Randy consults with Coljin. "I think he's in trouble. We need to get some fluids into him. I've got that amulet with the good berry spell on it. If we can get him to eat some, it'll help stabilize him until you and I can get some rest and do a proper job of healing him."
While Randy digs through his pack for the Amulet of Bountiful Expedience, he racks his brain to see if he's ever heard of this "Glory" that the dragon born are talking about.
Dornikal tries to keep Galt, Tren and himself distracted with talk about his early days in the caravan, meeting up in Korvesh and meeting the pair of them.
"Aye remember thinkin' ye were a tall one Galt, when Hagorth introduced us. Ye were friendly enough despite clearly being to high to get proper air. Tren quizzing meh on my caravan experience, and being a bit disappointed aye was green!"
He rambles on through Ren, Jhon, Hagorth, Del, Talish (free hand finding its way to her as he talks about her), Del, Benjo and the rest, he will included Jovin despite thinking him a rat. He will, without consciously meaning to do so, intermix Dumathoin into his discussions of the deceased caravaneers.
Coljin nods and listens carefully to Randerwaith while watching and assessing Galt carefully. He will assist (Help Action) Randy when he starts trying to figure out exactly what 'glory' is. "I remember a book that talked about a plant called 'May-Glorianny' that had some medicinal properties, I remember in grew mainly in dried out riverbeds. I'm not sure if that helps much, though".
(Coljin has 2-1st level slots and 1-2nd level slot left) He will monitor Galt carefully and will cast cure wounds if it gets to the point it is needed to help him survive, but he will not cast in right now, unless needed and see how the goodberry affects him.
Between the two of them conferring, and with input from the dragonborn providing a sample, they understand it to be ground and compacted material from a desert plant that brings on a state where the user no longer feels pain, and it limits bleeding. The dragonborn assisting them has not harvested the plant, it is something produced by other herbalists in the tribe. It is typically only administered in dire circumstances, but does take a while to take effect. You suspect the name may refer to it providing another shot at glory when death might have otherwise been the result. The euphoria and fever are not symptoms that they experience, however, the dragonborn attempts to convey that it does have side effects that they do experience, namely nausea and vomiting... which in a desert existence, may spell death on its own. It is one of the reasons they don't use it except in dire circumstances.
They had already given him what water could be spared, and bound his wound, but don't know how to handle his fever or heal him further. Had he been dragonborn, it would have served its purpose of getting him back in the fight.
Galt says he's not hungry, but Tren and Dornikal are able to convince him to eat the goodberry. There is perhaps a slight decrease in inflammation of his wound, but his fever remains unabated.

Moving closer to Randy, and being a bit discreet he says, "I am not sure that the spells I have are strong enough to help, diseases and poisons can be tricky. Let me try a restoration spell I have, be ready to give him water if he needs it."
Coljin then intones a prayer to Mielikki, asking for her help and stating how this Dwarf has been a stalwart ally and needs assistance." Casting 'Lesser Restoration'.
The half-orc is giggling and trying to tickle Coljin through his armor as the spell takes affect, his eyes go wide as he gasps in pain... And passes out.
He is still warm, but not the dry fever of before as he begins sweating. His bound stump begins oozing slightly.

"I think he will be ok. I think what the dragonborn gave him kept him alive until now, and I think the rest of our healing will pull him through. Though I have never dealt with anything like this." Coljin then will do another spell and cast 'cure wounds' on Galt.
The ragged stump seals over with new flesh, and Galt's breathing slows to a strong, steady rhythm. Tren moves to sit near him, brushing some sand from his cheek. She looks up at Coljin and mouths "Thank you".
You're confident that Galt will make it. Some fluids and food once he's conscious again would not go amiss, but the same could be said for all of you. The injured dragonborn in this party is will be fine, as will the others who went down into the mine with you. Those more fit ran with the party, while the less mobile stayed by the entrance with Ulmwin. After having conferred with those of you here, they have reformed and the more mobile moved out to sweep the surrounding area, and ensure that any more aimless bugs get put down before one of them decides that they ought to be the new queen.
There is nothing further pressing at the moment, we can say that between the party and the dragonborn, you are able to bring Galt and injured and dead dragonborn back to the entrance to the mine. The dragonborn will be making preparations to ritualistically burn their dead once it is night, heading back down to carry those who fell up to the surface, along with any dragonborn or other humanoid remains that were in the brood pods.
Some of those remains were in possession of goods or items at the time of their death, anything that is desert tribe in origin they hold onto, to return to family where possible, but they insist that you take anything that is not of their people, in addition to pushing gems on you. Dornikal's delight at being bathed in Dumathoin's precious glory is perhaps only dimmed by knowing that a good chunk of them will be going to repair the damage to Kreldoran's tower.

((If there's anything you'd like to do, say or prepare, feel free to do so. Think Coljin wanted to try to harvest sleep gland?))
Galt will wake in the late afternoon, feeling himself again (well, about 95% himself). He's a bit quiet and introspective, but is glad to be alive. Tren didn't leave his side, and once he's up, they both follow Dornikal, glad that they have all pulled through once again.
When night has fallen and things get cooler, the dragonborn will begin to gather themselves, and the Seer's granddaughter conveys via translation that they'd be honored if the party would join them in sending their brothers and sisters to the stars.

