The group exchange glances and Kara gives answer.

"We accept."

"You have my thanks. Perhaps the best place to start would be the tap house. The Sleeping Giant I believe it is called... I understand that it is something of a gathering place for the Redbrands. Oh and before I forget."

Sildar reaches into his tunic and throws a small coin pouch to Kara.

"It is a paltry amount but the best I could do in a pinch. The Alliance will continue to cover your stay at the Inn of course."

"Thank you. Well there is no time like the presence. Let's go visit the tap house."

"The Lady's luck go with you, and should you see sign of Iarno my lost companion, please bring me word. I will personally stake a 200 gold reward on that task. My friend is a short, dark-bearded human in his thirties. He is a wizard of some power."

Redbrand Ruffians

The Sleeping Giant is a ramshackle taproom at the east end of town. Four human ruffians linger on the covered porch, perched on empty ale barrels or leaning against the wall. They all wear grimy scarlet cloaks, their sullen stares fixed on you as you approach.

One of the thugs spits on the ground. “Well, well,” he snarls. “Here’s a whole pack of little puppies. What do you want, puppies? Come here to bark at us?”

"Your days of terrorising this town are at an end Redbrand. Turn yourselves in and we will be save you from the noose."

"You clearly don't know who your talking to girl. I suppose we had best teach you some manners."

Kara uses her reaction to try to shield Vishka from damage.

Blink darts in to attack one of the bandits fighting Vishka, Attack: 18 Damage: 8 and Attack: 8 Damage: 4

Melandra sends a fire bolt toward the same ruffian. Attack: 18 Damage: 2

Kara swings or her opponent Attack: 16 Damage: 6

Griell brings her weapon down toward her opponent Attack: 17 Damage: 8 and burns an action surge to attack again Attack: 10 Damage: 8

Vishka casts shield of faith on herself and swipes for one of the men with her mace Attack: 23 Damage: 5

The leader swings for Kara Attack: 8 Damage: 7 and  21 Damage: 3 

Two of them make for Vishka Attack: 8 Damage: 8 and  8 Damage: 6; Attack: 17 Damage: 6 and Attack: 18 Damage: 7

The last one swings for Griell Attack: 11 Damage: 4 and  7 Damage: 7 

Kara uses her reaction to try to shield Vishka from damage.

 Vishka falls to the ground unconscious.

She eviscerates her opponent!

 "Noooo!"

Attack: 23 Damage: 8 and Attack: 7 Damage: 7 

She hacks into her opponent with a blind fury killing him in seconds.

"Damn it! Protect Vishka."

Attack: 21 Damage: 2

She blows the head off of the man who downed Vishka.

 "That was a big mistake!"

Attack: 18 Damage: 4

She brings down her glaive, almost slicing her opponent down the middle!

 Vishka failed her death saving throw.
