Zuix digs around for 5 silver. Then he grabs another 5 silver to hand to her. "You think I can get a few more blankets? I can't sleep in the beds and the floor was a little hard and cold last night."
She then looks at Mitsu. "That's an interesting accent you have, friend. I can't quite place it.... where are you from?"
You see Sildar lope down the stairs. He is obviously feeling much better now that he's had a full night's sleep. He is heading out the main doors of the Inn.
Stonegrin nodded and smiled, "Yes Carp and Pip, seemed like two good natured boys. We'll find them at the Alderleaf farm then." he then waited for Mitsu to acknowledge where he was from as the accent had intrigued Stonegrin as well.
“Folks from all over have passed through here. Sorry you have visited Phandalin during such tense times. And your common isn’t the worst I’ve heard... just keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it!”
"Well we're sure glad to have ya lad" Stonegrin nodded towards Mitsu. "Everyone finish up and let's get underway, can't keep them boys waiting we have a reputation as adventurers to uphold."
You walk south down the main road, and you notice that the locations in town are much easier to find. The daylight has drawn out the contrast from one structure to the next.
You pass the Lionshield Coster and head east as you were instructed. You also pass the Townmaster's Hall, where you see a large signpost "Orc raiders near Wyvern Tor! Reward offered, Inquire within."
At the end of the road, you see a signpost in front of a country house. The sign reads "Alderleaf".
Meleager, passing in front of the town hall, reads the sign and tells to the others:
"Mh, look like they have a lot of problems around here...let's bear it mind for later"
And then , once at Alderleaf's, he looks around the house and the porch if there is anyone (not only persons but also animals: we wouldn't like to be attacked by other dogs on guard).
If he sees someone, he reaises a hand hailing and asking permit to go inside "MAY WE?!"
Approaching the alder leaf home, you notice there is a cat, basking in the morning air, lazing in a shaded portion of the front porch. It takes notice of your presence, but otherwise continues, thinking its kitty thoughts.
You hear from the other side of the door, "pip, they're here! There really are adventurers!" The mail slot opens up and you see a child's pair of small eyes. "who goes there?"
Door swings open. The boy smiles. He asks, "are we going to get the redbrands??" He takes off running, leaps over the side of the porch, and around the house into the fields of crops to the southeast.
Meleager runs in front of the boy, pointing at him, whispering:
"you bet we go and get them, boy, but we must be sneaky sneak...ah, and don't be foolish, ok? let us deal with them"
And then he starts to walk together with the boy, to be sure he indeed doesn't do something foolish, like running toward danger or simply shouting giving them away.
the boy continues to run as you chase him to the edge of the planted crops, where he stops and turns to you. "well, if you won't let me go... you better tell me all about it when you defeat them! I want to hear about all of it. I want to know how you run them through and make them cry like babies!!! They didn't catch me the last time I was there, they didn't even see me!"
after a short time of pouting and begging, you are able to convince him that it's too dangerous for a young boy of his age.
he points across the clearing and indicates that if you follow the base of the hill, atop sits the ruins of Tresendar Manor, about a hundred feet into the forest that surrounds the town, you will find the mouth of a cave. "I think its a secret entrance" he says. "ok bye!
he runs back toward the farmhouse calling after his friend Pip.
Meleager, assuming everybody is ready, starts to walk in the direction of the cave.
ooc: I assume we are vigil, passing around trees and such, not to be seen, once quite close to the cave entrance, I suggest to Stonegrin to have a scout look ahead

She takes the extra silver with a wink at Zuix "not a problem, right away."
She then looks at Mitsu. "That's an interesting accent you have, friend. I can't quite place it.... where are you from?"
You see Sildar lope down the stairs. He is obviously feeling much better now that he's had a full night's sleep. He is heading out the main doors of the Inn.

Mitsu gestures vaguely, smiling.
"Far...away. My common is...not good?" he says apologetically, then mutters something in a tongue foreign to any who do not speak Undercommon:
"It's my 4th language, though."
Deception to convince that his common is not good: 18
And that's all I have to say about that.
“Folks from all over have passed through here. Sorry you have visited Phandalin during such tense times. And your common isn’t the worst I’ve heard... just keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it!”
Mitsu smiles, looking a little embarassed. He appears to not be sure what to say.
And that's all I have to say about that.
"Well we're sure glad to have ya lad" Stonegrin nodded towards Mitsu. "Everyone finish up and let's get underway, can't keep them boys waiting we have a reputation as adventurers to uphold."
Melager smirks at Stonegrin's words and he is ready to go
Mitsu finishes his porridge and stands, smiling artlessly. He's ready to go.
And that's all I have to say about that.
