occ: I wouldn't have gone for that if I had to roll stealth but in this case the ambush is feasible also for stone-like character as myself and Telurion.... but is up to all you guys to decide
Looking around at his companions with a frown, Telurion silently drew his sword, pointed at the raiders, then made a signal with his thumb across the throat - "On me"- he whispered.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Calvin might be on to something. Perhaps we should wait?" However, noticing they walked up on us and noticing one of the cultists seems prepared for us, Fizker releases his fire bolt at that cultist (Cultist A). Attack: 21 Damage: 6
Although Calvin himself did not expect much from it, he lands a good hit on his opponent. The Cultist (A) looks conflicted and decides to go for the seemingly easier target.
He takes a swing at Zale with his Scimitar: to hit 10 + 3 = 13 (awww sorry, that just hits!) for 6 + 1 = 7 dmg (rolled in game log)
And with that Zale goes down (again).
Telurion, you're up. You see Zale going down and Zeminny aiming at a Kobold. You're pretty sure Zeminny will take it out in one shot.
If you are going for an ambush you don't have to roll to hide. I'm setting the DC for the raiders to notice you on 15.

Ooc: I vote ambush.
Looking around at his companions with a frown, Telurion silently drew his sword, pointed at the raiders, then made a signal with his thumb across the throat - "On me" - he whispered.
OOC: Ambush it is
Zeminny will wait for the signal, and will aim for a Kobold with his longbow
Fizker will, identically to Zeminny, ready a fire bolt and wait until the swordsmen attack before releasing it
Zale pulls out a rope, ready to one of them up once they are caught.
"Wait," Calvin urges. "Is this really such a good idea? I mean we just struggled against a bunch of rats."

You get in position and the raiders walk right up. Only one of them notices you, but it's too late for him to warn his friends.
Initiative:
Only Cultist (A) gets a turn in round 1 (and you guys of course).

The Fire Bolt misses the Cultist by just a few inches.
(Kill him Zale)

(I definitely will… if the dice will let me…)
Zale rushes forward to stab that cultist with her rapier.

(…I jinxed myself)
Zeminny’s shot when he is up.
Attack: 23 Damage: 11
Oof! Cultist (A) fends off the rapier with ease. He's going to strike back, Zale. Unless Calvin does something to change his mind...

Calvin let's out a sigh as he shakes his head.
"I'm really not very good at this."
He then moves forward to attack the cultist with his scimitar.
(Attack: 13 Damage: 3)

"Damn" - Telurion curses under his breath, wading in on the cultist who attacked Zale - "You will pay for that"
Attack (game log): 17
Damage if it hits (game log): 8
Telurion's sword strike true! Cultist (A) falls down at his feet.
Kriv, you're up. Zeminny shoots the Kobold now, killing Kobold (A) with one well aimed shot.

Kriv use his Breath Weapon aimed at as many kobolds as possible without hitting his allies.
