Gwen raises an eyebrow a little surprised Corvus had thanked Kocino. Corvus could hear a voice.. A familiar one. Low and rumbling like a smoky mountain he could feel it yet again.
"You are living close to the edge of life and death aren't you pup? Well these battles are good for something. It seems you're body might be ready for a little more of my power that.. And a gift."
Corvus could feel a strange.. Calling inside of him. What was it? His magical powers had grown and so had his the strength of his body.
Gilded could feel a rumbling in his core, a boastful voice loud and proud could be heard within him. The voice was elegant yet booming.
"Another victory Gilded! Yes yes! Now my child it is time for you to choose an Oath. Make sure it is an oath befitting of our relationship!"
Gildaug was.. Zoning out lost.. Lost in what would be a vision. To what? Only Gildaug knew.
Drezmir could feel.. A strange burning in his blood it was warm.. And yet it put his hairs on edge. Jess's powers had begun to grow and so had her connection to nature. She could feel a voice reaching out to her.. It wasn't the ocean this time.
"Help.. Help me please, it's burning."
It was the voice of a woman and a vision in her mind was that of an orb of light. She felt.. Attuned in this moment. Able to feel the grass the wind.. It all felt apart of one big interconnected network. The breeze here and the wind had once touched the ocean no matter how far. She could feel the traces of the ocean and yet instead.. This new voice was asking for help. What was it?
OOC: IF anyone else has any plot points they want let me know ^^
I think Gildaug is about to go on a "Pilgrimage" away from the party. He can come back whenever he wants so that he doesn't get NPC's a whole ton xD
Gwen lifts the hood of each would be assassin but she didn't recognize a single one
"These aren't any guards I know."
The elven woman scoffs and looks to Drezmir as he press her for information.
"Here to torture me? I'm trained for this very predicament. I won't tell you a damn thing."
OOC: Does the party stabilize the one with death saves? If not I can roll for the other 3
Ahh wait just read Gilded thing guess my other request got buried forever ago. So a long while ago I said please let me do the gods/NPC's of the world for the inner talks and what not. If you have something you want to do with said god just let me know.
I already had something for Gilded and his oath planned ^^ So warn me before wanting to do an inner conversation.
Vengeance is an interesting oath with some dark tones to it. And is considered the second darkest oath a paladin can take in this world as well.
Gilded couldn't figure out Gwen purposely didn't help Corvus.
The Elf also remains silent to Gilded's intimidation
As the battles they have faced have all come to an end, Vex feels power grow within him, and as cold is his favourite weather, he becomes a circle of the arctic druid
Vex awakens from him being downed, covered in blood, but he looks upon the battlefield and smiles, as he has assisted his allies in winning. His eyes and glaive revert, and he looks to see if his scar was damaged by the stab wound. It was not. The scar that caused this power with his glaive and eyes was not harmed.
Jess could sense a voice, a sensation, but she kept it to herself for the moment. What’s with me and hearing voices, she wondered. Am I mad, perhaps? But she could feel that connection, that rightness. It was compelling…
"Please, I beg you. Reconsider. The other side is filled with life's consequences, and they are not what you might hope. Redemption can only be earned with virtues. Don't run from them, or lie to yourself about what they are. Please. I beg you. You have a chance."
Sloden persuasion + a d6 for Knowledge From A Past Life: 11 + 6
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Drezmir squats down next to the spy, “Look, I’m really getting tired of people dying at our hands. We are not soldiers or even mercenaries, we just want to help out where we can. That said, I don’t really want to kill you, and torture really isn’t my cup of tea. However, we are not in a position to take prisoners, so consider that for a moment. If you didn’t care about losing your life, why did you surrender? You could have fought on and perhaps even taken one of us down with you. Instead, you cast aside your weapons and lay down. So please, answer my questions.”
Corvus, still angry at the elf, looks a bit distracted when he hears the voice in his head. "Yes, I am ready for more power." He responds. He feels his body strengthen, "What must I do?" What could this gift be?

The elf looks up only to notice some of Sloden's markings, they seem revolted by these markings
"You're one to talk.. I wouldn't envy you're after life.. Death Worshipper.
But he was.. Persuasive maybe he spoke from personal experience. The elven see's Kocino try to stabilize her friend but he looked more like a clueless man poking a few bodies. (They all roll one more death save)
Human Male : (One fail already) 16
Tiefling Male: (One succeed already) 19
Elven Female: 2 7
He wanted to know why she surrendered? She let out a sigh to the Blood hunter and the Death Cleric.
"We are here to make sure the awakening goes off without a hitch. It's so close and yet.. I suggest you leave this place. Find work elsewhere if you don't wanna make any enemies."
Corvus could hear the voice chuckle at the conversation and Corvus's growth.
"Awakening? What drivel is that woman going on about?"
OOC So Vex is LV 2 Druid and LV 1 fighter?
I don't think Vex was downed. He regained HP from the second wind so the slashes he took didn't take him to zero he had a few hit points left.
Perhaps Gilded was tired from a long day because even with the odds on his side his threat held no real weight. So little the hooded figure was still looking for a way out instead. As he had swung the hooded figure flipped backwards barely avoiding the tip of his blade.
OOC Oh I was so confused cause it was round 2 by that post xD
Can you make a death save as Corvus please? Kocino's Vex Drezmir
Sloden
Gildaug can all make turns As Spy 1 and 2 they gotta make saves as well
Drezmir frowns, "What is this Awakening? How does this have anything to do with us? All we've been doing is helping the town."
Persuasion: 6
He stands up, "Anyone have opinions as to what we should do with this lot? Perhaps we should just tie them up...somewhere where they'll be found eventually, but in a place they'll be stuck long enough for us to get what we need to get done, done."
He notices Kocino trying to help the unconscious ones, then moves to try an help him stabilize them.
Gilded is interested in the answer the elf gives to Drez's question about the awakening. He then looks at Drez, then at Gwen. "Why doesn't Gwen just take this one back to town, and jail, with her. She can drop her off before she goes to the manor. Stop worrying about the others, they are gone."
Gilded hears Drez talk to the elf and then Gwen. "Answer him assassin, before I lose my patience."
Perception that Gwen didn't help Corvus in fight: 4
Intimidation at elf: 8

(6 hp gained)

Sloden approaches the elf.

Paladin - warforged - orange
Kocino walks over to the downed assassin and tries to stabilize them.

Jess would like to add guidance to Sloden’s efforts, if possible. She would put a reassuring hand on his shoulder and whisper, “Good work.”

You said during the fight for Vex to roll death saves.
He took exactly 11 hp after second wind I think
OOC:
Did I say Vex?
I remember saying Corvus allow me to look back real fast
Here we go
I had Vexs name near but I only wanted Corvus to roll saves ^^

“When ve sneak into the manor and loot it, I brought this.” and Vex grabs a crowbar from his bag. “Zis vill make it easier.”
