Roxaria sees how adamant Trem is and nods, backing off. “If you insist, Trem. I’ll stay top-side and help the crew clean up this mess.”
Roxaria heads over to the deceased Pirate Captain to see if there is anything on him, such as any intelligence to share with the Captain of the Remorhaz or anything that might help lead the group to finding a cure.
"Either way, best thing we need to do is get her out of this cold." Kha kneels and easily scoops up Eline. After placing her in her in a bed, he places a reassuring hand on Trem's shoulder. "She'll be alright. Maybe a little sore when she wakes, but her wounds will heal with a bit more time."
The orc returns above to help clean up the deck.
(Kha will cast guidance on whoever wants to search the mage and other pirate. I would like to take the longsword from the other pirate if no one objects.)
Its a grisly task as you help lift the dead, before sliding them into the cold embrace of the ocean. You see deck hands pulling out mops and buckets as they swab the deck of blood and gore.
Some of the crew are distraught over the lost of a friend and are silently weeping as they work.
Bellow deck you hear the sound of carpentry tools as the crew tries to repair the damage from the ship ramming the Remorhaz. They stand in ankle deep water as the ship has sprung a leak.
Captain Hattic walks over and asks Kha "Can you say a prayer for those we lost on this grim day?"For a moment she seems older than she is and a flicker of sadness passes over her face. Afterwards she is back as the resolute captain of the Remorhaz.
Roxaria carefully opens the sealed letter to inspect the contents inside. After reading the contents, she takes the healing potions below decks and gives them to Trem. “Here. I found these on the Captain you killed. This should get you and Eline feeling proper in no time, or, at least, a good keepsake to hold onto in case we get into another scrap like that.”
The letter is a contract between the pirates and M. Ryger. The pirates are suppose to deliver a crate to the docks in Eiselcross through discreet means.
Roxaria reads the contract several times before her eyes glaze over in a blank stare.
“Pleased to meet your acquaintance. My name is Eline Rygr…”
She reads it again before looking up at the empty, frozen sky…
”Who is he?”.
“He…is Mikhail. And he was my father…”
Roxaria blinks, refocusing her eyes on the horizon and then back at the letter. “M. Rygr… Mikhail Rygr? Eline?!”. Her eyes widen in realization and she stuffs the letter back into the envelope and tucks it beneath the folds of her clothes. She weaves through the busy crew looking for Reginald.
“Reggie…” she holds up the envelope she found on the dead Captain. “You gotta read this. It is a contract between that Pirate Captain and… and… I think Eline’s father.” she passes the contract to Reggie for him to look over.
Eline groans and half awake feels someone's hand holding hers. She grips as hard as she can, trying to ground herself in reality. She has no idea how much time has passed. Last thing she remembered was bleeding out. She tries to rest some more. Gods,, but she was tired...
Without another thought about it, Eline wraps her arms around the back of Trem's neck, and pulling him to her, kisses him full on the mouth. She does not let go. Not once. Not ever...
She reluctantly parts from him for a moment, whispering to him so only he can hear. "Stay with me, Trem...like this." She pulls him again into an embrace, the kiss she draws him into deeper than before.
Trem gives Eline a Healing Potion. He insist that she drinks it. Once she does he says:
That was pretty reckless Eline... I'm not judging you, I just want you to be save. But I know you are capable of defending yourself. I want you to have this, it helps with... being reckless.
While Roxaria is with Reginald sharing the contract she found, she spies Kha picking up the longsword and motions for him to come over as well, “Kha, I found this on the Pirate Captain. It’s signed by an M. Rygr. I think that is Eline’s father. Now, I don’t know if her attacking the Captain recklessly was coincidence or with intent; however, I don’t know if it is a good idea to share this information… at least until she is feeling better. It may put her in shock. I know she hates her father and this might not be good for her mental acuity. If you have any wisdomly advice to impart, either of you, I’d like to hear it.”
Eline pouts slightly at parting from Trem. She gratefully takes the healing potion in full. "I...I know it was reckless. I just...Trem, I wish I was more powerful. I feel so useless, sometimes...okay, most of the time. I'm sorry. I just want to be helpful to you all." She looks up into Trem's eyes, gently stroking his jawline, and gratefully taking the dagger. "Especially you."
"Of course,"Kha replies to the captain. The orc sets his weapons aside and pulls his hood over his head to hedge out the cold. He begins to walk among the bodies that the crew has has laid out before they are set off on their final journey. The cleric pulls out his small prayer book and begins reciting a short prayer over the dead.
Storm Lord, hear me as you watch over the seas and the storm. Call these souls to your home, where the brave shall live forever. Where your enemies have been vanquished. We will not mourn but rejoice, for those have died the glorious death.
With the prayers finished, Kha returns to the body of the fallen pirate that was attacking Reginald and unlashes the sword for the dead body. As Roxaira approaches with the letter he looks it over and stops to ponder on the situation. "Well, what ever was driving her to end that pirate seems to be well-place. I'm not one that would keep someone from seeking to right the wrongs that's been done upon them. So, I would think that she would be happy that we've slowed down this group that seems to be working with her dad."

Trem thanks Kha for his words and his help. Once Eline is in bed, Trem takes a chair and sit next to her. He goes in his Trance, holding Eline's hand.
