can tell us if your blood is alright?" Ludolf says in a worried tone.
Ludolf tries to clean and comfort Triäsa after the traumatizing experience, giving the Pond Mother a polite bow, ready to head back to the Dog's Ear when the others are.
"I can't say I have, but perhaps you can tell us if your blood is alright?" Ludolf says in a worried tone.
Pardot only shrugs, not knowing much of blood, but decides that he’ll drink a bit less wine, and a lot more water for the next few days to see how he feels.
Triäsa thinks she has a brilliant medical breakthrough but before she can articulate the words fatigue overwhelms her mind and the moment passes.
Gunnar simply smiles at Daventry, "Adventurers on the road to Glory thats what were.. are..."
Cathbad looks to the group to provide a bit more complete of an answer, "We met Gehir outside of Waterdeep. He was paying well for an escort south on a scientific experiment. Claimed he found evidence why the stars had fallen. Something about blending of the planes, honestly, it didn't make much sense and was probably all a lie. We aren't mercenaries but the work seemed noble.... and it did pay well. He led us to the forest here and thats where he revealed his true intentions."
It's at about this point that Captain Jois comes walking toward you all, "You all OK? Lookin' a bit green and we are still on solid ground. Gonna be a long trip if you're already ill."He walks forward clasping forearms with the Friendlies in a hearty hero handshake, "It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I'll be back this way in a few weeks perhaps we can have another bowl of Shorty's latest creation."He then looks back at the rest of you, "It seems our work here is done if you're all ready why don't get back on the boat and set sail. It's a long trip north if that's still your intention."
Assuming you all are done here we will enter a period of downtime on the boat as you sail North. During the quiet time how are you spending your efforts. RP, rolls etc shall depend on your activities. In terms of sanity the more time you spend with your touchstones and the more dedicated that time is the higher your sanity recovery will be, though rolls are involved and the dice be a cruel mistress sometimes.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Apart from eating, resting and taking brisk walks back and forth across the main deck of the Dog's Ear, Ludolf would mainly spend his time consulting his books on the esoteric and occult about the Dreamlands and unknown Kadath. He would also call upon Edgar again, letting the raven spend most of his time looking out to see to spot any threats on the horizon. He can be seen showing affection towards Träsa at meals and meetings, smiling warmly at her.
Arcana: 12 + Gudance: 3 LotFR: 21 Edgar perception: 6
Triäsa seems to almost say something, stops, then quietly says, "Sorry Pardot. I should know about the blood, but my head feels a little muddled. Whatever you said, yea, that is probably the right move." She says goodbye to the Friendlies, ready to quickly get back to the ship.
The first day on the ship Triäsa pretty much just rests, trying to overcome her exhaustion. The second day, she is still moving around slowly, but is up a lot more. The third she's maybe a bit off but seems to be feeling more herself. And after that she's fine. She also hangs onto Daventry's waterskin of whisky - at least until it's empty. She definitely relies far more on drinking water, but folks would notice she still shudders now and then as she remembers the vile taste of that pond water. A small dash of whiskey seems to make her feel better.
As with Ludolf, Triäsa seems to enjoy his presence at meals or whenever the group is together, spending much of her time speaking with him. Evenings, once she's feeling better, she's more than happy to bring out her lute and play for the rest of their group and any of the ship's crew that cares to listen. Now and then she'll even sing something and was kind of excited to learn a few songs from the sailors, improvising in some cases to come up with a lute accompaniment.
Her days are mostly spent studying the book her mother wrote ('Defense and Security of Interplanar Rifts') as well pouring through her own written notes. She is hoping to perhaps find something that would touch on the events currently going on. Or just to give her some inspiration. She often just stops to read the words, hearing in them her mother's voice, much as she'd heard her voice on the wind back in the swamp. Throughout the day, she would take breaks to practice at her lute. Frequently, when alone, or at least when she presumed she was mostly alone, she would often sing one particular song. Those who hear it might recall her singing it for the dead raven-woman, back just before the stars fell from the sky.
I am a poor wayfaring stranger travelling through this world of woe but there's no sickness, toil or danger in that bright land to which I go
Well I'm going there to meet my mother said she'd meet me when I come I'm only going over Jordan I'm only going over home
I know dark clouds will gather ‘round me I know my way will be rough and steep but beautiful fields lie just before me where gods redeemed their vigils keep
Well I'm going there to meet my loved ones gone on before me, one by one I'm only going over Jordan I'm only going over home
For those who overhear, they would note that her singing seems odd - the tune not quite complete somehow.
Daventry throws herself into working on the ship, keeping herself busy to make the time go faster. She relishes the comparatively uncomplicated work, the wind on her skin as she climbs rigging, the familiar smell of the sea and sound of waves breaking against the hull. Freedom.
Daventry will spend time at the helm and navigator's maps, if she can. There was a time she was learning how to use navigator's tools, before she decided to steal a skiff and find a treasure chest with a particular tome within... If the Captain is willing to instruct her, she will be a willing student.
At night, Daventry seems to dream vividly, constantly tossing and turning in her hammock and muttering. She keeps a journal next to her, and attempts to write down what she remembers as she wakes up, and shares what she can with her friends. She dreams of a beautiful city of shining marble temples and manicured gardens, of the lost youth of different life lead, of a creature bonded to carry her to the stars. Her memory upon waking is vague and hazy, but each day she feels more connected and confident, and as her conviction grows so does her ability to manipulate the Weave, a power returned to her without the influence of the tome.
Once Triäsa has recovered, she will gather her friends as nighttime falls.
Over the next few days, Pardot will focus on drinking as much water as possible, and then later checking his blood again in a few days. While on sailing though he will ask the captain for some incense and herbs, as well as collecting some natural ingredients in order to cast divination, though only once to not ask too much of the captain. His question for the Green Sister would be "How can we best prepare to find and enter the dreamlands?"

You all board the ship and look out at the Grippli outpost and the Cloakwood where you have spent what seems like months. Gunnar, Cathbad, Maxx, Shorty and a handful of grippli watch the ship push back and wave as you depart. You think you see tears in Gunnar's eyes. As you get out to sea Captain Jois addresses you all quickly, "Well that was interesting. Our next stop will be tomorrow night in Baulder's Gate to supply for the trip north. We can't stay there long and it will be late but a few shops might be open. I don't want the four of you to leave the ship, you have a proclivity for getting lost and causing trouble. I can send some of the men to gather supplies if you'd like. Just make a list and we'll get it taken care of. Once we leave Baulder's Gate we'll be heading straight to Waterdeep. It should take a week of straight sailing."

Daventry gives a look of fake shock. "Us? Cause trouble? Why, I never! I mean, if I had a silver for every time I narrowly avoided a portal trying to whisk me into the void, I'd have two silver. Which isn't a lot but I guess it's strange that it happened twice."
She would put together a grocery list of spell components, including a pouch for her belt.

Though it's not whiskey, since Pardot notices Davenrtry occasionally looking disappointedly at her empty bottle, he would use his alchemy jug to fill up her bottle with wine as often as she wants :)
Daventry tries to maintain something resembling decorum as the rest of her friends completely fall apart at the seams.