Dornikal would give Coljin a crushing hug and say, quietly, with a bit of a hitch in his voice,
"Good. Good. It wasn't Galt's time yet.Good."
Dornikal would have tried to mostly stay close to Galt and Tren as well, though try not to hover too much. He would help in gathering the non-dragonborn bits and spend time sorting Dumathoin's bounty by type, size and then by value. He does feel a bit mollified that even the most powerful of magic relies on gifts from the deep and hopes they won't all just be crushed into powder, which is knows wizards sometimes do.
Once Galt is awake again he'll check in on him and explain they will figure out a way to get him that arm back and relate some of the more choice things he said back to him.
Dornikal would gladly attend the ceremony, adding his own silent beseeching on behalf the souls of the brave dragonborn fallen.
Coljin will want to be at the ceremony, but he will stay busy beforehand trying to dissect the bug and get a sleep gland.
He will ask for assistance, asking for one or two, who might be willing to help with removing the right carapace areas. And also for Zokk to watch at a distance in case he has a mishap and causes himself to get gassed. (Is Zokk gas-proof?)
He also mentions to Dornikal, our gem expert, that we really need a few smaller diamonds so that he can cast revivify when needed for the party (300GP of diamonds per casting, can bring back a subject dead for less than minute)
Coljin finds willing hands among the dragonborn, and can make a Strength (Survival) check with advantage to get through the carapace, etc to where he might be able to access any source of the sleeping gas, then a Dexterity (Medicine) check with advantage to locate and excise any relevant structures. If there is anyone with better abilities or skills relevant to the task, you could potentially recruit them to make the check instead.

Dornikal would dutifully sort a pile of diamonds worth , in his estimation, slightly more than 300 gold. You never know which precious stone market a god is going to check and it'd be a shame to be off by a few!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Coljin thanks the dragonborn (and Zokk) effusively who are willing to assist, and he will work on doing most of the work with his hands. He begins by cutting and prying the carapace off, and then slicing deeper with more precision, to remove organs and sacs. Before beginning all of his chopping he makes a request for a blessing for his goddess.

Coljin is able to work his way down through the Queen bug to some glandular sacs in her mouth. He discovers a pair of sacks leading to a joined orifice, the larger one resembles a wineskin in size and shape, while the smaller one joins it right before a larger, muscular chamber. He's pretty sure that's where the gas is produced and expelled after combining the contents of the two glands. He manages to excise the glands without damaging them, and uses some cord to cinch the necks of both glands. It might take some experimenting to extract the components and determine an optimal delivery system, but a small scale test confirms that mixing the two secretions produces a gas identical to what send Dornikal to sleep.
Dornikal is in his element, and Tren and the recovering Galt assist him in sorting and polishing gems, though Galt will occasionally reach for something with his left arm, only chuckle wryly to himself and use his right.
((Man, can you imagine being in a game where the DM says that the market value on diamonds has plummeted and what you have on hand is only worth 295 gold, so the spell fails? From among the remains of what may have once been caravaners, adventurers or other travelers, you gather a fair bit of usable currency and items in addition to the gems that are set aside for Kreldoran's tower repairs.
Loot List:
Among various pouches: 129 platinum, 317 gold, 386 silver, and 104 copper
A sizeable, sealed metal ewer that weighs 30 or more pounds
What appears to be a simple, empty grey cloth pouch, a hands span across, but it remains clean despite the mess it was found in
A set of reed pipes with engravings of rats or mice chasing one another up and a cross the pipes
A black cloak that has an almost leathery appearance, but is thin and supple, and hangs in soft folds when held up
Assorted jewelry and art objects that can be sold for a sizable sum, but none of them jump out as being magical or otherwise interesting beyond the craftsmanship that went into them
The dragonborn bear the remains of their fallen to the highest elevation everyone can get to, and lay their fallen on the sand. Those still living position themselves in a circle around the dead, interspersing the party among them, and joining hands. Before their ceremony begins, the dragonborn next to Zokk leans over to speak to them.
"Fire you do not like. But safe you will be, it is our fire. Good fire. Will take our fallen to the stars. Want you to be here, to witness. Is great honor, and we are honored."
They extend a hand and take Zokk's branch, the dragonborn around the circle joining hands with each other and the party. There's a moment of awkwardness until the dragonborn on Galt's left places a hand on his shoulder and gives him a nod. As the swath of stars above glint in the deep black of the desert night sky, they begin chanting, a simple but melodic refrain, and by squeezing your hands, encourage the party to join in, despite it not being in a language most of you speak, you're able to join in.
For Randy and Zokk, you understand it to be a simple statement.
We are here. We remain.
The chanting softens, as various dragonborn take it in turn to sing of those who have fallen, their comrades in arms, tasked with this harrowing mission against the usurpers of their people's lands.
We are here. We remain.
They hand off the song to the other dragonborn, singing about those they came here with who will not be going back, as well as those who were in the mine when it was overrun initially.
We are here. We remain.
They sing of the Ones Foretold, raising the hands of the party as they do, and how you were here when their great nation will begin.
We are here. We remain.
They sing of all the generations that have come before, who held to the Prophecies, who sacrificed for future generations, just as those who fell this day did, and just as they will one day. But for now...
We are here. We remain.
The song stops.
The ten remaining dragonborn each draw in a deep breath, the ones on either side of Zokk squeezing their branches to give them a heads up before each dragonborn exhales a gout of flame that washes over the remains in the center, the flames not reaching the dragonborn or party in the ring. They release hands and step back, as do you, as the pyre of fallen burns bright and hot in the cool desert night, the smoke form the fire drifting up to get lost against the dark of the sky
You remain with them until the last flames have gone out, and all that remains is ash and sand.
It has been a long, trying, exhausting day, and you all walk solemnly back to the mine, to rest and long awaited sleep.
((If you've any RP you wish to drop, by all means have at it, but the party can all level up to 6 when you wake up in the morning!))
