Khessa finally relaxes, as she sees the last oversized vermin curlp up as it burns. She smiles at her friends: "Excellent work! I knew we would be quick at cleaning up! Now I suggest we rest for a moment... after that, if you want, we can go out and look around while we wait for the night. We are honored members of the Cult of the Dragon, after all..."
[[ And, if no one has anything against it, the blonde arcane warrior allows herself a Short Rest ]]
"Well said!" laugh the dwarf. He also prepares for the night, he craft for the night. before leaving for their rendez- vous Eric shares with the other some special dwarfish beer infused with his magic ( is the way in which Eric casts motivational speech)
During your short rest you hear a large group passing your room (from the antechamber they go straight, you chamber is left). By the sound of it there are Bullywugs among them, and probably Lizardfolk (although they don't talk, the Bullywugs do). Calvin and Eric notice that there are some people speaking Draconic. It's hard to understand with all those Bullywug sounds, but they don't sound like Lizardfolk. Humans or Elves maybe?
If nothing is done a smaller group returns a few minutes later. This group is less noisy. They don't talk and leave the tower without speaking.
Khessa is intrigued, but imagines that the night she will need to be at her full potential... so she continues to rest - while promising herself to investigate once her rest is complete.
"Rest sounds mighty good!" Zale says as she wipes bug goo off her sword. Then she flops down somewhere not seeming to care about whatever mess is around. She listens intently to the group speaking in draconic, and tries to pick out any words.

It's difficult to make out with all those Bullywugs flapping their feet.... Grey-something... Tiamat, Wyrm-something...
“Well…” Khessa muses aloud on information and confirmation “This seems to confirm both that Tiamat is involved, as we had discovered on our own, and that there is a dragon, as the lizardfolk had told us. While 'Grey-something'...was that the name of the other half-dragon? The black one? Perhaps, as Cyanwrath ran the other base, the one near Greenest, 'Gray-something' runs this one".

Calvin frowns "It is not good if Tiamat is indeed involved."
Calvin thinks for a moment about his knowledge of Tiamat.
(History: 24)
Calvin remembers that Tiamat is the goddess of greed, the queen of the evil Dragons, and the eternal rival of her brother Bahamut. He knows that she is a unique chromatic Dragon, with five heads, each a different color: black, blue, green, red and white. He also knows that she was once a member of the pantheon of Unther, where she was known as Azharul, the Immortal Queen. He recalls that she played an important role in the creation myth of ancient Mesopotamia, where she personified the salty ocean on which the world floated. He remembers that she gave birth to the first generation of gods, but later came to war with them and was killed by Marduk, the patron god of Babylon. He remembers that her body was used to form the heavens and the earth. He remembers that she is now imprisoned in the Nine Hells, where she rules her own realm in Avernus. He remembers that she sometimes appears in the form of a Mulan woman, a multi-headed Dragon, or a Dracolich. He remembers that she has many followers among the evil Dragons, the Cultists, and the tyrants. He remembers that she has a symbol of a Dragon's head with five claw marks
"Hmmm." Zale says in a low tone, "Well, should we plan our next move? How long should we be keepin up this facade before we be strikin? To be honest, I don't be sure if hangin around for to long be the best idea with so many enemies. And I don't be knowin how long the Lizards will wait on us."
“The rendezvous with the Lizardfolk is tonight…” Khessa replies “so we could explore the compound a bit first. Isn't it better if we get familiar with the place? Cultists like them believe it… they shouldn't get suspicious for just the fact that we're going around the place - as far as they know, we should remain on duty here".
[[ OOC: @DM: Can we assume that the Short Rest has been completed? ]]
[[ OOC: Great! Khessa uses Arcane Recovery to get her only spent spell slot back ]]
Khessa, during the rest, also had the time to study her spellbook a little... she feels like new now! She just awaits for her friends' opinion... Better to simply stay in the room? Or to look around?
"I don't know, perhaps wandering around in group at night can rise suspects and since we have no clue about no knowledge of how the thing work here it would be difficult to deceive the cultist if we get caught. Instead Snapjaw knows and we would be less suspect with him. So my advice is to wait for him to come"
"Also" adds the dwarf "I know a way to look around without leaving the room, pretty much as Anator does, keeping him safe" Eric explains howClairvoyancespell works
Well... Khessa asked... only reply came from Eric... and the advice was to wait in room... so Khessa will keep her curiosity in check and trust Eric's wisdom. I'd say we clean up the room and wait for nightfall.
