"YES!" Zale exclaims shooting her hands over her head. "There be some loot in 'ere!" She sorts through the collection of treasures. It's not exactly what she was looking for, but at least it's something. "We'll have to split these after this is over.....unless they belong to the people of Greenest that is..." She pockets the gems, then takes out the ring and the pearls and examines them, wondering if they have any magical properties like the ugly things Eek had given her.
"You've spoken wisely Zale" Eric laugh while examines the treasure himself
No magic items. The string of pearls looks like it worth abou 300 gp, the gold-and-sapphire ring about 3 times that much and the precious stones are about 100 gp each.
"Great job folks," warns Khessa "but be careful not to move the chest... I feel evocation magic from under it... and I'm not eager to find out its effects! The items, on the contrary, have no magic in them, they should be safe to handle".
"Now maybe it's a good time to finally regain our strength?" the blonde arcane warrior proposes "If we rest in the drakes' room we could decide what to do with them... if they seem like they can be tamed or if they are better... didposed of. If they are to wild to be tamed, we could take the time to kill them... And we could try to forge the poisoned handaxe also".
occ: Are the pearl suitable for Identify spell? regarding the crafting Eric is willing to use his channel divinity to do so.
"An handaxe you said? it can be done, we just need some metal slugs apart from the spikes you have already collected. what do we have here? there are sword and lance here you said" Eric mumbles, "I think that should be more enough"
Calvin agrees with Khessa and finds a large rock to sit on. If the rock is large enough, he will sit cross-legged and close his eyes to focus on attuning himself with nature again.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Zale grins, then puts the ring and the pearls in the bag with the gems. She carefully moves away from the chest before answering. "I'm up for trying to tame the drakes, Greenest might benefit from having such animals guarding the people. We could also benefit from having them if we can't trust them to greenest, but if they can't be trained, we'd best get rid of them...." She pauses for a moment. "Also, Don't forget the kobolds in that other room."
"I don't forget neither those kobolds, nor the fact that we have still left many branches unexplored" Khessa replies to the rogue dragonborn. "But we still need to rest. This room does not seem one to be accessed lightly, so I hope nobody comes to disturb us while we regain strength. I really hope" can't help but smile the blonde arcane warrior "that you can tame or train the drakes Zale! before, while I was killing them... I did not like what I was doing. I felt kind of... well, kind of like a ruthless bloodthirsty *****. But I did not know what else to do, I thought it was the best (if not the only) thing to do... So I was forcing myself to do it. There are times when you do what you've got to do. But I'd like much better if you could find a way to train them so that we can spare them. They could really be an invaluable help - if an help they can be".
"As far as the poisoned spikes are concerned," the tall adventuress turns to Eric "I did not collect them yet, to avoid the risk of stinging myself. But now that the main threat is dealt with, we can go and fetch them".
(OOC: @DM: What roll is required to collect the spikes?)
"Ok, just regain strengths first and then I can accompany you in case. In case they are metal spikes (don't remember) I could also merge them with the iron of your sword"
"Oh, thank you Eric, but no, I'd prefer a new weapon..." Khessa reflects "...because, you know, I don't know the exact effects of that poison, so I don't want to risk to merge it with the steel of my main blade - should some undesirable side-effect manifest, I'd have to drop it... A handaxe will do fine! A good throw at combat start, and if luck is on our side, an enemy stops giving trouble for some time. And in case of side-effects... easy to drop it or stop using it - it would not be my main weapon".
"fair enough. I would advise to recover some strength then now. We deal with everything thereafter, hoping the worst has passed" Eric settles for taking some rest
Khessa agrees and takes place near Eric, meanwhile partly tending to the bruise left by the berserker under her chainmail, partly studying the spells of her spellbook, partly simply closing her eyes and letting her young and healthy body recover.
"I feel calm next to you, you know Eric?" the blonde arcane warrior realizes, after a while. "You've just finished battling cultists, fungi, kobolds, berserkers, not to mention that half-dragon (and half-*****) of Cyanwrath... we all risked to get wounded, bled out, poisoned, electrocuted... yet , look at you: none of this seems to have really impressed, frightened... or even shaken you. You are just resting to resume work in a while, as if you were my father Tobar plowing through the field, instead of an intruder in a den of vicious cultists. You make me also feel calmer. What is it, Eric? Faith?"
"Eye, that do be true. I'd like to search this whole bloody place before we leave. I'm still hopin to find some dragon eggs around 'ere." Zale says as she sits down across from Eric and Khessa, "Heh heh, Well they did seem to respond to draconic, but I'm sure I'd do better with help. Calvin probably be better suited to deal with animals n such than I be." The dragonborn's eyes drift away from Khessa as she continues, "Everyone has their moments of ruthlessness, don't feel bad about it. You acted on what you thought was the best and only answer to the current situation. As cruel as it may sound. Those animals be better off dead than in the hands of our enemies. Clearly you knew that from the start. No one here's gonna hold that against ya." She looks back up at the blonde warrior and smiles, "Anyways, if you all want to rest, I'll take first watch."

It's a string of about 30 little pearls, so I'd say no.

(OOC: @DM: What roll is required to collect the spikes?)
It depends in the way you want to do it. If you want to just jank the spikes out of the plate it would be a STR check whit a super high DC. There's also a roll required for collecting the poison, because this was a one-time trap. Between activating the trap and de poison you scraped of already, there would be little left.

I'm glad our paths have crossed! I'll rest better, knowing that you are on watch".
The blonde arcane warrior then turns her blue eyes to the gnome wizard: "Come to rest with us, Nixi... you felt the full brute force of that lightning breath... I was so worried, seeing you fall down! You'll need to regain strength. And we can study a bit together while we take a breather".

Nixi tentatively re-enters the room. "Huh," she says. "I was sure that thing was gonna explode or something. Well, I'm glad it didn't."
She will sit down by Khessa for the short rest, and open her spell book to go over some arcana with her friend.
Kriv sits and leans against the cave wall. He pulls a small wooden rod and begins fidgeting with it.
