"It's worth a shot!" Titaani replies to Matilda. She pokes her head under the bed, looking around. 

Investigation: 3

Matilda sees nothing under the bed from where she's standing. Titaani gets closer and tries to get a better look. It appears completely empty underneath, other than a large amount of dust and a bit of mold.

Ben gathers the three potions. They each look different from each other, with different writing on the labels.

"Oh, goodness. The carpenters are back. Or the burglars, I should say." A toad-like figure has appeared in the eastern doorway of the study. Bavlorna. Her wide mouth hangs agape, as flies flit in and out of it. "You stole my spool of thread last time – what are you back now to steal?" Her bulging eyes move independently, constantly scanning her surroundings. Stained and moldering patchwork garments hide much of the leathery, mummified flesh that stretches over her compact frame and extraordinarily long, spindly limbs. 

Then she spots the remains of her stuffed cat, and shrieks. "Gloam! What have you done with my Gloam?!"

Pud and Ben: roll initiative! 
(Well, everyone should, but those outside the room are surprised the first round.)
Bavlorna: 10
Two lornlings peering out from behind her legs: 9

Ben:

“We’re just looking for what you stole from us,” replies Ben.

Initiative:  7

"Achooo!" Titaani sneezes from the dust. "There's nothing there. Maybe we should rejoin the others, or give that secret door another try?"

Titaani moves back to where her sister is. Initiative for when she isn't surprised: 7

Pud leans towards Ben and whispers loudly "Is that Barflona?" Pud wrinkles his nose and takes a deep, exaggerated sniff in her direction and gags. Put raises his shield in a defensive stance. The face on his magical shield mimics Pud gagging. 

Initiative: 5

Matilda Initiative- 16

The little Lornlings rocket forward at blinding speed, their forms blurring from sheer velocity. One circles Ben, the other Pud. "Gloam! Gloam! Gloam!" cries one. "Burglars! Burglars! Burglars!" chirps the other. They weave a distracting pattern around each of you (Helping Bavlorna in any aggressive move she might choose to make next. You also have disadvantage against hitting the Lornlings due to their speed.)

"And what, pray tell, did I ever steal from you, little human?" She begins to shamble forward, her toadlike mouth beginning to widen and elongate.

Ben and Pud may act next. (The others only now hear the commotion and may act next round as needed.)

Elkhorn: 6

Ben:

Ben readies his shield and blade, taking a defensive stance (Dodge) as he responds, "I can sense it here--a part of me that was stolen from me during childhood--a missing part of my being, much like the memories that Longscarf fellow purloined.  But more important is what you and your sisters have stolen from the whole realm of Prismeer.  This realm is decaying and dying under your mismanagement, and it is time for you to leave and return the mantle of leadership to the Queen."

"One of you old crones stole a piece of my leg. Not to mention my childhood. And pretty much my whole life. Who knows how long I've been stuck here. I'll prolly never see my littler brother again. But that don't matter now. Like my buddy says,  y'all gotta go..." Pud stops mid thought as her jaw seemingly unhinges and gapes wide open. "...hey, lady, you sure gotta big mouth. Whoa..."

Pud thinks back to Titaani talking about Barflona trying to swallow her up, and Pud doesn't want none of that. With the flick of his wrist, Pud uses his magical multitool to cast flaming sphere. He casts it between himself and Ben, hoping to torch the lornlings, or perhaps cause them to scatter. And then he moves the sphere of flame to slam into the toad-like hag.

Action: Cast flaming sphere in the path of the lornlings. DC 15 dex save or take 5 fire damage or half as much damage on a successful one.

Bonus Action: ram the flaming sphere into Barflona.

"Ohhh!" Bavlorna giggles at Ben's remarks. "Mismanagement? What do you children know about how to run a proper realm? I don't think so. I assure you both, I am no thief. Everything I own, I acquired fair and square. Unlike a group of pushy burglars I know..."

The blindingly-fast lornlings scatter a bit at the sudden appearance of the arcane 5-foot sphere of fire. (DC15 Dex Save for one: 15)

Then Bavlorna dodges the incoming fireball.  (DC15 Dex Save: 10)

The flames singe her slightly as she charges Pud, surprisingly quickly, her mouth opening wider and wider... 

Bavlorna Bite Attack vs Pud: 27. Hit: 15 piercing damage, and Pud is grappled and restrained.

(Presuming that hit,) Pud is grappled andrestrained within Bavlorna's grotesquely enlarged mouth.

The two lornlings converge upon Ben, their little blades flashing in a silvery blur:

Horatio is about 20' away, with Elkhorn and Morgort.
Matilda is about 40' away, but can get within eyesight of the battle within 30'.
Titaani (still invisible, presumably) is about 50' away, but can get within eyesight of the battle within 40'.
Pud may make a DC16 Athletics or Acrobatics check to break free. He should make a DC10 CON save to maintain concentration on his flaming sphere, which is 10' behind Bavlorna.

A still invisible Titaani's pointy gnomish ears prick up at the sound of commotion. "Oh no! The others! We can't let them face her alone!"

Taking off in a sprint, she will use the dash action to move 50 feet. She moves to just behind the green couch, wide eyed and fearful as she takes in the scene. 

Matilda nods to Titaani then takes off at breakneck speed charging into the room and stabbing at the Hag hoping to get her to release Pud.

Ben:

Fending off the worst of the Lornling attacks, Ben started reaching for his mirrored holy symbol of Sune to try and drive these creatures away...but seeing Pud drawn towards the hag's mouth, he instead draws his sword and attacks the hag!  Vines grow out of his blade as he attacks ( bonus action Ensnaring Strike, Strength DC 14 Save)!
