Corvus nods, "I agree with Jess. If those flying boards prove fruitless." He ruffles his wings, "I can draw it back to us if it attempts to escape." He turns back to Jess, "Either way your magic can lend us a way to bind it down that would be the most effective. Not only would it keep it from flying, it would keep it from moving as well. As for healing..." He turns to Drezmir. "I will also be unable to lend aid. My magics are not of that sort."
“I am able to assist with healing as well. While I can’t keep it down, I may be able to get it to land for a few seconds.” Kocino gives the upcoming fight some thought. “Along with Corvus’ flight, I can teleport to it, if it’s close.”
The party had split up, some heading to gather Jess's daggers. Some towards the wind sailing boards and others heading to retrieve Leo's sword.
Leo's
Drezmir (And any who may follow him.) had traversed through the town due to the map/directions given before coming to a shack hidden downtown. Was it a shack? Or a small home? It was hard to tell with the woodwork and it almost looked abandoned. Maybe it was given Leo's circumstance. The air seemed still and even this dark street felt cold and lonely. It was easy to remember how frail an adventurers life was. One second you're making friends and fighting bandits.. The next was nothing but frozen death. A chilling resolution.

Heading to Dragon's Forge they could see Augustus packing up his stand at the front for the day. Jess had head in to see William the dragonborn forging away at another blade. He had gripped the sword tightly before panting and releasing the blade.
"Damn it.. Still too hot. Who could wield such a piece of crap... Ahh Jess! I'm presuming you are here for the daggers yes?"
Boards
Back at the Shining guild, near the backroom appeared to be a place for such boarding practices. Those drinking at the tavern looked to the party a moment before the bartender offered a soft wave. It seemed those allowed to enter the backroom had proven themselves with a badge by taking a few of the guilds missions. As each person approaching the backroom was forced to show a badge of some sort.
OOC It's been a bit so if I got anything wrong just let me know ^~^
Drez glances upward at the rundown building, a sense of regret looming over him. He hadn't even seen Leo's death, as he'd been engaged in his own fight. Yet he still feels like he should have done something. He is supposed to be some sort of hero isn't he? Isn't that what heroes are for? Or was he really just made to fight the kitsune and nothing else? He left home to get stronger, but what will he do with that strength once his duty to face the kitsune is completed--if he survives that encounter anyways.
Sighing, he pushes those thoughts away, clenching his fists for a moment before approaching the door.
(OOC: were there supposed to be guards here? Or was I given a key? Sorry it's been a minute so I don't remember lol.)
Uninterested in the boards for obvious reasons, Corvus decides to accompany Drezmir to Leo's house. Something tells him that if any of his group were to get into trouble during this detour, it would have to do with this odd job. Anyone accompanying Jess or heading to the inn were most likely heading to safe places, but this? He raises his guard even more when approaching the weathered looking house. He ruffles his feathers, this place feels off. Perhaps it is simply the loneliness of it that is putting the Aarakocra on edge, or perhaps there really is something to worry about. He frowns at the house, and his metal claws clink within his sleeve. Like Drezmir, Corvus had not witnessed the young man's death, and while he does not feel the slightest bit guilty his death, he does feel some slight regret. Leo had fought alongside him, he had earned his respect and now he is gone. Such a pity.
"Aye it's ready for ye lass. Be careful it is mighty sharp! Now if I could only finish my confounded blade!"
Presenting to her is a blade of pristine steel. Draconic runes on the sides it had appeared. (+2 Dagger)
Drezmir had let his thoughts run rampant ready to face what lied ahead. Corvus was by his side surprisingly enough as it were. Drezmir could feel his snowflake mark glow trying to offer some sort of release. As he prepared to open the door there were a few calm collected footsteps that approached them. A tall and elegant elf of many years already seen a few times before. Clearing his throat he had begun to speak.
"I apologize for using magic to track down you're whereabouts. I had meant to discuss important matters in front of the castle but other duties had required my attention. I am sure you are here for something of great import. So with that being said I will wait out here, I had only wished to announce myself so that you would not feel I was lurking in the shadows stalking you're every move. I know adventurers can be weary of such a thing not that it isn't an understandable thing given the state of things."
The stern elf crosses his arms as he looks around to see the whole party is gathered together.
"Actually, I think I will meet you back at the shining guild's tavern. So that you're entire party may be able to hear my plight. Good luck sir Drezmir and sir Corvus."
Turning around the elf had locked eyes with Corvus for a moment.. As if he was inspecting for something. However after a moment Herron had cleared his throat before leaving the premise entirely.

It's been awhile for me too only part about PbP xD I believe there wasn't guards actually. ^^
Jess will thank the smith sincerely and promise him more business in the future when needed, then she will hurry back to the inn to see if she can catch any of the others there.
Curious about the runes on the dagger, when she has the chance, Jess will show it to the others in her group to see if any can decipher them.
