(I think your time recovering here can count as a short rest if anyone wants to roll hit dice etc.)
Ludolf thinks back on all the symbols and icons he has read and learned about over the years. He has a vague and passing recollection that this symbol was associated with an obscure cult of the Far Realm hundreds, maybe thousands, of years ago. Unfortunately the name and purpose of the cult was lost to time.
Daventry (and who ever wants to) examine the remains of Thavol's armor. There is no hint of magic in the tattered garbs. The vicious onslaught of attacks which took his life have destroyed his leather armor beyond repair.
Finishing you investigation you head out the southwest tunnel with Daventry's starlight illuminating moss along the smooth dirt walls. This dead-end cavern opens wide, and the lingering dampness of the tunnels is pronounced in here. Moisture leaches through the moss ceiling above, forming fat droplets that fall into pools of dark water around the chamber. A sharp scent of minerals fills the air and mixes with the earthy smell of the moss. The sound of dripping doesn't echo, but is immediately dulled by the moss-carpeted surfaces.
The surface of the water ripples as drops of moisture fall from the ceiling. In the bright starlight Pardot keenly notes the water seems to have two consistencies. The typical dirty water one might expect in a cave but also a more viscous black layer floating oddly on the surface. There does not seem to be anything else of interest to any of you.

Triäsa keeps well back from the pools of water. "Is there anything here? If this is a dead end why not just head out?" She sounds weary and clearly has little enthusiasm for just exploring.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"As I suspected the symbol is associated with the Far Realm, as are the Meenlocks." Ludolf responds as Pardot describes the symbol.
"Yes, unless these pools somhow are portals I suggest that we leave the mine now. The threat of the Meenlocks is gone for now." He says, inspecting the pools from a distance. Investigation: 11 He also uses his mind over matter to telekinetically prod the surface of the pool.
Pardot as you look into and onto the water you recognize the black sludge floating on top. This is some sort of ooze creature waiting for prey to get close enough that it can strike out and consume it. You are pretty sure this is a creature called a Black Pudding. (With your roll you would know everything in the MM on Black Puddings)
There does not seem to be anything else of interest in this area. At least from where you are standing.

When Pardot points out that the black sludge might be something called a Black Pudding Ludolf decides against prodding anything. "I don't think there is any reason for us to linger in this mine now."He says, motioning for the others to move towards the exit. "I'm not sure how we will find Chalet Brantifax and that portal though. But we mustn't forget to put flowers on Mr. Grosvenor's parents graves before we leave Vermeillon."
"Oh please Klin, it is barely sentient, what do you think would happen if that thing decided to slither out to hunt when the mining here has resumed. And what are you planning to do, write with ink on that wall? I agree with Daventry, we should try and at least seal this part of the mine off before we leave." Ludolf grumbles.
“The last chamber was rigged to be sealed it seems.” Pardot says thoughtfully, keeping a close eye on the sludge in the water. “Though we should trigger them from outside the room if possible of course.”
Triäsa follows Daventry out of the chamber, "I have some oil in my pack, but we'd probably need more if we were going to cover all of that chamber. Might be best to leave them for right now." She seems very eager to just be out of this place.
Ludolf you are not an expert in explosions or mining but you would estimate based on the one explosion you all witnessed that maybe two or three sticks of dynamite would do the trick. If those dirty, sneaky monsters could pull off an explosion and cave in how hard could it possibly be. You know there are three sticks of dynamite left in the cave with fuses attached to the remaining pillars in the other room.
Your choice, head out or blow shit up? :) (Or really anything, choices choices)

"We should be able to seal off this way with the three sticks of dynamite left." Ludolf says using the telekinetic abilities of his enlightened mind to move the sticks to the entrance of the Black Pudding cave and then using his torch to set the explosion off as soon as everyone is at a safe distance towards the cave entrance. "Ready, here...we...go."
Ludolf carefully tries to manipulate the delicate explosives with his mind in an attempt to set them and ultimately seal the passage.
Make a check with your spell casting ability modifier. The sticks look pretty old and fragile but so long as you do not completely botch the roll it should be rather safe to do...

"There is something off about this water." Pardot says, thinking for a second ((nature: 21)) and adding what he knows of it.

With Pardot's explanation, Daventry looks at her brightly shining runeblade, contemplating how it would look corroded and sad.
"Yeah. No. Let's just leave a sign, or something. "Watch for Ooze.""
She thinks.
"Or set this entire mossy expanse on fire. Maybe a trail of lantern oil leading to that stick of explosives?"
Otherwise, let's GTFO!
