(Okay guys, irl stuff is starting to simmer down! Here I go.)
Eline breathes a sigh of relief as the mule is rescued, and a health potion is given to the party for Kha. During the ordeal with rescuing the poor beast, Eline had striven to aid Trem, Roxi, and Reginald by splitting her mage hand into two smaller versions of itself, and holding the knots that were tied fast. Not the strongest in the bunch, she wasn't able to climb down and do what the others were doing, but she did her best, and what she absolutely could!
The elven Glassblade helps Kha drink the potion. Giving him sips so he doesn’t spill any.
”Let’s not do that again, Kha. You had me all worried that we lost you!”
She looks to Willoughby, “Thank you for offering a health potion. It is greatly appreciated. As you are on your return to Palebank Village, we would be glad to escort you the rest of the way so you don’t need to worry about another incident like earlier.
May I ask from where you are coming from? And how much are your health potions per bottle. They may come in handy in the future? Do you have any other wares for sale?”
As Roxaria speaks with Willoughby, Eline does something she has not done for a while: she pulls out her sketchbook, and begins sketching and drawing, though her mage hand does the work as she absently holds the book in one hand. The mage hand scribbles and draws. She is silent for the most part, content to just stand and draw. Trem is close by, and she steals glances at him every so often. She also steals glances at Reginald, sketching his gnomish features to as exact proportion as she can in her book.
She then looks to WIlloughby, and begins sketching his aged face, as well as his beloved Melly. Eline is lost in the art. Oh, it had been some time since she'd drawn!
Eline splits her mage hand in two again, and this time, one holds the book, while the other draws. She looks to Trem, and flashes a brilliant smile at him. "So," she says, "look at you, Mister! Rescuing mules and being all genuine!" She rests a hand on his arm in reassurance and admiration. "I'd almost say you're being a goody-two-shoes!" She chuckles.
Willoughby responds. "I will take you up on your offer and travel with you to Palebank village. I came out to supply an old friend of mine that wanders around these parts. After saying my goodbyes I made my way to Palebank village." He looks through the pack on Melly. "Well since you saved me and Melly, I am willing to part with the potions for 15 gold each. I sell an assortment of items, but nothing exotic I am afraid. Is there any item your looking to buy"
Willoughby opens his large overstuffed pack and its filled with basic items and adventuring gear
The cool breeze tickles the grass upon Kha's face as he wakens. The last thing the orc remembers is the pain from the goblin's strike and then nothing. Not moving his head, his eyes scan the skies above. Is this Arborea? He let's out a contented sigh. At least I went down fighting.
A figure then appears eclipsing the sun from above, offering him a drink. Kha's lips reach eagerly for the glass, taking in the warming nectar. The healing properties of the potion some take effect and the orc's eyes are able to focus.
"R-roxy..?" he voice a bit hoarse. He slowly turns his head and sees his companions gathered around the nearby sinkhole. "Where are we?"
“We’re safe. Battered, but safe. The merchant we rescued from the goblin riders is on his way to Palebank, I’d say we’re still quite a distance from Palebank Village. I’d surmise we may have to spend the night out here after losing so much time between that fight we got into and rescuing Melly, Willoughby’s mule.”
Roxy holds a hand out to Kha and braces herself to help him to his feet. “Kord likes you, Kha. Or, at least he likes the company you’re keeping to ensure we all hit true and win that fight.”
“Willoughby, I can afford one of those healing potions, if you’d be so kind to sell it to me.”
Roxaria digs into a pouch tied securely around her belt and counts out 15 gold. She exchanges it for one bottle with Willoughby.
”I think we should try to make as much ground as we can towards Palebank while we still have light and decent weather. Kha, are you feeling okay to move on your own?
Eline's split mage hands continue to sketch and draw various objects and items throughout the area--trees, bushes, rocks, small animals, etc. She smiles once more at Trem as he busily searches for some new armor. Eline turns to Reginald then, and says, "You know, without your clever and well-thought-out plan, we would have had a hell of a time trying to rescue Melly. Gods, I envy your spellcraft, Reginald. A lot of my own powers are innate, so they're somewhat limited. You seem to have a large grasp on magical awareness and practice. I admire that."
Kha fights back a groan as he hoists himself to his feet with Roxaria's aid. He steps lightly as he tests his abilities before giving Roxaria a nod. "Yeah, I think it will be good to walk off the rest of the soreness I'm feeling."
Willoughby takes Roxaria's coin and hands her the healing potion "Here you are a nice healing potion". He looks at Trems armor with an analytical eye"Alright I will take it. Taking into account the traded leather, its 40 gp"
Trem can try to haggle the price down with a persuasion check
Eline chuckles. "Well, I guess it was a luck of the draw this time. It's not something I can do all the time. Twinning probably wouldn't be the right word for it though..." She thinks for a moment, tapping her chin. "Maybe 'splitting' is a better word for it? Anyway, it takes a lot of hard concentrating effort to do so. I don't know if I could replicate it. At least not easily."
Willoughby responds. "I will take you up on your offer and travel with you to Palebank village. I came out to supply an old friend of mine that wanders around these parts. After saying my goodbyes I made my way to Palebank village."
”That’s nice of you. I’m sure your friend appreciates that. What does your friend do for a living that keeps him out here wandering these parts?”
Kha fights back a groan as he hoists himself to his feet with Roxaria's aid. He steps lightly as he tests his abilities before giving Roxaria a nod. "Yeah, I think it will be good to walk off the rest of the soreness I'm feeling."
”I’m glad to see you standing, Kha. Do me a favor and let’s not let that happen again.”

Trem will look for some studded leather. (Is it 45gp?)

Say Willoughby, how much for this Studded Leather? And can I throw in my old Leather? I won't need it anymore if you sell this nice piece!

Reginald beams at Eline "Well, I'm impressed that you are able to twin you spell so readily... my current training will not allow me to do that."
Cats go Moo!

Trem is glad he can trade in his old Leather, but thinks there's room to save a bit more gold.
Come on Willoughby, can't you help out an Elf a bit?
Trem puts a hand on the shoulder of the trader and gives him a warm smile.

"Alright, 30 gp and not a copper lower" replied Willoughby
Trem tries to hide that he's surprised! That's a good deal!
Thank you! You're a good man!
He hands over 30 gp and takes of his Leather. Trem hurries to put the Studded Leather on. It feels like it's getting a lot colder.