(according to the character sheets, both Syk and Drez are familiar with draconic language, if that helps)
Drez raises an eyebrow when Herron appears, but quickly regains his former bearing. He'd completely forgotten about his intention of filling the elf in on what they'd learned thanks to their talk with the king and the prospect of fighting a chimera.
"Oh... no worries," Drez says after Herron's done talking. "I meant to talk to you anyways but things keep popping up it seems. Yes, we mean to head back to the Shining guild anyways after this, which shouldn't take long, so that works fine. The rest of our group should either be there or be on their way there by now."
He watches with slight curiosity as Herron turns and leaves. It seemed odd for him to track them down... he'd mentioned some sort of "plight" so does that have anything to do with the rose? Or is it something else entirely? He'll just have to wait and see.
"Alright then," he says to Corvus. "Let's get this over with shall we?" He proceeds to push open the door to the shack.
(@DM: no worries! lol @Jess:Drez will be more than happy to help with the runes if Sy doesn't do so before they return.)
Corvus merely turns his head when Herron emerges from the shadows. Though the warlock doesn't appear surprised. Herron had met Drezmir before, so it only makes sense that he would want to speak with a relatively familiar face whilst in a city that seems to think poorly of him and his country. He has a feeling he knows what at least part of the elf's plight is. He cocks his head slightly when Herron calls him "Sir" Corvus. Sir? Really? He is no knight. Ah well, it wouldn't hurt to have the elf refer to him with respect...if that is what it is anyway. The Aarakocra does not blink when the elf locks eyes with him. What is that look for?
Kocino will head to check out the flying boards with the hopes that they will be of use. “Hello, barkeep. I’d like to inquire about those badges being shown.” Kocino grabs a gold piece and slides it towards the bartender.
The blacksmith had picked up his heated blade while offering Jess a slight wave as she made her way out.
Meanwhile with Drezmir and Corvus, the young Aarakocra couldn't get a read on Herron. Just a straight face, one that seemed to remain a professional stance even in this backway alley. After offering them a formal bow with a hand across his chest they had parted ways. The door appeared to be locked, though luckily Drezmir had a key. When he uses it to engage with the lock a small hissing noise could be heard. Wires slowly releasing from the sides of the doors and the whirring of gears. Upon entering there are many statues and strange wired puppets but fanciful frescoes of adventurers and the like. There were photo's of a young Leonard with his family. His mother had a youthful round tomboyish appearance and his father hadn't looked so different from Leo. A bit more worn and a few more wrinkles but the hairstyle's were an exact match.
The house seemed rundown but rather nice, webs and dust had been collecting for some time it appears. There appeared to be a kitchen, living room, bedrooms and an upstairs as well. It seems the key vibrates more and more as they come close to the staircase.
The bartender still in white armor, now with some dirt and dinks. Flynn had smiled waving at Kocino.
"I gave you some novice badges if you remember, if you want to upgrade them you've gotta take a few quest from the board. It sounds like you're eager to check out air boarding now though. Also, don't worry about the gold friend. Where are you're other friends if I may so inquire? Hope they are doing well!"
Drez glances about the house, doing his best not to let his gaze linger too long on any of the pictures or other relics of Leo's past. Something about it felt to much like a shrine, if a little unkept. Instead he glances deliberately about, seeking the item he was asked to retrieve.
"A job..? I don't mean to be rude but I didn't notice a job from the board taken by you all or registered.. What is this job? The boards are really made for dragon hunting so.. There is a reason for that. Are you hunting dragons..?"
As Drezmir hears the vibration he can pin point it's at the side of the staircase a hum. The wall appears.. Thinner here and the key glimmers a bit, in the wall behind the dry plaster appears to be a small.. Thin keyhole his sharp senses seemed to have served him rather well today.
“No, not dragons.” Kocino tries to answer the question with tact, unsure of what information about their mission was public. ”My friend, the half-elf, has a measure of importance. He was tasked with investigating some issues at the border. We thought an aerial view would be beneficial.”
Drezmir moves towards the vibration, noting the keyhole, he frowns. Was he given another key?
(OOC: I would like to assume that he was given the key to this as well since he was asked to pick it up, but I'll wait for confirmation before moving forward with my post. If he wasn't given the key, was he at least told where to find it? If not thats totally fine, he can look around for it lol.)
Corvus remains silent as he follows the half-elf into the unkempt house. He glances around the dusty room with a flat expression. Clearly the boy hadn't spent much time here. He continues to follow Drezmir when he takes notice of the keyhole. Even still, the aarakocra remains silent.
Flynn had looked to Kocino with a puzzled expression but he had begun to explain regardless.
"Well.. You see the boards are reserved for a usual rank of guild member usually. Also, the actually do not fly on their own. They take powerful wind currents from strong wing beats like that of dragons. The Runes harness that power and alter the magical diffusion. Allowing them to pick up on the gust of wind and ride on the wind. It's a difficult and dangerous art that requires athletic or acrobatic skill."
OOC Drezmir was given the key yes ^~^
