Muir takes out his map and reintroduces it to Vin "This is what I have based on the lights seen the night the treasury started to sink. The x above Marbelstead is this realm, the one over the water, and this is my guess based on research and such, is the water realm, the one over Hokum is the Fae realm as we discovered, The one over Chattel is the earth realm, the one in Lyvander is celestial, and the only one I am missing is the fire realm....I have run into a dead end there.....I am guessing the Ruins of Almaterox based on the locations of the other portals but that is a complete guess based on nothing but the others' locations. The lights in the sky from that night also helped me piece together which portal opened where."
Vin lowers his voice a bit as he speaks to Muir, not really certain why he does it, but it feels right not to share this with those outside the group possibly listening.
"She says it is a possibility that the portal is there. She has heard of Almaterox, but not been there. She also thinks she would sense it if the portal was opened, but again isn't sure of that. Sorry I can't give you certainties".
Sam, when invited, gives Elthana a squeeze on the shoulder and says “Guess it’s my turn. Be right back.” He then wanders over to the door and steps through. Luckily before Vin and Muir get into their discussion…
"Not here and not now", Vin replies but with a reassuring smile. "I know you are becoming frustrated, but have patience, there is much to this", he adds, becoming lost in thought.
Muir nods and stays on the couch “Morris, since you are able to freeze time outside of this tree, perhaps we could rest for a while before heading back out?”
Elthana sits back on the couch and closes her eyes. She is completely exhausted and is jealous of Griff as he snores next to her. The back and forth between Muir and Vin helps calm her.
"I could do that yes. But I should wait until Sam and Gewyn have rejoined us." Morris says with a smile. "But I am interested, what are your plans from here?"
Without opening her eyes, Elthana replies, "We need to inform the council here and the other dijinns about Vox. Then probably head back to see what is going on in Northmorrah. I've sent a message to Sergor asking that question but have yet to hear back. I want to defeat my sister, but we aren't ready yet.
"We should probably find someone to un-curse Sam, or de-curse him. Not sure what the correct terminology is", Vin adds.
He looks across to Morris, "What about you? Will you be keeping an eye on us? In fact, I meant to ask before, did you appear because I prayed to your shrine? Does that work?"
"I mean yes, that's generally how shrines work but I'd already been keeping an eye on you Vin. The mix up with your memories and such, I didn't want to leave you impaired as it were. Though it certainly helped catch my attention that you prayed at a shrine directly outside the door to my realm. I imagined that neither Dec or Charon would show up, so I jumped at the opportunity.!" He grins.
With her eyes still closed, she answers Vin, "Well, that's a given."
But then her eyes pop open, "Weren't you wanting to go see the woman that cured Hector of his condition? I bet she could help Sam!" a smile starts creeping across her face, a solution making its way through.
“Sure, sure” Sam says while nodding, apparently agreeing with whatever Morris said as he opened the door. Sam too steps out of the library and into the bar. He looks around at the others, smiling when he spots Elthana… but he also notes one still missing.
“Sheesh, you’re still chatting with Gewyn?” Sam asks Morris. “You teaching him a whole new personality or what?”
“That is true, although I wanted to see her to find out more about what happened to me when I died, and I have kind of heard it from the horses mouth now”, Vin replies nodding at Morris.
"never been compared to a horse before but yeah I suppose" Morris nods to vin as his double from Sam's room folds into him and he becomes one once more, his nose wrinkles at Sam's question, "who is Gewyn?" He smirks.
Morris looks confused, though the smirk never properly leaves the corner if his mouth "the other one who came in with you left again, Serafina, right? I wonder what she's doing, should she not come in and rest too?"
Muir takes out his map and reintroduces it to Vin "This is what I have based on the lights seen the night the treasury started to sink. The lights in the sky from that night also helped me piece together which portal opened where."
"Oh yes, I vaguely remember this map", Vin replies looking closely at it.
"Ruins of Almateros you think then", he says, and looks across to Neferox.
Vin lowers his voice a bit as he speaks to Muir, not really certain why he does it, but it feels right not to share this with those outside the group possibly listening.

At Sam's uptake on the invite, Morris once again doubles up and one of him goes with Sam and the other stays in the bar.
“It is just a guess, as I said. She wouldn’t perhaps tell me what she knows, would she?”
"Not here and not now", Vin replies but with a reassuring smile. "I know you are becoming frustrated, but have patience, there is much to this", he adds, becoming lost in thought.

Yet."

“Umm, the other one of us?” Sam answers. He then looks to the others and shrugs, hoping one of them has a clue…
Muir’s eyes remained closed….relaxing
Morris looks confused, though the smirk never properly leaves the corner if his mouth "the other one who came in with you left again, Serafina, right? I wonder what she's doing, should she not come in and rest too?"
