Cyrnair whispers, with much agitation, "Just a second Caradoc, real quick." he says "Listen I am not going to argue with her but it's just that she seems to ignore whatever I say on purpose. I asked twice Ennis if he can make the rest flight, twice... and she asks me why I ask for the fly spell? for Flint, Gelin and you of course! Have you heard her answer? " I don't need it..." She gets my out of myself I admit but as I said I am not going to argue with her when we are about to fight a dragon or something worse. We cannot fail Caradoc, not only Grundens Calling depend on us. I have the feeling that more innocent lifes are at stake here."
The halfling lays a hand on his friend's forearm and replies, "I hear you, brother. Really, I do. But we need her and she doesn't need us. She could just walk away at any time - we've already told her everything we know about the portals in the area, in the hopes that it would gain us a measure of trust. That didn't work, and now we have nothing to keep her here but curiosity and treasure. We need her - and if Morgan and Frixori are caught up in this Feywild business, then Gundren's Calling needs her too. Trust your oath - trust your friends - trust that the Morninglord and Lady Silverhair are with us in this quest. We will win her over with their aid... Remember how much of a jerk I was when you first met me??" Caradoc grins broadly and slaps the paladin's arm.
Cyrnair continues, "So you don't have to worry about me. I will fight alongside her, defend her and die to protect her as I would do for any of you. And you be extra careful when you scout inside that lair... I have the feeling that we are walking into a trap."
Caradoc nods, still grinning and hoping the smile makes it all the way to his eyes, because he really does agree that this whole arrangement feels like Visarai's doing... "Careful is my middle name, buddy. Caradoc Careful Langham - that's me! This is what I do..."
Cyrnair turns and walks away back where the rest of the party is taking out the ice trying to ignore the creature that had guided them there.
Caradoc stays for an extra few moments, then murmurs again (to himself as much as anyone else), "This is what I do..."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ky goes up right after him, still maintaining her PWaT, and trying to keep Carodoc in it as well. 29 (I should have 10 minutes left right? Because of silence ritual.)
Flint follows them up the ladder. Before Ky'lera gets too far ahead, he grabs her by the hand and mouths, "Be careful!" The cleric waits at the top rung in case they should run into trouble. He keeps his head on a swivel knowing that he has to rely on only his sight from this position.
(Carodoc rolled a 32 then if Ky follows. You're PWaT is still up. It's less then 10 minutes now, after melting and prying. Got are getting short on time with your spell.)
Carodoc, as you and Ky pop or of the hole got look around and don't see or hear much more then what Cyrnair described. You do notice there was a staircase but it has since collapsed. Instead there is a rickety group of boards that seems to have been tacked in place from the missing portion of stairs, and a ladder to the second floor. It also looks as though there is light streaming in from the north section of the tower, where the ice has replaced the floor. If you had to guess, the is probably a large hole in that section of the wall.
Realizing you cant hear anything because the bubble, you step out of it. Stepping out, you are hit with a barrage of sounds. Bells ringing. You hear a reptilian voice booming, "and I want an answer in 5 minutes, or you will be frozen in place."
While the bells continue, there is what sounds like a pause from the voice, before it resumes. "I don't care if she left you here to supervise. 2 of my Guard Drakes went missing a week ago, and now many of my mauraders are dead, 2 of my Dragonborn children are missing, and the Guard Drakes are doing nothing! I want answers!"
In a louder voice it tells. The room shakes, as the voice travels throughout the ruins, "and stop ringing those bells. We all know something is going on! Stop wasting time and bring me answers!"
Slowly the bells stop ringing, and the ceiling shakes with heavy footfalls . "You are supposed to supervise... well... supervise before I eat you."
“Its kind of the thing Caradoc does...” replies the paladin looking up. It’s obvious that he is impatient to see his friend again. He trust in Caradocs skills but he is worried and have a very bad feeling about this.
Ky goes back to the hole and reaches her hand down to give a thumbs up and wave everyone up, knowing that the sound is still blocking them. She pops her head down and mouths "hurry".
Coming back up, she goes back to Carodoc. "I think they found the bodies... or at least the lack of riders. Good news is I bet they are mostly out there looking for us." She whispers
OOC: dm... the door is closed, but it is not locked? Is that piece of wood thing the door brace or something?
Ky sighs (silently) in the bubble. Hopping down into the access point, she moves out of the bubble, "Whats up Flint? I think the Dragon knows something is up, but if we are going to attack it, I think now is the best time to do it. The moon is with us my friend!"
Flint holds up a hand, "Patients, Lera. This won't take long. You will get to sink an arrow into something soon enough. Just a few preparations to be made, and I didn't want to be overheard casting them above." He takes a few moments and begins asking for the blessings of Artemis and the moon. He begins to wave his hands back and forth between Ky'Lera, Cyrnair and Ennis, all of which suddenly feel a bit more invigorated. (Aid)
He turns to Gelin then, "Also, was there anything you can do to bolster us beforehand?"
Please, mark all these HP changes if you haven't done so on your sheets. I don't want to have to keep track of everyone's HP on the side to see who needs healing.
OOC: Also, remember to add your 9 temporary HP if you can find a way to have been inspired by Caradoc

Before Ky climbs back up, she looks to Flint, Gelin and Cyrnair. "You all look strong. There is a bar near the door we can use to block off the entrance. Buy us a minute or 2 if we set it. I will guide you over to keep it quiet. Lets move though. I think we only have a few minutes before all goes straight to the Raven Queen."
(NeoMagus you are right.. I made a mistake on the STR check it should have been plus4 not 5 sorry! Shouldn’t post so lately :) )
Cyrnair goes down again and motion his hands to tell the others that everything is ok for now and motions to Caradoc to go up.
(I think that we can go up but let’s no change the plans and don’t move until our scout says the coast is clear)

Caradoc winks at the group as he scampers up the ladder, jade dagger in his teeth.
He stops at the top of the ladder, before his head pops out of the tunnel. He rises slowly and scans the room from his vantage point.
Perception: 6
If he doesn't see anything more than the description above, he will move away from the tunnel and out of the globe of silence.

Down below, Ennis looks to Gelin and Cyrnair while waiting for any sort of signal from Flint.
"So...think they've found anything interesting up there?"
“Its kind of the thing Caradoc does...” replies the paladin looking up. It’s obvious that he is impatient to see his friend again. He trust in Caradocs skills but he is worried and have a very bad feeling about this.

Yes, it looks like the door swing I ward, and there is a cross beam that can be used to block it. The door is closed, not locked.
The beam looks pretty heavy as well.
Before Ky'Lera runs back off, Flint attempts to signal her to get Caradoc and return below.
Ky sighs (silently) in the bubble. Hopping down into the access point, she moves out of the bubble, "Whats up Flint? I think the Dragon knows something is up, but if we are going to attack it, I think now is the best time to do it. The moon is with us my friend!"
"Knowing caradoc, he'll come back having befriended a dragon."
Gelin gives a hearty laugh attempting to lighten the mood.

Going to make a bunch of rolls, so I can narrate the events. Depending on the first sets, it may impact the others.
Stealth Checks to get out of the tunnel
As the group makes it up...
Stealth checks to make it to the door & Checks to lock the door
Checks to lift the beam: 17 Group roll of the 3 of them + a small bonus
