Pepper waits for the expected people to start, and nods along with Caelyn's questions. "Who gets to carry Pernach's crate in that plan?" she laughs, then makes a mock face of outrage. "Oh, sure, Pepper's all muscles, Pepper can do it, Pepper can you open this jar?" She smiles, then goes on. "I don't think the big guy needs to be in a crate, though, they saw him, and surely would expect him to be with us, guarding our Lady's goods."
(2. How to handle Lars)
"We'll need to get into the room with the paintings somehow, and I doubt Lars will be leaving us alone, so we'll either have to subdue him, or bring him over. I'm not the trusting sort, and people who flip can flip back, so I'm for subduing him. I can do it," she says, she's nothing if not confident. "But we'll need to do it in our private room. Once he's down, we can get into the room with the paintings and do what we need to."
(3. How to escape)
"Then, when we're done, we stroll out before the other guards can ask any questions. Once the deed is done, there's no need to keep pretending, so having the others out of the crates is better for anything unexpected. If we have to fight our way out, we do minimum damage and disappear."

Alright no people in cratesCaelyn says a bit disappointed. (since Ashe is away ill assume we know he has a disguise kit).
Kira and Ashe should be disguised to make sure Lars doesnt notice us to quickly. That way everyone can be in the open. Thats how we can all get in.
She walks around a bit pondering again, racking her brain to see what to do with Lars. We could knock him out but we would have to keep him with us untill Minovitas's guards pick up the paintings, otherwise it could ruin everything.
We can take him in a crate, im sure they have small carts to load that we could use for it. And keep him somewhere for a day or so.
She nods to herself. Yes Ashe can lure him inside our storage space when Pepper, Pernach and Cyril are inside storing things being the muscle. She eyes each compagnion as she says their name. Kira and myself will be on the outside keeping watch. Kira will act as as overseer of our workforce since she is too small to carry much herself.
Caelyn pauzes a moment. Some of us will need to remain at the storage space in case a patrol shows up asking questions. Meanwhile the others will take care of the paintings and we will walk out afterwards with Lars covered in some cloth or a crate.
Caelyn looks up at the others again, Are we in agreement?
“Hm,” Pepper demures. “I think we do still need a crate on the way out, for Lars. I hadn’t thought that he might give the game away and let the lord just change the game. We need the paintings delivered. But he’ll be missed, too, and they’ll check all the rooms…”
”Do we need to ensure the painting makes it to the exhibition? We’d need to bring Lars in on it, then. I can seduce him,” she offers, still confident as always. “He has kind eyes.”
"I think we shouldn't try for any eliminations, nonlethal or otherwise. Guards that get knocked unconscious often report to their superiors that it happened, then suspicion is thrown back on us. It would certainly be easier to deal with Lars if he were not unconscious if he's going to be our escort. Perhaps it's best for us to hoodwink him, with either Pepper or myself working up a distraction while the rest of us get things sorted. Then there's the two other guards in the warehouse. Since we have legitimate business, there's a chance they may leave us alone if we act like we know what we're doing."
"Worth a try. As for Lars... well, what if, for example, someone 'hears' something off in the warehouse, and suddenly goes running off after it, with Lars in tow?" Cyril taps a finger thoughtfully. "Something like 'Did you hear that? I think there's an intruder! Come on Lars!' And then just takes off and leads him on a wild goose chase for a while. Then while he's distracted either trying to catch our 'hunter' or the imaginary intruder, we can do what we need to do without his being around to notice."
In reply to Peppers question Caelyn shrugs with a smile Im sure we can find a way inside. Not sure how much time it would take though.
Lars should not have his focus on the storage units. Suddenly Caelyns head tilts up and she speaks out again After moving a few crates i could ask Ashe and Pepper to take a break, then you could play a dicegame with him. It would be more entertaining than watching crates being unloaded and he would still be near enough to ease his mind, just out of sight.
Perhaps 12 horses? she says looking at Pepper to remember the game they used to play (which might be a known game)
"We'll need at least one crate, for the supposed goods we are bringing, so maybe one for the sabotage items and the replacement painting, and one for..." Pepper looks at Kira. "Not to put you in a box because you're small, but we might need you as a surprise element."

