occ: for me is fine, if isn't dark already we can better take a look at the camp from above and then getting down once the dark has come. Eric just cast blessing of the forge upon his armor before leaving
(OOC: The note is in the following spoiler - since it is only roleplay by Khessa alone, that does not involve the party, you can skip it if bored or not interested)
I am increasingly convinced that, even if we use the term 'magic' to designate extraordinary, striking or unnatural phenomena, in fact magic is at the heart of all things, even (if not above all) the most common. Yesterday, as I was pushing yet another wheelbarrow of building materials to help a family in Greenest village (which was the subject of a violent and cowardly raid by the Cult of the Dragon) to rebuild their home, a boy whom I had previously befriended came to meet me. He wanted to give you something in return for helping. I did not want money in exchange for my help (money that he, by the way, wound't have had) and I simply replied to him: 'We are friends, remember? You don't need to pay me, because friendship is priceless. Your happiness will be my reward!' He thought a moment, then started carving a stick with commitment. He has engraved images of everything that he likes and that makes him happy. And one of the images, albeit roughly, unequivocally represented me! As if he wanted to tell me that I was part of his happiness! The stick was so pretty that I've been moved to tears. I thanked him, gave him a kiss and started keeping the stick with me all the time. So, I had it with me that night too, while I was studying magic and practicing my spells - and I found that, with that rod in my fingers, I was able to cast spells without having to provide the simplest material components! It was as if that rod was to me what real wizards call an 'Arcane Focus'! It is clear (and proven) that my sentimental connection with this rod allows me to use it as a very special Arcane Focus! How could we not conclude, then, that magic is in all things, even the simplest, such as in the feelings of the people or in the gratitude of a boy?
After that, the blonde arcane warrior retrieves two blankets (as per plan) and is ready to go.
(Oh lol i'm silly. Zale's all for avoiding the rearguard. I think we are going to want to go east so we come up to the camp on the same side as the nursery.)
(Should Khessa know of a rearguard, she would be for avoiding it. Because fighting it without actual need might weaken us and raise alarm also, in case the dead bodies of the rearguard are found. And I agree with Zale: we want to go east so we come up to the camp on the same side as the nursery).
Your walk is pretty uneventful. As the sun begin to set Zale and Eric notice a single hunter to your south. He's going in a north-east direction. You see him looking at your crew before he ignores you and moves on.
"Let's be on our way and leave him alone" advises Khessa. "If we stop or kill him, they might send someone to investigate. Let's just go on with our plan".
Eric nods but he keeps an eye on the stranger as long as he can. "Fine for me, but don't trust wanderers of these lands" he watches around suspiciously, " anyway if he is watching us, we we'll meet again" then continues walking eastward
Calvin is less trusting of the hunter and watches his movement to try and judge his actions.
(Insight: 17)
The hunter looks and acts like the unaligned hunters Fizker told you about.
Under the cover of darkness you reach the raiders' camp. Even from afar and in the dark you notice that something is wrong. You can make out the guard towers, but there are no fires. The camp seems completely dark.

Khessa finishes writing a note in her spellbook:

"Yes, let's be off." Zale says. "I'm sure we'll succeed this time!"
Calvin nods, "Then I take it we have a plan? I think we had better get on with it."

So, which route are you taking? (And I need 1 or 2 Perception checks)

(I think we are trying to get there at night, and we will be dropping in from above.)
Perception 1: 17
Perception 2: 20
I meant: are you avoiding the rearguard (east or west)? And 1 or 2 characters rolling a single check. 🤣

Khessa's perception: 19
(I think Zale and the other's would have mentioned the rearguard to Khessa and Nixi.)
I think eastward is fine
Perception check if still needed: 17 + 4 if guidance allowed

If nothing about him makes Eric suspicious, its fine with me, let's continue and see if we catch him again.

"I agree as well." Zale says slowly. She has a slightly pained expression on her face, but she covers it up quickly.
