[[ OOC: @FellowPlayers: I think this is going to be a very tough fight, with a very good chance of all of us dying here, guys...
It looks like I was deluded. Rezmir seems to be able to spam Darkness at will, no limited use. And in the darkness, both she and the Rug can see us and have a no small advantage over us. We can no longer dispell it - and anyway, that has already proven to be of limited use: when we dispell darkness, Rezmir simply resumes it as soon as she can.
So, apparently, we are supposed to beat her (and her allies) in a fight where we can't see, while she and the Rug can. My only hope is that at least she will be forced to use concentration for Darkness - so maybe the times we hit her and make her lose concentration we can see each other again and fight on equal terms for a fraction of a round. But it will undoubtedly be a very challenging fight. ]]
Khessa 'reads' Rezmir's move and ducks at lightning speed, missing most of the acid blast.
[[ OOC: Khessa saved, so she would have only taken 10 acid damage, reduced to 5 by the Warding Bond, of which 2 are absorbed by the Arcane Ward - she therefore only takes 3 points of acid damage. ]]
At the start of the Rug's turn the room is shrouded in Darkness again! You can't see what's happening, but Khessa you are restrained, blinded, take 5 dmg and can't breathe (attack roll 24 in case you were wondering).
...
Then the blonde arcane warrior feels the Rug trying to envelop her again... but she summons a Shield of pure magical force to block it.
[[ OOC: Casting Shield as Reaction - Khessa's AC gets from 20 (19 + 1 for Warding Bond) to 25 so the Rug barely misses. Plus the Arcane Ward gets 2 HP back.
Probably the Rug must die next. As long as it lives, it is a perpetual danger. If it Grapples, the poor victim has to use the next action to break the Grapple - so no attacks. It is a pain in the 4ss. It must die. ]]
[[ OOC: So Rezmir must save both to continue holding the weapon and to maintain the Concentration on the darkness... But I continue and declare Khessa's actions because this time they are independent of whether the darkness is present or not. ]]
Khessa is frustrated by the ease with which the powerful Wyrmspeaker seems able to continuously restore the darkness condition every time it is dissolved, but tries not to lose heart: 'Well, Rezmir... As you wish!' she thinks 'We will fight in the shadow!' and already strains her senses to the maximum, ready to compensate with them for the momentary impossibility of counting on her eyes. [[ OOC: As already mentioned in the OOC Thread: Khessa has the talent Alert and this prevents the attackers from having Advantage for the sole fact that Khessa cannot see them. ]]
The blonde arcane warrior then calls Anator from his pocket dimension, making him appear behind her, out of reach of the enemies. She then briefly detaches her left hand from the hilt of the Greatsword and grabs Steff's Rod, her special arcane focus empowered by the love and admiration of a young boy from Greenest... With the Rod, she touches her brother, granting him the power of a true red dragon! Anator can breathe fire, now!
The magically empowered familiar takes flight and, always keeping out of melee reach of enemies (ideally flying at about 15' altitude), maneuvers over them then engulfs them with a jet of flame.
[[ OOC: Khessa calls Anator to her from his Pocket Dimension with her Action. She casts Dragon's Breath on him with a Bonus Action, choosing fire as the damage type of the breath. Anator uses his Movement to get into a favorable position to include Rezmir and Rug in his breath cone, then uses his Action to breathe flames on them (always staying out of their melee reach). He can see them very well, because, like every Bat, he has Blindsight 60'. ]]
Nope, she failed concentration save, the darkness have been dispelled once again !
Also she managed to hold his weapon, but she have disadvantage on attack rolls...
Also Khessa should take just 4 damages from the rug, and Eric takes 4 damages as well from the Warding bond,
[[ OOC: Yes. Remember to keep Eric healed... I have no idea how much damage a Rezmir Caustic Bolt does... ]]
Khessa is relieved that the darkness has been dispelled once more! Striking the Wyrmspeaker will be less difficult... But her satisfaction is short-lived; the Rug takes advantage of her moment of distraction to envelop her and begin to suffocate her!
Eric's protective magic does its job once again, but this is little consolation for the blonde arcane warrior, who knows that her beloved is suffering just as much as she is!
With a sharp flick of her wrist, the drake's blood slips from her blade onto the floor and even in the darkness, she turns her head towards Rezmir. When the darkness falls, her gaze locks onto her next target.
As much as she wants to slice Rezmir to pieces, the rug is the first enemy in her path....and it seems to be the most annoying.
Zale rushes towards the rug. If possible, she will get into a flanking position.
Unfortunately Khessa has run out of spell slots... Nothing can save her from the Rug.
Rezmir uses a Legendary Action at the end of the Rug's turn to help Khessa out of her dire situation: 12 to hit (that hit bc I'm using the Rug's AC) for 15 slashing dmg and 11 necrotic dmg. The Rug and Khessa both take half that dmg. Khessa (and the Rug) can't regain hitpoints for the next minute (you can make a DC 15 Con save at the end of each of your turns, ending this effect early on itself on a success).
Forgot to check if she got her breath back: 3 nope

That hits. Khessa takes half of the dmg.
Seeing that the Rug is almost gone, Rezmir desides to help out again: Legendary Action 17 to hit for 12 slasing dmg and 5 necrotic dmg. The Rug takes half and Khessa the other half. (Same effects as before).
The rug is gone! Hurray for Rezmir!

I was forgetting Concentration, sorry:
Khessa's Constitution Saving Throw to keep concentration: 16
OK, Khessa is still Blurry.
Zale is up!
Growling at the darkness, Zale strikes at the drake once more intending to finish it off. With it gone, that's one less thing to worry about.
To hit: 26 (crit)
Damage: 14
Sneak:14
That takes care of the last Drake! Only the Rug and Rezmir remain.
Next up: Eric

Eric continues heating Rezmir's sword ( 8 damages and CON save CD:15)

Anator's Dragon's Breath causes 16 fire damage DEX 15 Saving Throw for half.
[[ OOC: Of course, the damage will force Rezmir to make an additional Saving Throw to keep Concentration on Darkness ]]

Dex save: 13 she takes full dmg. And she looks a bit hurt.
The Rug saves with a 21.

Tired of Eric's Heat Metal spell, Rezmir sends a Caustic Bolt at him: 15 to hit (that's a miss).
The Rug tries again at Khessa: 20 to hit for 9 dmg.
Does Khessa reply in any way? Because Rezmir would like to take a Legendary Action at the end of the Rug's turn.
