... Kriv looks to Khessa. “I will protect you. Just let me know when you are ready.”
"Sure I will!" Khessa smiling puts a hand on the shoulder of the dragonborn "Thank you my friend, I know that I will be safe with you watching over me".
Zale grins at Khessa, "Well, that don't be a bad idea. If we had the time for it, I coulda tried to infiltrate the place and determine if they were workin with the cult r not. Unfortunately, I don't think we have that option since that caravan is so close... I'll keep an eye out while we be here though, might as well gather as much intel as possible."
The dragonborn returns to her dwarven employer and graciously thanks him for hiring her before telling him that she must be on her way. She takes a different route back than she took to get there, and on her way there and back she keeps an eye and an ear out for any more gang writing or shady figures.
Perception: 4
Ahh! Zale's famous Perception rolls! It's been a while! (nothing)
"I don't know" mumbles the dwarf to Khessa "I think people like that would be unreliable allies"
He looks to the other than "They are coming by the way, I guess we need to find a way to infiltrate among them, the people that have hired us could have enough connection to make us join their caravan" he says "I any case I would suggest to intercept them at the city gates"
"In fact, I didn't think of them as allies, I simply thought about selling them the information about the treasure, in order to exploit their greed so that they would get in the way of the Cult..." Khessa clarifies "If they managed to steal the treasure from the Cult, the Cult would not be able to exploit it for its own evil purposes".
"But anyway," admits the blonde arcane warrior "Zale's probably right when she fears it's too late for that, with the caravan so close. Let's simply go intercept the caravan at the city gates".
Once at thee city gates, the tall adventuress asks his companions: "I can see through my brother's eyes... (just as Nixi can see through Isidore's eyes, if she wants). That way, if we find a quiet place out of sight, we will be able to spy without any risk of being seen. What do you think? But I will need someone to watch over me while I do it, because while I use my brother's senses, I can't use mine at the same time! I'll be like deaf and blind during that time".
And if the party accepts, when the caravan is about to arrive...
"Wow!" Khessa exclaims softly, while her mouth remains partially open in wonder. It's the first time she's done it... she had read the description of the phenomenon many times in her own spellbook... but experiencing it in person is something else entirely! All of a sudden, she's aware of everything she has around her, within 60': the walls, the people, the buildings, even the tiny flying bugs... It's more like... knowing, being aware of, than like seeing. It's almost like exploring another world! Only it's not another one; it is always Toril... but perceived with different senses!
Not to mention the sensation of flying! That reminds her a little of swimming, swimming gracefully in a pool of calm water; only she's not swimming in the water... but in the air!
'Oh, brother...' she thinks 'Allowing me to fly with you... It is so wonderful! I'll never be able to thank you enough for this!'
But while enjoying this new marvel of magic, the blonde arcane warrior also observes the caravan...
Even without rolling you're pretty sure this is the caravan you're looking for. You recognize some faces from the camp. Remarkably enough, the caravan does not move further into the city. Looks like some cultists are being sent ahead though.
Khessa briefly returns to her body to warn her companions of the news: "Hey guys, I'm pretty sure this is the Cult's caravan - I even recognize some faces from the camp... but the caravan does not seem to move further into the city; they are sending some cultists ahead instead".
“I think I'll focus on my brother's senses again and follow them…” announces the blonde arcane warrior "Nixi, if Anator stops a moment by us, could you make him invisible? If yes, he could stay very close to the cultists and I could hear everything they say..."
Then, if Nixi agrees, Khessa quickly summons Anator to receive Invisibility; then she focuses back on his senses and follows the cultists sent ahead quite closely.
If no invisibility, she follows all the same, but not so close to raise suspicions.
Nixi nods slowly, "Yes, I can do that, but it will require all my concentration to maintain the invisibility. I will not be able to cast any other complex spells while he remains invisible..."
The dragonborn quickly returns to the group, without noticing anything related to the cult or any cartel. In fact, she barely remembers seeing anything of either path back. It was all quite a blur, she's lucky she didn't get lost!
She glances at Khessa, who is currently staring into space, and gives the woman an odd look. However, before she can say anything Khessa returns to her body and fills them in on the situation. She nods, "Do you recognize any of the people who were sent ahead?"

"Not exactly," answers Khessa "because I do not know really many cultists... I was not with you all from the beginning; I joined effectively only from our raid at the cave on".
"I could also help my taking on my smaller lizard form," Calvin suggests. "That is unless you think a lizard would raise too many suspicions?"
"Good idea Calvin, so Nixi can save spell and concentration..." the blond arcane warrior agrees "I'm pretty sure you won't raise any suspicions as a lizard. Go ahead!"
(Anator will still follow, from a distance, just in the unlikely event Calvin gets into unforeseen trouble).
Baldur's Gate is a busy city. Lot's of people and most of them have seen some sh*t. But if you're doing all this out in public in the middle of a street some people are going to pay attention.
((Little Lizard Calvin has a speed of 20 ft right?))
Well... 'all this' boils down to Calvin taking lizard form, since this makes both Anator's return and Nixi's casting unneeded. Could we find a place out of sight for this change of form? If it is an action, it should just need a few seconds... (since a round is 6 seconds).
As far as speed is concerned, the people in the street most likely move, but don't run... I hope Calvin can follow, if he sonetimes runs. Can't he?

In a city like this it's hard to find a place where no people walk by. At least not nearby. You can usher Calvin into an alley and block the view with you bodies? That should be enough.
(Yeah, Calvin would have 20-speed normally, unless he casts Longstrider on himself first to gain an extra 10 feet of speed.)
Calvin looks around, "We possibly should move somewhere a little more out of the way first."
Ushing your action to dash should be enough to keep up. The biggest problem would be getting from your current location to the 5 cultists that are now going somewhere. Maybe Khessa/Anator can be of assistance.
Zeminny will say" and watch out for cats...this alleys are full of strays "
Baldur's Gate doesn't allow any dogs, cats however seem to rule the streets... You don't know how much of a problem they will be. So far they have seemed quite indifferent to you.

Ok for usher Calvin into an alley and block the view with our bodies.
Getting him to the cultists... is the lizard light enough for Anator to bring it? If yes, he will bring Calvin and drop him not too far from them; and from that point on, Calvin will follow them closely while Anator will follow from more distance (just to be able to rescue Calvin in case of problems).
It depends what kind of bat Anator is. Normally, a bat can carry 60 to 80 percent of its own weight. Of course, we also need to know what kind of lizard Calvin is. I imagined a Western green lizard of about 30 grams. But given his background, Calvin should be familiar with multiple types of lizards.
Zale helps her group make the body shield for Calvin, grimacing at the cats as she does so. "Arrrrrg, I hate cats. Hmmm. Yer gonna have to be careful runnin round here as a lizard Calvin. Cats do eat em ye know."
With the rest of the party hiding him, Calvin focuses on drawing the energies of nature into him. He then turns from his human form into the form of a lizard.

So I'd say Anator follows the cultists from distance, telepathically guiding Khessa. Khessa, following Anator's directions, brings lizard Calvin not too far from the cultists. From that point on, Calvin sprints, reaches the cultists and follows them closely (while Anator keeps following from more distance, just to be able to warn us all in case of problems).

Eric shrugs, he has no scouting ability...

OK, I think Anator shhould be a BAT (PIPISTRELLE) Pipistrellus pipistrellus, so he can't probably lift and carry lizard Calvin.
So I'd say Anator follows the cultists from distance, telepathically guiding Khessa. Khessa, following Anator's directions, brings lizard Calvin not too far from the cultists. (Can't Nixi's raven carry him?)