"Dicing could be a good idea. I've yet to see a worker or guard who didn't like a game of chance to liven up their night. And the more crates we have the better, I think. The more time we spend unloading them, the longer some of us might have to work at the goal."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With a plan more than half-baked, the intrepid party collects the few items they need to pull off their ploy and gain access to the warehouse after hours. True enough, Lars responds to the door when you knock and lets you in. He watches patiently, even offering to help since you "...paid him more than the skinflint owner of this place..." Once all of the boxes or crates are in, Pepper and Ashe are dismissed by the lady Caelyn so she can organize her goods in the storage space.
These two entice Lars towards the center of the warehouse, where they have a decent view of the entire interior but still keep Lars' kind eyes from seeing their true objective - the locked storage space with the paintings. Offering to play at dice, the small group sets to in a friendly match. It only takes about two or three hands for the other guards to come over to see what the excitement is and join in the fun!
Lars bets a couple of silver and rolls the dice: 4 & 1. "Hmmm..." he muses. "I'll try my luck and toss another."5 "Hah! 12! Beat that!" he says with a boisterous grin.
“You threw a gold into a temple bowl tonight for that kind of luck!” Pepper declares, laughing. She gives Lars a friendly shove, not too hard, but she’s trying to suss out his strength and quickness if she should need to know. Insight: 20
She gathers up the dice, and rolls: 2 and 4
Her face lights up at the roll. “Even I know I get a risk free roll now!” she says, playing dumb. She rolls one more: 6
“Ha!” Now she gives Lars a real shove, but grabs him to keep him from going off his stool.
Cyril waits what he feels to be a decent amount of time, long enough for the guards to become involved in the dice game and thus distracted from whatever else might be happening. Peering out of their own storage room, he nods to himself. "Alright, they seem good and involved. Let's hope they stay that way. Shall we?" Together with the others who are going, he begins to make his way out in search of their target, doing his damndest not to be seen or heard in the process.
(Others going to sneak to Lord Minovitas' space, roll Stealth - we'll do a group check on that. Then I need someone to pick the lock with thieves' tools - hopefully someone has proficiency with these?)
Lars laughs at Pepper's shove, then looks to Ashe for his rolls... (Do we bet each round - like poker, maybe bet more if you're doing well, or fold and get out before losing any more? The pot right now is four silvers - 2 from Lars and 2 from Pepper...)
Caelyn notices Cyril taking the chance to continue their mission and quickly glances around before following him. Instinctively she tries to grab her hood to pull up but since she is wearing regular clothes her fingers grab only air.
When finding the door to Minovitas's storage she does however reach into her small handbag shufflying aside some things to reach her thieves tools. She looks to Cyril to see if he judges her for having these kind of tools and brushes it off with a casual shrug and mimics the word 'what?''
Taking out a lockpick she focusses, narrowing her eyes and letting the lockpick do the work. Her tongue slighly sticking out between her lips as she fiddles the pick around.

"Doubt I'll get as lucky as you two, but hey, worth a shot, right?"Ashe says as he shakes the dice in his cupped hands. "What's that they say in the gambling dens of Sharn? 'Big money, no whammies,' or something like that?"
4 and 3
Ashe will then take his second roll, hoping for a result of 12 to tie the game.

"Well, Sovereigns and Six, looks like that's a 12. Luck's on all our sides - for now!"
Lars laughs loudly, picks up the dice, and tosses another silver in the pot. "I'm feeling good about this, even though you had a hot hand there...Give me the CHEESE!" he says and tosses the dice on the barrel top serving as a makeshift table. 2 and 5. "Yeah - gonna add to that!" He rolls once more. 4 "Yep - one more time!"2
"HAHAHA!!! I knew it was my lucky night!" He exclaims and passes the dice to Pepper. Lars' enthusiastic voice attracts the other two guards, interested in the action in the center of the warehouse...
(OK - the guards are pretty well distracted, but so far only Caelyn and Cyril are in Minovitas' room with the paintings. Anybody else going to help out with the ole swap-a-roo needs to roll a stealth check. Caelyn easily picked the lock. Next, everyone doctoring the paintings needs to make a skill check for each painting you want to alter. Arcana if you use 1 of the 2 scrolls of erase; Deception or Persuasion to use the one scroll of permanent illusion; Sleight of Hand to replace a portrait with the one Morilla gave you; or Perception to use the paints to alter a portrait yourself. There are six total portraits in the room. Altering any painting takes 10 minutes. Each round of the dice game takes about 5 minutes. Go =)

Pepper groans at Lars' luck. "Am I going to regret this in the morning?" she asks Ashe. "Most likely." She shakes her head and picks up the dice, dropping another silver into the pot.
She blows theatrically on the dice, and rolls: 1 and 6
"By the ghosts of my mother's lovers!" she curses, but she shakes her head With his two 12s (and the bonus 4 points for each) Lars has 32 points. "You've already won, so there's no reason for me not to roll."
She picks one die up and holds it out to Lars. "I don't suppose you'll blow on it to give it some of that luck you're flaunting?"
Regardless, she rolls it: 4
"Ah. Well, I've never seen such luck, and I demand the chance to win my coin back. I mean, after you lose, too," she says to Ashe.
