Pardot carefully enters into the cave. The air is warmer, no wind and easy shelter from the snow outside. It will make an excellent campsite you think to yourself. Just ahead you see the outlines of two large, Cave Bears just as Edgar had warned. You call out to the beasts as you've grown accustomed to doing but as they awaken all they see is an intruder in their home. The anger flashes in their eyes as they ignore your words and rush you; thankful a meal has come to their home, it shall save them the inconvenience of hunting on the cold wet night.
(LOL I Know I wanted something higher than that. Sorry man)

Here is a sort of map. Not sure how much you will need it. The map makes things look like it is a man made cave. It is not. It is a simple cave no entrances or exits other than the one you all see. It's just the best map I could find. I am ok with you all moving your starting positions a bit though only Pardot is actually in the cave.

Pardot sees the anger and hunger in their eyes, and knows that some beasts cannot overcome their primal instincts. He quickly dashes back towards his companions tossing his star light ((dex 14 save)) over them as he backs up.
Pardot's turn is first, so if it lands it will affect how the others attack.

Daventry rushes forward as Pardot calls out, and realizing things have gone less-than-ideal, she immediately draws her silver dagger. The light shining off her necklace, she sees the danger, and whips the dagger in an overhand throw towards the eastern bear. The instant the small blade leaves her hand, her rapier explodes into a hundred points of light, which streak from her beltline towards her hand and reform perfectly. She sets her feet for the next attack.
If Pardot's Faerie Fire works (and she would redirect her attack on the other bear if it's the only one affected), advantage roll for Daventry's Attack: 17

Pardot's light fills the cave with a brilliant silver glow as the second bear is brightly illuminated by moonlight. The first bear briefly glows but as quickly as the light came it retreats leaving bear 1 in darkness.
Just as Pardot blankets one of the cave bears with a brilliant silver glow Ludolf swiftly curses the bear (Hex, str) and turns his piercing grey eyes on it blasting it with gray crackling eldritch force. Eldtritch blast: 15 Force: 7 Necrotic: 1 He then steps up to the right trying to shield Triäsa with his body from the rage of the cave bears.
Bear number 2 is stopped in his tracks by your onslaught. It growls in pain as it is struck by every blow except Klin's book attack. Visibly wounded bear two is able to keep fighting as both bears strike out at Klin seeing his meat as a tasty breakfast and afraid of Daventry's bright lights and hard looking armor.
(Klin -- You learn the bears have no immunities, resistances or vulnerabilities.)

Triäsa grabs her crossbow and aims it at Bear #2, which still seems to be up despite the numerous blows.
(Attack: 6, Damage: 7 pierce)
She then briefly sings, granting Bardic Inspiration (1d6 to ability check, attack, or save - lasts 10 minutes) to Klin. 'To daring deeds of Klin's swift hand; now music lift to outcomes grand.'

Daventry surges forward to the remaining bear's flank, striking at the bear's side with two swift stabs of her sword, energy trailing behind each thrust.
The bear never had a chance. As it turned it's hunger toward you; you turned your power on it. Klin unleashed a fury he did not know was inside of him combined with the strikes of his friends the beast's neck snaps awkwardly, a short gasp escapes it's mouth as it crumbles next to it's cave mate. Dead.
End of a very brief combat.... Good job.... you all push out the damage when you set your minds to it....
Thavol stumbles into the cave as he hears the sounds of battle die down, "Whoa that's a lot of blood man. Maybeyou cat's don't need me here at all.... Weshould be pretty safefrom the elements here. Let's set up camp hopefully the weatherclears when the sun rises."The beardless dwarf stumbles around the cave gathering wood to start a fire. "Anyone want a smoke?" Predictably Thavol lights up as he works.

"We should probably clean up." Triäsa says, a bit reluctantly as she looks at the mess of blood. "Does it make any sense to try and do anything with the remains? Hate for the skins and meat to go to waste."
She takes a moment to look about the cave and starts to pick a spot to set up her tent. She will then assist with getting everything set up. (Perception for looking around for anything of intetest: 9)
"Thavol, did I hear you say earlier this cold is unusual at this time and elevation? We are not going to have to contend with this all the rest way are we?" she asks the Dwarf.

Pardot sighs at the loss of life natural life than they disturbed due to their trek, but knows that little could have been done to stop it. Having lived alone for so long though he has at least some experience in dealing with the remains so that they do not go to waste, as Triasa said. Even if they cannot use it all themselves, nature can. He says little, but immediately gets to work, accepting any help given to prepare the bodies for nature to reclaim them. Including attempting to salvage any meat or skin they can, in order to properly work it once they get back in town.
not sure what roll: two straight d20s (in case someone helps) - 2, 18 + guidance - 3 - then whatever skill you’d want from my sheet.
Daventry flicks the blood from her rapier before slotting it into her belt. She extends her hand towards the first fallen bear, and the dagger stuck in its fur dematerializes into streams of light, which then reform to the small fine blade in her hand once again. This, too, she sheathes.
"Mmm. I'll leave the actual skinning to someone more accustomed to the wilds," she says while glancing at Pardot, "but I'll help where I can. Surely these bears can provide good hides we can sell on the tail end of this trip. Dunno how bear meat is, though. Scavengers, yeah? Probably ate a bunch of gross stuff."
(It would be either survival or nature. You also advantage on these with Thavol around)
Pardot takes some time carefully skinning and cleaning the hides. They are a very fine quality and will almost certainly fetch a good price back in town if you would choose to do so. You are able to maintain them perfectly. You have acquired two very heavy cave bear hides. You are also able to harvest plenty of meat for dinner this evening. Unfortunately there is no good way to preserve the remainder so whatever is not used or harvested here will likely rot slowly in the cave.
Triäsa you look around and don't see much remarkable. There are bones of many small and medium sized creatures. This cave has clearly been occupied by these bears for a very long time. None of the remains appear humanoid. There is plenty of material for a fire if you should choose. You don't see any other entrances or exists to the cave.
At your question Thavol responds, "The mountain is a fickle mistress. No telling whatcan happen up here my lady. I will say this storm is pretty out there. Summer weathercan be rainy but this cold and wind so suddenly is unusual.Hopefully our luck improves tomorrow otherwise we could be in for real trouble." He continues setting up camp for the night and smoking his strange concoction of moss and weeds. Once the camp is set up he goes to the walls of the cave and starts picking moss from the sides. He sings while he works.
"Things are falling down on me Heavy things I could not see When I finally came around Something small would pin me down When I tried to step aside I moved to where they hoped I'd be"
