(Ok so I think the dragon would have gotten something with that nat 20)
Corvus glances toward Jess as she approaches him. “Just watching for odd people. That one is rather strange.” He nods toward the Tiefling just as the pseudo dragon slams into his mask. With a look of surprise and shock he calls “Crow! Knock it off!”
The little dragon continues tearing at the mask for a moment before turning to look at Corvus, it’s mouth full of feathers from the newcomers’ mask. It glances back at the Tiefling and growls before flying back over to Corvus. Landing on his shoulder, it crawls into his satchel then crawls back out onto the opposite shoulder. Glaring at the Tiefling, it hisses loudly.
Corvus glances at the dragon before fixing the newcomer with his own firey red gaze. “It seems my familiar dislikes you. My apologies.” He bows slightly without breaking his stare, “I’ll be sure to keep a closer eye on him now.”
Turning back to Jess he says, “Did anything of note happen while I was resting?” He sounds slightly annoyed.
The figure speaks to Corvus: "It is fine. I need to fix my mask now.”
A faint glow of another demon other than the tiefling emits from the new holes in his mask. Corvus can tell when a fiend is within someone, as he is a warlock of such being. The figure sits back down and starts sewing his mask back together. He grabs more feathers fron his pocket and stuffs them back in his mask. The copper wiring used to hold the mask to his face gets stitched into said mask, making it tougher to break. He straightens the noose around his neck like a tie, and his eyes stop glowing.
The dragon tugs and pulls at incredible speeds though his brute force isn't particularly dangerous or hard to fight it is hard to keep up with however. The dragon is able to able to pick a few feathers though as that didn't take any brute force. What it lacked in muscle it made up for by acting as a little bolt of lightning in this moment. What did Corvus want with these feathers however? Jess and Corvus seemed intrigued by this new figure as Kristoph came to take their orders (For free.) He looks to the both for a moments.
"Where's you're dragonborn friend? Vex? He gave me a strange salute last night and I haven't seen him since. His room was cleaned out this morning everything was gone."

“I haven’t spoken To him — wait, you said his room is cleaned out? He’s gone?”
Jess furrows her brow, wracking her brains to remember of he had said anything unusual to her or given some hint as to his intentions. He had been an odd fellow, hard for her to read. Hmmmm, one more thing to discuss with the group. Assuming there was still a group…?
(The deception was to hide the fact that he knew that the dragon was going to try to knock off the mask.)
Corvus listens to Jess’s description of the elf intently. “From Gurmuid you say? And looking for a flower? Hmmm. Interesting.” He’ll have to pay this elf a visit at some point.
History to see if he might know of this elf: 1 (apparently not)
When Kristoph approaches he replies, “Gone you say? Hmmm doesn’t surprise me. He seemed a bit flighty, perhaps he has something else he needs to take care of.”
As Kocino comes down Gwen had burst in the tavern with many of the town folks including commander Rein himself. There appeared to be many bags and wrapped giftings she had looked around with a smile to Kocino,Jess and even managed to wave hello at Corvus. She saw the strange figure in the otherside of the room but had paid it no mind.
"We came together to offer everybody a different surprise! It's not enough for what you've done for us but.. I want you all to have something to remember us by and to let you know we are grateful. So.. Who wants theirs first?"
She felt rather giddy curious to who would step forward first their reward. Drezmir had said he wanted nothing but she wanted him to be involved as well.
Gwen beckons for them to follow her, first of all Jess who had stepped first. Upon heading to the town square a wooden stage of sorts was made for each of the members to gain their rewards. Gwen had beckoned Jess to come first, if Jess would step forward she would put a medal around her neck offering her a small smile.
"For you're tactical prowess in helping Glazing Winds see the truth. A debt Glazing Winds will owe you, but also I present to you another gift. It is an odd trinket from my brother's now open stores. May you're wise and tactical mind be a safe haven in this ever uncertain world. Believe it or not.. Simon himself told me this would suit you when I.. Sorta explained each of you're personalities to him last night. For I don't know his magic stores very well. As I understand it is a ring of mind shielding, as long as you wear it no one will be able to peer into you're thoughts. It has a few other effects as well however. If you want after the ceremony I can explain them to you. Also with this medal I have given you when you reach the capital the Black Smith whom owes us a favor will make you a new dagger one even better than the one you possess I guarantee it. Last but not least at the store Cobble will have you a new set of studded leather armor."
