(You can try intimidation, though Scarab gets a free Wisdom(?) save against your attempt I believe. I do not know how skill checks are handled in the arena as they've never come up in my experience. Its mostly attacks, spells, and attempts to hide/find.)

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
(I figured I should at least try since I can't rely on tanking too many hits at this point, also I believe that he makes a save but he as advantage since hes a halfling)
(In the arena you may make a skill check without using an action. I'd give to smile to oppose it, and the winner or loser would have an effect determined by a d10. The table is at the end of the public notes.)
(Result: 4... The loser's speed is decreased by ten feet on their next turn. Oppose with Intimidation or Insight.)

Seeing Scarab unfased, Nara goes into a rage, rushing him. Upon reaching melee range, she sinks into a low stance, swinging her sword low to the side, trying to smack him in the ribs with the flat of the blade, remembering just before that her attacks were to be non lethal.
Grianne is wandering in the forest, trying to calm down from her encounter earlier when she comes across a clearing. In the clearing are 3 people. 2 look like they are fighting but the 3rd stands off to the side. Its Eider and 2 people she doesn't know. does she approach ? 3
No, she tries to stay hidden behind a tree on the edge of the clearing. For now she will watch. stealth 8

Nara narrowly avoids Scarab's attack, shifting her sword's weight into the swing's path. Using the momentum from her previous attack, she ducks around Scarab and brings her sword roundabout for a haymaker strike towards his opposite side with an explosive shout of rage.

Having snapped out of a bit of a stupor, Marmaduke looks about in momentary confusion before taking her leave from the glory hissing something under breath, and tentatively rubbing her forehead without accidently brushing aside the hood. Her goals: To find a bookie, and then maybe simply exploring the nearby area of the coliseum.

Eider watches carefully as the two newcomers test each other's strength and show their resolve. "What brings them here, why do they fight.." Eider idly considers these before his mind wonders onto more pressing concerns. "What is Grianne doing in the brush?". "What could Toren want to discuss, and what would he think of my questions?". "What will I do for my next match? And how will I handle Shmitty and Grianne yet again?"
Remembering where he is, and why he was here Eider scans the area for any potential threats: 6 (When the dice align with the RP. #FeelsGoodMan)

Banjo Man enters the tavern, removes his hat, and sets it on the floor. He then props up a small paper sign saying:
