This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Through her sleepiness, Triäsa tries to recall if she has heard of Meenlocks before and knows anything additional. (Arcana: 10)
"Gee, hours of horrific nightmares... Ludolf"s reading says they change people into more of these creatures through psychic torment... sometimes in hours. So you all just figured you should see what happens?" Triäsa rants, looking to Daventry for support. Having said her part though she just looks tired - drained really. She mumbles, "Damned idiots," to herself and then quietly follows the party as they depart.
Ludolf turns to Triäsa. "I'm sorry if you think this is foolhardy Triäsa, but we could possibly find clues to that portal in the Meenlock nest. It might even be right there." He says, trying to cheer the young half-elven bard up a bit. "I can see that you haven't slept well Triäsa, I guess no one of us did. We'll just have to endure this nightmare a little longer. I'm almost certain that once we have dealt with whatever is down that mine we should also have solved this mystery, and that's what we came here for, right?"He says to Triäsa, and the others, trying to sound encouraging.
(Yes I meant the West. Didn't get much sleep last night and posting between things at work :) The only rolls which are incorrect for the saves were Ludolf's and Pardot's as I forgot the prof. bonus for them. The rest were correct. Sorry again. I will post separately the southern most road in a bit)

Carefully, you all make your way down the narrow tunnel. The whispers and shadows mock you the entire way. This tunnel ends at a small chamber that holds worn picks, rusty shovels, and two hand carts filled with debris and rags. The ceiling is about 20 feet tall and there does not appear to be any other way out of except the way you came. Just as Daventry is about to enter the chamber Pardot notices scores of bats hanging from the ceiling, sleeping lightly.
The white areas are places you can actively see. The dark grey you have explored but you can not see into currently.

Pardot points to the bats above, putting his fingers to his lips in the ‘shhh’ gesture. Though their presence is likely already know in the cave, he’d rather not ring the alarms if possible. He then continues to follow, keeping his eyes out ((haven’t really done anything, so not sure if a new roll is needed yet)).
No roll is needed except for Klin who entered the room. Klin the carts are on the other side of the chamber near the wall. Stealth check if you are being quiet otherwise you can walk over and check the carts, your choice.

As they back up towards the fork, Pardot, now trying to stay as quiet as possible, heads slowly towards the western tunnel in an attempt to see what is there.
stealth 20 - Should I roll a new perception? Or is the 18 roll from before still going? If you want new: 16
Silently, Pardot enters the chamber heading toward the west tunnel. As he gets there he finds that the tunnel ends blindly and there are no other exists from this room.
Klin also enters the chamber however as he moves through he steps on an old rotted board that loudly snaps in half sending an echo through the chamber. The sound is loud enough to stir the bats hanging from the ceiling that begin flapping their wings wildly as their sleep is disturbed. The bats swirl and coalesce into three swarms as they descend upon you.
Combat time!

Yes sorry I just looked at your modifier so you did indeed pass.

Wait... so the rolls posted were without modifiers?
EDIT: Woops and I missed a number of posts before mine! Her comments were before we left. But were both sets of WIS Saves without modifiers?

(Well, Tri got no modifier on the roll, you can see the roll and the modifier if you move the cursor over it)
Daventry gives Triasa a shrug. "Would have been nice to know before inviting the nightmares, yeah."
(OOC: Did you mean the entrance was to the west, with the light? With Daventry in the lead, expecting to go either south or northeast)
Daventry squints in her own starlight, trying to shake off the whispers and dancing shadows. Does either path seem to descend more than the other?
"Perhaps we check out the passage to the right, first."
(assuming the path to the south stays relatively level, inclined to check that out first)

"You decide Daventry, we trust you, we will follow you." Ludolf says calmly.
Daventry nods and goes south.

Ludolf starts to cautiously and quietly back away, afraid that Klin will wake the bats up.
It takes Triäsa a moment to figure out what Pardot is doing. But once she sees the bats she also backs up a bit the way they came from.