The crowd had cheered for Jess as Gwen smiled softly.
"I thank you Jess on behalf of all Glazing Wind's. Now can I have Corvus and Kocino up here? I've a few things you two might be happy to see!"
Corvus raises an avian eyebrow when Gwen enters the tavern. When she waves to him, he nods in response. “We’ll this is unexpected.” He says to himself.
After Jess receives a magical item, Corvus cannot hold back his curiosity. Walking onto the stage somewhat hesitantly, he approaches Gwen. He really wasn’t expecting this, he could have done without the crowd, but he has never been one to turn down anything so freely given.
Drezmir is rather late to rise. He'd stayed up for as long as he could, dreading what could come if he rested. Regardless, he knew that he wouldn't last long in a fight given his current condition, so he'd eventually given in to sleep. When he woke up in the morning, he was relieved to find that nothing had changed. Perhaps he could learn to contain the beast inside him. Perhaps he would have to learn to accept it eventually....perhaps.
He comes down from his room just in time to see Gwen leading the others out of the tavern. Still a little self conscious about what had been said during their walk to see Simon, it took a moment for him to follow. Before he does, he looks for Vex, realizing that the Dragonborn was the only one who hadn't left the Tavern already. He is surprised to find the room cleaned out...what a shame. Still, they all had their own destinies to follow. Just like Sloden...just like Gildaug. That in mind, he gives a small smile before closing the door. "May you find what you seek, Vex. Perhaps we will meet again someday."
Letting out a long breath, he proceeds to make his way to the town square.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Though Drezmir is a bit awkward himself Gwen is only happy to see Drezmir up and about as she offers him a bright sincere smile and a wave. Looking back to Kocino she gives the young man a firm handshake and a grin.
"As for you Kocino in my brother's store is a potion specifically for you. A potion of heroism, upon drinking it for the next hour you'll be even greater force to be reckoned with. This is to show you're bravery in battle and willingness to put yourself in danger. Also Cobble will have you a new set of Chain Skirt armor in the armory. It's got some defensive qualities but it isn't too loud for sneaking around either. A little heavier than what you've got on but I think you can manage it yes? One more thing.. That potion I gave you.. May help you focus you're magic a bit better. Robin told me a bit about you're weapon maybe for that hour it'll be more useful? I can only hope."
Corvus had than walked up himself to see what he himself would receive from Gwen. She had offered him a tome, the same red tome he had seen in the artifacts store!
"It isn't much but once you finish reading this you'll be feeling a bit of an edge. Of course only if you can understand it, I thought a mage like you shouldn't have a problem with such a thing. (+2HP increase for Corvus.) I wish I could say I had a new weapon or armor prepared for you.. But I hope this item helps you. It's a relic here in Glazing Winds and you helped defeat Simon. I'd say you deserve it. We thank you for you're indomitable spirit no matter the odds. Even if those odds involve being crushed under a boulder.
Gwen had than motioned for Drezmir to come up but she looked confused not to see Vex around.
"Drezmir,Gilded,Vex come on up.. Except I haven't seen Vex around?"
If Drezmir would come to the stage Gwen would find herself with a smile even brighter than before a light in her eyes.
"Please kneel sir Drezmir, from hence forth you are.. A knight of Glazing Winds. I know you cannot stay but you will be given a pedigree to prove as such. I hope this comes to help you in a time of need or simply for the world to know what you have done for us. You're heart bleeding with equal parts valor and compassion I knight thee sir Drezmir. I know you're from Romalia so I'll try to explain.. This basically means you're a low ranking noble in Radiance. What is a knight however without his blade? After you're talk with Simon.. He wants you to have his old sword. It was the sword father had made for him before learning he was to ill to ever wield it. Simon had altered the blade long ago though in hopes one day he could use such a thing. Prototype Dawnblade, but he'd rather you name it now. What you said last night.. Really got to him."
