"Master Turnuroth, be careful as you continue, there may be a deranged florist ready to attack you with a lily behind any corner now." Damian says as they cautiously proceed through the concealed door, heading for the door to the right. Stealth: 19 Perception: 4

Ranala crinkles her nose in frustration at the mention that the florist could possibly be a cultist. "I am so sick of this." Ranala would mutter as she casts guidance upon herself to compinsate for the noisy armor she wore.
Samuel originally had intentions to help protect Ranala, but after seeing her proficiency with a whip and now seeing her donned in heavy armor…Samuel feels like maybe she should be protecting him.
All - Nothing can be heard beyond the door to the east, but you all hear noises from the north. Grunts, curses, and the sound of metal clashing upon metal echo along the flooded passage. The door to the east is opened and you all see a large, rectangular, flooded room. There appears to be another passage in the east wall here, though from where you stand in the door you can't quite see down it.
Remi says "Tie this rope off on that column. I don't want any current here or slippery floor to pull us away. Let me go have a look." He holds onto the rope and sneaks into the room as quietly as he can, trying to look into the passage to the east.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Is it just me or does that sound like an ongoing combat." Damian says in a lowered voice, motioning to the north. "Unless it is an unlikely infighting between the cultists perhaps we should hurry and interfere." He suggests impatiently.
Ankita ties off the rope to the column for Remi and watches him sneak through the door on the East and then sees a couple of the group start to head North. "Hey guys!" she whispers, "shouldn't we wait for Remi?" and she stays and waits for him to come back after his inspection.

For DM's eyes only
Skeletons' Stealth Check: 20
You wade through the knee deep water to the passage across the room. Reaching it, you see that it is completely collapsed and impassible. Heading back the way you came, your rope gets caught on something in the water. Tugging on the rope does nothing to extricate it. Before you can turn to notify the rest of your predicament, something rises from the dark foul-smelling water. A yellowed skull with bits of slimy sinew hanging off of it, its jaw missing. The skeleton stands with a rusted shortsword in one hand and your tether in the other... Three other submerged skeletons rise from the water and begin lurching toward you!
Ankita - You watch as Remi crosses the room and peers into the eastern passage. You see him shake his head and shrug, then begin making his way back to you. He appears to have some trouble with his tether and suddenly four skeletons rise from the water and surround him!
Samuel - Three of your companions continue northward while two investigate the eastern room. The trio to the north wade through the knee-deep water, the sloshing drowning out the strange sounds coming from that direction. Before you can decide who to follow, you feel a breath upon your neck... "I prefer nightshade to lilies, dear..." You hear the voice of the florist behind you and when you turn to face her, you are greeted with a pair of daggers in your gut. The thing wielding them is a horror. The face of the florist smiles wickedly at you from the darkened recesses of her cowl, her eyes alight with murderous glee. Every bit of her is covered in blood. Her face, the gloved hands gripping and twisting the daggers, and the pitch black leather armor she wears. The Reaper of Bhaal cackles madly, then withdraws the blades. She licks your blood from one and smiles before suddenly disappearing.
Attack: 23 Damage: 7
Attack: 15 Damage: 7
You feel a deathly aura emanating from the Reaper, causing you to take double the damage from the attack. You take 14 points of damage.
Rhogarr, Ranala, & Damian - Beyond the hall, a flooded chamber opens up with rough-hewn steps climbing to the south, north, and northeast. The floor buckles up above the water line in the middle of the room, forming a small island. Corpses and doused torches float in the water around the island, atop which two men circle each other with weapons bared. One of the men — a tall, unarmored brute with a greatclub and a scarred face — towers above his opponent but is gravely wounded. The smaller figure is muscular and bare-chested. He clutches a bloody dagger in one hand and a torch in the other, and has no flesh covering his skull.
All - I will roll for initiative in a bit, this is a lot to work through!

Remi, Damian, The Reaper of Bhaal, and all Skeletons have gained surprise thanks to their successful Stealth checks.
SURPRISE ROUND
Remi is up! Followed by Skeleton 2, then Damian, the Reaper of Bhaal, Skeleton 1, Skeleton 3, then Skeleton 4.
Note that those without surprise may still take reactions this round, but only after their turn has ended. Refer to the initiative list above to determine if your turn has passed or not. I will get a map posted as soon as I can.

