Tandor returns to their quarters, makes the minimal amount of small talk, and goes to his room. After praying to Pelor for forgiveness of his sins committed at the market, he washes as best he can in the wash basin, then goes to sleep. The next morning, he digs the new spices he purchased in the market from his pack, straightens his room, and then goes to the kitchen to prepare the morning meal.
((I'd say with proficiency in cook's utensils and pulling on his understanding of how spices interact with the food and each other, his Passive check on that would be a 16 with Wisdom (Cook's Utensils), so you don't need to roll, but could for flavor if you want a chance to top that, but also a chance to overdo it.))

Tandor gets a bit enthusiastic with his spicing, and while it's not bad, it's a bit muddled, perhaps a lighter approach here, and a bit more emphasis there and he'll dial things in.
((I'm considering Wisdom being the applicable ability for cooking by feel here, so another +4 brings it to an 11 all told.))

A page delivers a letter of thanks from Song Wen Ming, and in addition to the 10 gold that the job was advertised for, he has included a leather satchel.
"... you will find this rather mundane looking bag capable of carrying much more than what might be otherwise assumed. I foresee the possibility that you may need to make use of such storage on some future job, but choose to grant it to you know in anticipation of a long and fruitful working arrangement."
Milo gives a whistle through his bushy white moustache when he realizes that the simple courier job netted the organization a bag of holding.
((I'm assuming he was told about it being a test, and the ruckus with the food vendors.))
The next many weeks pass quickly, with the influx of support from House Kundarak and from jobs and opportunities provided by Song Wen Ming, it's a bit of a struggle at times to find downtime for yourselves. For his part, Milo has been diverting some funds to the building, to bring it into more functional shape.
"We've a decent little footprint here, I know some of you value your time away from work, but there's options we can use it for... could turn it into a proper guildhouse, and have rooms for everyone here, those of you staying elsewhere could move in, and we can just keep it as a base of operations. Or we could shift that to the backroom, and set up a shop here in the front, there'd be some permitting to jump through, but could either sublet the shop space, or run it ourselves if there's something we had in mind. Just throwing ideas out there."
Over the next month or so, each of you takes point on a job the party goes on, to somewhat varying success. Additionally, you do find some time to pursue your own interests.
This varies from person to person, but potential options could include the following, most of which have some chance of a complication arising:
Carousing - socializing among other folks, whether that be on the Citadel or one of the Founding Civilizations.
Potential benefit: gaining allied contacts that can provide help in some fashion
Cost/check: 10gp for lower class, or 50gp for middle class, Charisma (Persuasion) check
Crafting - may be limited by what you're wanting to craft, lmk and we can figure out if it's doable with resources/etc currently available.
Crime - doing something illegal
Potential benefit: 2-40X profit depending on target (Easy - Very Hard)
Cost/check: >25gp spent on gathering info, bribes, etc. Three checks: Dex (Stealth), Dex (Thieves' Tools) and choice of Int (Investigation), Wis (Perception) or Cha (Deception).
Gambling - let it ride
Potential benefit: up to double initial stake
Cost/check: at least 10gp initial bet. Three checks: Wis (Insight), Cha (Deception), Cha (Intimidation). Can use a tool proficiency check with a gaming set to replace one check before rolling it.
Pit fighting - fighting for cash
Potential benefit: Up to 200 gp in winnings
Cost/checks: Three checks: Str (Athletics), Dex (Acrobatics), and a Con check of d20 + dHD (so roll a d20 and a single roll of a Hit Dice, total is the Con result). One of these skill checks can be swapped out for an attack roll with a weapon prior to rolling.
Relaxation - just chill
Potential benefit: better able to recover from diseases and poisons, or other long term harmful conditions.
Religious service
Potential benefit: favors from a temple/order representative
Cost/checks: Either an Int (Religion) or a Cha (Persuasion) check.
Research
Potential benefit: pieces of lore about a focus of research.
Cost/checks: at least 50gp spend on materials, access, etc, with each additional 50gp adding +1 bonus to the Checks. Intelligence check, made with advantage if made with access to a particularly well stocked library or consulting with particularly knowledgeable folks (which you don't have currently unless there's something in a backstory that would).
Work - good honest work
Potential benefits: being able to live comfortably for the week, with potential for spending money.
Cost/checks: An ability check: Either Str (Athletics), Dex (Acrobatics), Int(Tools), Cha(Performance) or Cha(Instrument).

Future of the Building? (guildhall, business, other?)
Job you are leading: Roll a d20 to see how well it goes. Also roll a d10 which will be applied if it goes particularly good or particularly bad.
Feel free to add details of what the job might entail, or feel free to leave it to me.
Choose up to 4 downtime activities, and make the requested rolls for them. These can be mixed and matched however you'd like. If you wish to see how the job and your first downtime activity resolve first, you can roll those and get feedback from me before handling the others.
Feel free to add details of what it is you are attempting, or feel free to leave it to me.
Do feel free to ask questions on any of the above before making your rolls!

1. Future for the building: Mixtli would vote for having a fully stocked guildhall including a well filled workshop in the back to repair and build equipment, and of course stuff for the guildhall it self.
2. I'm not entirely sure on what kind of jobs we would get, but for Mixtli to have the lead I would assume it would have something to do with either a vulcano and rescueing people behind lava flows, or maybe the destruction of a property to make room for new properties. First one feels most interesting.
Job success roll: 19 The hopefully needed due to a nat20 roll: 3
3. Mixtli would love to go research more about what happened back in Tletepec, but doesn't think he know where to start yet. So he starts with some time working at various workshops
Working with Mason's or Tinker's tools: 16

Liber's time spent in service doesn't go as well as he'd perhaps like, his mind preoccupied with the questions he seeks answers to. He may find the small chapel/library to Azuth less inclined to help with further research.

He can't help be feel a bit of let down, but everyone was recovered safely, so it's a win, even if it doesn't quite feel like it.

ooc: How many weeks do we get? Tandor would definitely be doing some stuff. Scribing scrolls or perhaps other magical items (or low power certainly and with your approval), certainly experimenting with his cooking, just need to know what I've got to work with.
((You're able to find 4 weeks of individual downtime in between company jobs, each activity takes ~ 1 week, though crafting stuff is more variable. Beyond time and tools, magical items require special knowledge and often components. A common magical item takes a week and 50 gold, as well as a recipe and any additional ingredients. If you let me know what you are thinking, we can go from there. For scrolls, the XGE downtime says that you have to be proficient in Arcana to scribe a scroll, I'm assuming largely for flavor reasons, but I'd be willing to expand that to allow other spellcasters to make re-skinned scrolls not reliant on being proficient in Arcana. Both Cantrips and 1st level spells can be completed in a single day, for 15 gp and 25 gp respectively, plus any material components. 2nd level the cost goes up to 250gp, and takes 3 days. In lieu of Arcana proficiency, I'd say that Tandor could imbue a spell as a prayer into an object.))
((As far as cooking, could be different directions to go there, from just getting a job as a line cook somewhere, to opening a pop up soup kitchen as religious service, or something outside what was laid out above.))
