Seeing that the group just made tons of noise in the fight, Shrek whispers "Me thinks surprise is lost" and then opens the first door in the south hallway (the next door down the hall from the room they just fought in), and pokes his head into the room.
"Anyone have a way to open this door? If not, Shrek, you want to take it down?"she gives him a wink, agreeing that stealth is long gone after the fight they just had.
Randall shrugs his shoulders at the question of how to get the door open. While the others work on it, he flexes a wounded shoulder and watches their rear along the hallway, spear and shield at the ready.

The door breaks open like kindling as Shrek barrels through it
Eight simple bunks line the walls of this room, each with a small trunk at the foot of the bed. A small table and several wooden chairs stand in the middle of the room near an iron stove. Five of the bunks are bare, but three are comfortably made up with sheets, pillows, and blankets.
Nothing if interest in the made up beds, but they have clearly been used recently. The chest, surprisingly, is not locked. It contains:
120 gp, 90 ep, cloth-of-gold priestly vestments worth 40 gp, a leather pouch containing 2 gold bracelets worth 30 gp each, and three scrolls you can tell are for spells
Shrek harrumphs from the doorway, and calls in “Me never see monks with so much gold. Me thinks they aren’t real monks.” He then turns back to look both ways down the hall, standing guard just outside the room.
From the hall, Randall whispers, "We should start thinking about what we want to accomplish here. These monks aren't much on their own, but if there are enough of them and their dwarf buddies lurking around here, they could overwhelm us. We do have that one tied up in the kitchen... we could always withdraw, interrogate them, and return if he tells us about anything that requires more attention." He shrugs. "It will give them a chance to prepare for our second assault, but I think we have blown surprise already."

Ankita hands over the scrolls and then pockets the rest, "I'll share the rest of this once we get out of here. As for the idea of interrogating the one we have? Well, unless one of you is good at that, I'll do what I can. But you're right, the element of surprise is definitely busted." She joins Randall in the hall, "This place looked big from the outside, and so far, around almost every corner we've met resistance."
Olaerys looks around at everyone and says "Agreed. Perhaps we could drag them out to interrogate them in a safer spot? I do have experience in interrogation but I haven't been so good with that thus far. Or... should we drag out one of these dark dwarves and one of the monk cultists? Hey, perhaps the Knights of Samular would be convinced to join our efforts if we told them and showed them what is going on in here, we could show Sandre...."

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
That left most white rectangle is the room you are in.
Seeing that the group just made tons of noise in the fight, Shrek whispers "Me thinks surprise is lost" and then opens the first door in the south hallway (the next door down the hall from the room they just fought in), and pokes his head into the room.
Last to know and first to be blamed...
As a free action, can I regret my life choices?
Shrek goes to open the (simple wooden) door but finds it firmly locked.
"Anyone have a way to open this door? If not, Shrek, you want to take it down?" she gives him a wink, agreeing that stealth is long gone after the fight they just had.
Olaerys says “I dont have any way. Perhaps the old heave ho?” Olaerys gets ready to help anyone who wants to bust the door down.

Shrek grins when he’s asked to bash down the door…his preferred way of entering a room unannounced.

Stepping aside, Shrek gestures to his friends to enter the room and inspect it while he stays out in the hallway, keeping guard.

Ankita heads over to the 3 bunks that are made up. She goes to the small trunk at the first one and opens it (if unlocked)

Olaerys starts opening the other chests. “Wow!”

The rest of the chests contain basic clothes and supplies. Altogether there is another 15 gp worth of coin in the other trunks

Melchor steps forwards with some interest as he spies the scrolls. 'Let me see those, please...' he says, reaching out his hand...

'Thank you.' Melchor says to Ankita, quickly casting his eyes over the scrolls before tucking them safely away...
