Ludolf groans as the bats wakes up and swarms them. He swiftly curses the closest one and then he turns his gray piercing eyes on it and blasts it with grey eldritch crackling force. Eldritch blast: 15 Force: 10 Necrotic: 2 He then ushers Triäsa furher back.
If her cantrip's magic takes hold, she steps back, forcing the bats to have to move to reach her. Swarms usually have 0 ft reach, so she shouldn't pop an AoO.

((two turns b/c of high initiative yeah?))
Seeing the bats waken and begin to stir, Pardot quickly moves to the back to be able to get range. Activating the archer constellation on his shield, he shoots off a star arrow and a magical stone from his sling before they come down and attack at his friend. He then immediately repeats the same shots again.
Klin -- You learn the creatures are resistant to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage and immune to Charmed, Frightened, Grappled, Paralyzed, Petrified, Prone, Restrained, Stunned.
Klin swings his book and his fists wildly as the creatures swarm his head. The book slams into a number of the bats knocking them dead to the ground similarly his fists drop more from the sky. Ludolf gently nudges Triäsa behind him as he blasts the bats with his eldritch energy. Daventry's sword slices lunges through the air infused with an arcane power skewering a number of the small creatures along the blade. As the bats from the swarm fall it seems that one of the three swarms has completely lost the will to fight and retreats out the cave. Pardot's attacks rain into the creatures as he his attacks decimate well over half of the second swarm.
The bats continue to swarm and bite at Klin as they try to feed on his warmth. (Swarm 2 is the one injured by Pardot's attack)

Daventry continues her assault on the next swarm of bats (2), again lunging her blade through and retreating a step as the magic coalesces behind her rapier.
Ludolf swiftly curses the closest bat swarm and then he turns his gray piercing eyes on it and blasts it with grey eldritch crackling force. Eldritch blast: 8 Force: 13 Necrotic: 2 And blasts the wall in frustration.
Daventry's strikes crash into the bats ripping thier wings apart and dispersing the second swarm leaving just one maddening cluster of bats swarming Klin's head.
Triäsa you watch as your companions cut through the swarms when suddenly you are struck from behind by a heavy hard object.

Triäsa you feel your body tighten up and become weak and hard to move you are just about lose control when you shake the feeling and regain control of your body. Behind you stands a strange creature. It matches the description your companions gave earlier. A creature with claws for hand and feet. Pincher and antenna on it's head give it a strange insectoid like appearance however its "jaw" is covered with squirming and writhing tentacles. It makes no noise as it glares at you. Obviously disappointed you are still moving.
Pardot you would see the creature as it strikes down on Triäsa. Klin and Daventry you are have your backs turned or are distracted by the bats and would not see the strike. Ludolf you would know Triäsa was hit by something but your back is also turned.
Anyone who startstheir turn within 5 feet of the creature must make a DC11 Wisdom save or be Frighteneduntil the start of your next turn.
(Please remember those of you have levels of exhaustion or affects from shadows and caves at the beginning, Good Luck!)
Triäsa you are up and you all can continue with the round. This creature acts just before Triäsa in initiative.

Seeing the creature he'd seen last night attack his friend from behind, Pardot gasps and calls out, "It's behind us!"As the creature is obviously quiet, and this is it's home, he's hoping to light it up with star light so it hopefully will not be able to hide easily. Followed by a star arrow.
this thing likely has high dex... but here we go - faerie fire hoping to just hit it. Dex save 14 Star shot: Attack: 25 Damage: 8 - if I get adv from faerie fire: 26
Daventry again knocks a number of bats to the ground. Ludolf's blast goes wide of the mark.
The last swarm bites and claws at Klin as he runs out toward the strange creature that ambushed.
Swarm Attack:22
Swarm Damage:6
His book and fists smack solidly into the odd creature spraying black ichor on the walls.
The swarm the moves to the next nearest target, Daventry. In doing so a thunderous boom echo's through the chambers as the tiny heads of a bunch of bats explode as Daventry's magic goes off.
Swarm Attack @Daventry:22
Swarm Damage @Daventry:5
As we start round 3 Pardot's magic descends on the creature.
Dex Save:6
It then winces in pain as the light from Pardot's star strikes it directly in the chest. The creature stumbles in agony, it's eyes darting side to side.

Daventry mutters something in Dwarvish about steaming piles of bat guano, but with a lot of intermixed curse words too harsh for polite ears.
She rushes to flank the swarm north of Klin and strikes out with her blade, the sword's light causing a dance of shadows.