With a case brought to Gwen she had knighted Drezmir with the blade, before kneeling herself offering it to him.
"Unlike the other's I've no new armor for you but.. I hope the blade itself is enough."
Drezmir gains a +1 Rapier! The blade appears refined, sparkling almost with a fanciful golden guard and a razors edge tip.
"As for sir Gilded I've the power to grant one more title.. Sir Gilded you too will become a knight of Glazing Winds! Know wherever you go that you and Sir Drezmir will represent us and I'm honored by such a fact truly. You're honor and courage have done us great justice, you're passion has inspired us. You are a shield to not only defend the weak but to raise them up. A guardian deserves greater tools to serve his purpose yes? Gilded, Copper will make his finest armor for you. A new suit of Splint Mail second only to the Glazing Wind knights. We are out of Plate metal but.. Copper will be melting my plate metal down, it isn't enough to match you're grand size. However with our final favor.. The armor smith at the capital.. Will heed you're call with that knight's pedigree. He may charge you a small fee for the missing Plate but.. For much cheaper than usual he should be able to make you Glazing Wind plate armor. Let it serve thee well."
Gwen had pounded on her chainmail as she gave knighted Gilded as well. Handing him and Drezmir their pedigree's. Turning around she went had a large sack of gold and a container of ointment. She looked to Drezmir with a worried look.
"This ointment (Restorative ointment 2d8+2) was for Vex.. He's always looking after others and nurturing his allies. Cobble was also going to make him Splint Mail as well since he could wear heavy armor just liked Sir Gilded. Where has he gone? ..This gold here is for all of you to split. 1000 gold, Simon's and my own pocket actually so don't worry about Glazing Winds. Most of it was his anyway.. I hope it serves you well and honestly I wish it was more. "
OOC The ointment can be found in the magical items list ^^ It also heals disease and poison and it has 1D4+1 uses so I shall roll a D4 to decide it's number of uses ^^
Corvus graciously accepts the tome, and gives Gwen a small bow. "No problem at all. It shall indeed be of great use to me." He ignores her comment about the boulder, though it does make him remember the dent it left in his cyber arm.
Moving to stand near Jess, he watches the others receive their rewards.
Drezmir returns Gwen's smile and wave, realizing a little to late that she was standing on a stage and likely caused many people to look his way. He'd never been bothered by crowd's before...having been desensitized to them at home. Yet, this felt different...not in a bad way but--it only increased his own self consciousness.
When Gwen calls him and Gilded up onto the stage, Drezmir doesn't hesitate to join her. When she ask's him to kneel, he looks a little shocked. Regardless, he does as he is asked and bows his head to hide the redness in his face. Yet, when she knights him, and explains what that means, he looks up--surprise causing him to forget his previous shock. A minor noble? Him? Then she speaks of a blade...a sword meant for Simon... had he really made that much of an impression on the mage?
When Gwen kneels to offer him the sword, he forgets to get back on his feet...still kneeling, he gently takes the blade from her hands. "Enough? This is quite enough...more then enough..." He offers a small smile, "I'll do my best to be worthy of this blade...and this title... a minor noble eh? I won't pretend I know what that entails but..." He shakes his head, realizing that they were both kneeling on the stage, "I thank you nonetheless." He offers a hand to help her up off the wooden floor.
He accepts the scroll of pedigree, glancing at it with slight confusion before realizing what it was and tucking it away inside his padded jacket.
When Gwen asks where Vex is, Drezmir looks to his companions, "I went to his room this morning since I didn't see him come out...but it was empty. Did he happen to say anything to any of you before he left?"
“Kristoph mentioned that Vex left sometime in the night or early this morning. I didn’t know that was his plan, he didn’t say anything about it to me.”
For the gifts, Jess accepts them warmly with a smile and says,
“It was the least we could do, helping you in your time of need. Nature can be cruel and calculating at times, but we folk can also find it in our hearts to look after each other. And you, Gwen, have certainly done that for us. I thank you.”
Jess will deliberately put the medal on around her neck and display it proudly. The ring goes on her finger.