(Going to be in a meeting and then in the lab for a while so I’m preposting. Sorry for low quality post. VERY busy day.)
Recoiling in pain, Samuel would attempt to staunch the flow of blood from his gut and stagger towards the group of Rhogarr, Damian, and Ranala, recalling that Ranala mentioned healing before. If able to reach the group, he will inform them of the situation behind them. If able to see a foe, Samuel will vicious mockery. Damage: 4
Remi instinctually swings his short sword down at the skeleton emerging from the water and then bonus action disengages from the skeletons and gets back out of the doorway towards the others, seeking strength in numbers. “Skeletons!”
Ignoring the fighting men on the small island, Damian turns to face the cultist Sam just warned them about. "She is invisible, look to the water for her movements." Damians says quickly and wades in behind Rhogarr, ready to blast the cultist as soon as she shows her ugly face again.
Movement: Wade away and bravely take cover behind Rhogarr. Ready action: Eldritch blast when Reaper of Bhaal becomes visible.

All - I will roll for Remi in the interest of saving time.
Remi DC 15 Acrobatics check: 4
Remi fumbles at the knot with shaking hands and fails to free himself from the tether.
Skeleton 2 will swing its shortsword at him.
Attack: 19 Damage: 6
The rusted blade drips brown water as it slashes a small but deep gash in his arm.
The above spoiler contains retconned information and is no longer relevant. Much like the fact that Boba Fett died in the Sarlac pit, but Disney now chooses to ignore that bit of information for the sweet, sweet, continued monetization of his character.
Skeleton 2 will give chase and slash at Ankita using the previous rolls and damage, 19 to hit for 3 damage.
Damian is up! Followed by the Reaper of Bhaal, then Skeleton 1 (Skeleton 1 still holds Remi's rope tightly in its bony grip)
Damian - The Reaper of Bhaal appears southwest of Ankita with its daggers raised, ready to drive them deeply into her back!
With the large wooden beams and allies in the way, she would have half-cover (+2 to AC and DEX Saves) from your attacks if they come from anywhere but within 5ft N, W, or S of her. Of course, this would then impose Disadvantage due to ranged attacks being made in melee range.

"NO, ANKITA!" Damian cries out as the cultist appears behind her, daggers raised. Damian reflexively and desperately tries to stop the cultist by blasting her with a beam of hellish red crackling force. (Using inspiration to hit and possibly warn Ankita.) Eldritch blast: 18 Force: 10 (I guess Damian doesn't have time to place hex on a readied action? Or move to a better position?)
Damian - Your eldritch blast lances across the room toward the Reaper of Bhaal, but its flight is cut short when it impacts a thick wooden beam. The entire room quakes and dirt drifts from the ceiling, but the beam holds. For now.
The Reaper of Bhaal will plunge both daggers downward toward Ankita's back.
Attack: 8 Damage: 6
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Both daggers are buried deeply in her back and the deadly aura surrounding the Reaper intensifies the severity of the wounds.
Ankita takes 30 points of damage from the attacks, thanks to the Reaper of Bhaal's Aura of Murder. She is DEAD.
Aura of Murder. As long as the reaper is not incapacitated, hostile creatures within 5 feet of it gain vulnerability to piercing damage unless they have resistance or immunity to such damage.
The daggers sever her spinal cord and several important arteries and veins as the Reaper of Bhaal twists them into her back. She falls to her knees with a bloody cry and the Reaper rips her daggers free, slinging Ankita's blood through the air. She then chuckles as she suddenly turns invisible, "Who's next dears?" Ankita falls into the filthy water and above her, the Wildfire Spirit flickers then fades. A moment later it is gone.
Ankita is DEAD. The damage inflicted by the Reaper was enough to drop her to zero hit points and the remaining damage was equal to or greater than her hit point maximum.
"Master Turnuroth, be careful as you continue, there may be a deranged florist ready to attack you with a lily behind any corner now." Damian says as they cautiously proceed through the concealed door, heading for the door to the right. Stealth: 19 Perception: 4
Ankita follows the rest through the secret door having her fox up with Rhogarr to help illuminate the way.
perception: 11
Ranala crinkles her nose in frustration at the mention that the florist could possibly be a cultist. "I am so sick of this." Ranala would mutter as she casts guidance upon herself to compinsate for the noisy armor she wore.

Guidance: 4
Samuel originally had intentions to help protect Ranala, but after seeing her proficiency with a whip and now seeing her donned in heavy armor…Samuel feels like maybe she should be protecting him.

Ranala would quickly nod to Damian and would follow his lead.
Damain would however not take the lead, instead ushering Mater Turnuroth on in the direction of the sounds of combat. ;-)

"You're strong Ankita, just drag him back here." Damain whispers back impatiently.
