"I dont know but it gave me the creeps."

 "Have you had much trouble with the orcs?"

 "Not yet but they grow in number every day."

Falcon helps the party stable the Ox and cart before leading them to their lodgings. He explains, "They appear to be in league with the evil half-orcs that dwell southeast of here. These half-orcs are often seen in the company of little stick creatures known to creep about these woods. All in all, a nasty lot.”

 "Do you have anywhere we can train?"

Falcon shows them to the main courtyard and Thomas remains there with Elandra for some time drilling her fighting forms and honing her psionic skills.

 Anders heads to the bedroom and ritual casts unseen servant.

He orders the servant to give him a back rub.

 Hovering on her disk, Toot watches through the window.

 Feldoran takes some time to scout the place out.

He spots Toot perving through the window, "Got a good view there?"

 She jumps in surprise and falls off the disk.

"Aaaagh!" picking herself up she glares at Feldoran, somewhere between anger and embarrassment.

 He offers a hand to help her up.

"Don't see the attraction myself, but no judgement here Toot. You do you."

 She does not reply.

Maintaining her sullen glare she stomps off to watch the others train.

 Feldoran shrugs and continues his scouting.

Eventually Falcon calls them all in to the eating hall.

They share a meal and news of the goings on beyond the forest. Falcon is more interested in the Orcs than the Dragon, but admits that he has seen it from time to time hunting in the area.

 Anders takes out his Lute while the others drink and talk.

‘Health Potion #9’ – A song about a long-suffering herbalist companion to a luckless knight and the scrapes the two of them get into. In the end, they end happily- the knight marries a guard captain who arrests him, while the herbalist falls for a local fortune teller.

Falcon laughs in appreciation and slams nine coppers down on the table in thanks. Anders takes the coin.

Eventually the group settle down for a long rest.

DAY 10 Falcons Lodge

 In the morning the group take their leave of Falcon.

Following his instructions they head westward along the river.

 Thomas places a hand on Feldorans shoulder.

"Scout ahead lad."

As the party travel toward the Loggers Camp a strong cold wind suddenly rises as if out of nowhere. Frost begins to form on the ground and the trunks of the trees before an ear splitting roar echoes through the canopy overhead. 

The party look up to see a vast shadow swoop overhead heading toward the hunting lodge.

 "Damn it that was it wasn't it?"

 "Yes Anders, that was it."

Thomas replies through gritted teeth.

 "Should we go back?"

 Elandra places a calming hand on the cleric arm.

"No Toot, we should complete out mission then we go back. Right Thomas?"
