"Fine, sorry."

Blink heads back to keep an eye on the cultists and the others move forward toward the town square.

On the east side of town, the lane opens up to form a small square. Several ruined buildings surround the south side of the square, but a larger, intact structure to the north looks like a barracks. One lane leads southeast, another heads southwest around the hill in the middle of the town, and a third way meanders north. In the middle of the square, leaning to one side ever so slightly, is a weathered wooden statue of a warrior clutching a spear and shield.

 "Who's he?"

Griell points toward the statue.

 Reidoth peers over.

"It depicts an old hero of Neverwinter named Palien, who supposedly defeated several monsters in Neverwinter Wood when Thundertree was first founded."

 Melandra inspects the statue.

INV 18 but finds nothing special about it.

They head north to inspect the final building. The barracks appears to have weathered the years better than most buildings in town. Its rooftop features a simple battlement, and arrow-slit windows confirm that it was built to serve as a small keep in times of emergency.

 Back at the southern end of the ruins Blink watches the cultists.

They are arguing about something.

There is a sharp scream as the leader stabs one of his followers in the chest. The rest gather round then and they talk in hushed whispers.

 Melandra send cat into the garrison. 

After a few moment, "More zombies."

She begins to prepare her spells.

 ROUND 1

Kara rushes in and hacks into the closest zombie Attack: 7 Damage: 7

Unfortunately the body she swings at is just a corpse.

"Damn." the zombies start to shift around her.

 Griell runs in, glaive swinging.

Attack: 24 Damage: 13

 Melandra sends in a fire bolt

Attack: 19 Damage: 9

Zombie CON 7 She blows the head off the wounded zombie.

 Reidoth conjures a ball of flame and hurtles it in toward the zombies.

Attack: 13 Damage: 2

 Vishka runs in, mace swinging.

Attack: 10 Damage: 7

 To the south, Blink watches as the cultists gather their belongings.

 Kara swings with Talon.

Attack: 17 Damage: 10

 Griell swings again.

Attack: 10 Damage: 12

 Another fire bolt from Melandra

... and a ball of flame from Reidoth

Attack: 7 Damage: 2

 Vishka lets fly with her mace

Attack: 8 Damage: 5

 Two zombies attack Kara 

Attack: 5 Damage: 6 and Attack: 23 Damage: 8

One attacks Vishka Attack: 7 Damage: 3, Kara uses her shield to defend her.

And the last attacks Griell Attack: 20 Damage: 7

 The cultists draw weapons and head north toward the party.

ROUND 3 : 5 vs 17

The Cultists advance toward the village square.

 The zombie attack again.

Kara Attack: 5 Damage: 6 and Attack: 6 Damage: 6 

Griell Attack: 18 Damage: 2

Vishka Attack: 6 Damage: 4
