"All present and accounted for, lets find out what's waiting for us downstairs then. If the parents are down there, they will pay for their actions". Vorser begins to descend the stairs.
(I didn't forget about you all, me and my son got sick, and that mixed with the holidays made keeping up with some of my campaigns a little more difficult to do. I apologize and I'll try to advance us today.)

Everyone;
The narrow spiral staircase is made of creaky wood and is contained within a 5-foot-wide shaft of mortared stone. You all slowly make your way down the stairs, swatting away cob webs and small spiders as they fill this small, dusty space. So much in fact, that visibility is reduced to only 5ft. As walk down roughly 50ft of stairs before finally coming to the bottom.
The area underneath the house is carved out of earth, clay, and rock. The tunnels are 4 feet wide by 7 feet high with timber braces at 5-foot intervals. The hall you walk into quickly ends and splits off into a T with 2 directions you can go.
"I agree with Vorser, might be best if we stay to the rear and let the others scout on." Durant pokes his armor, showing how easily it makes noise. "Wouldn't want to have the hurt pounce on us."
"We should try to be quiet, we don't know which 'monster' is in here... It seems there is also a lot to explore...", Elysis whispers. She moves up to the front, looking to the left. (Darkvision 60ft.)
((The dungeon is unlit, so any characters without Darkvision will need to provide their own light source.))
Those who look left (up on the map);
As you glance to the left (Up on the map), you see that the hall ends after 10ft. There is a separate hall leading to the right after 5ft and at the end of the hall, it bends left.
Those who look right (down on the map);
As you glance to the right (Down on the map), you see that the hall carries on for about 40ft before a wall blocks your vision. The hall splits off to the (left and right) after about 15ft. The hall continues past this point and opens up into a room with a table sitting in it, however, you can only see half of the table due to the walls blocking your clear line of sight.

“Very well the quiet approach it is.” Vorser sighs knowing this may not end well for him Stealth: 4
before setting off, he kneels down and picks a small stone from the floor and mutters some words grasping his shield with the other hand and casts light on it. “Here, this should help you.” He says as he tosses it to Janek
Ignatia winced at the incredibly loud clangs and bangs of her 'stealthy' companions as they moved up. She headed around to the left and moved up to the second corner, looking around it carefully....though she figured that everything down here had to already have heard them coming...

Ignatia;
You hear the voice of the little girl in your head. "Yes... This was our nanny..." A loud cry echos in your head. "They killed her!"
I don't have a signature.
"So our only way down is those stairs I assume... How is everything around...?"
Elysis asks the others.
"Down is the only option left for us it seems, are we all ready?" Vorser looks around the room to make sure that everyone is accounted for.
"Yes. Ready." Janek says in response to Vorser.

Durant nods, ready to continue. He tightens his shield and grips his holy symbol, muttering a quiet prayer.
" The nanny lies in that chest, murdered by the mum and dad...I believe that was her we put to rest downstairs. Let's go meet the parents."
"All present and accounted for, lets find out what's waiting for us downstairs then. If the parents are down there, they will pay for their actions". Vorser begins to descend the stairs.
"Right behind you, it will be so." Durant cracks his neck and follows Vorser. "Let us end these children's suffering."

Ignatia moved carefully down to the intersection and peered around the corner to the left. ( Devils Sight)
Stealth: 14
Perception: 15
“How should we handle this?” Vorser says to the group in a hissed voice “I’m not exactly the quietest so may hamper any attempts at stealth.”
((is there light in the tunnels, is everything obscured due to the dust?))

"Not stealthy here. But if we run into something can't have all the armor in back." Janek says. He moves up to Ignatia. "What do you see?"

"Well alright then, I'll stay towards the front. Does anyone need light? I can make some if ye can't see."
Stealth 4
Janek speaks up as he was going to grab a torch. "I'll need light. It'll save a hand if you can provide it."
