Gor looks at the others and wonders "Ok, I will ask the questions. How do you propose to steal the amulet with one of them awake and on guard. Won't they alert everyone else as you approach? I know they are your brethren but it is early morning...Why are you out here wandering? What business is it of yours that they have an amulet? Won't that raise suspicions?"
After much discussion, perhaps too much, the group who, for lack of a better name for the moment were calling themselves The Outlanders, decided on a simple plan. Drax would attempt to put the lone guard at ease, so that his friends could get in more advantageous position for a potential ambush.
As Drax approached the camp of the team of dragonborn, Mills worked quietly around the camp to the backside, and Gor assumed the form of a woodland creature to sneak up unnoticed as well. (OOC: Everyone but Drax please give me a stealth roll, remembering that if you have that 1 exhaustion level, it will be rolled at disadvantage. Gor, let me know what beast form you want to take.)
Drax made no attempt to hide his presence and approached the camp with palms raised to show he came in peace. The green scaled acolyte startled out of her reverie at his approach and quickly reached for a steel mace on her belt. "Halt!" She almost yelled, causing her comrades to stir slightly in their sleep, but for the nonce, they didn't wake. "Stop right there! Who are you that approaches so boldly in the night?!"

Seeing they are ready, Zanoth casts Armor of Agathys on himself.
Being somewhat exhausted he asks Lucky to help him get as close as a sneaky thief decides is reasonable without risking alerting the camp even if he makes a little noise.
[skill]Stealth]/skill] check: 4 ; not too close atm, hopefully in the 60-120 ft. range in the dark before any slight noise I make alerts them.

"OK big guy just follow me ill guide you in." Lucky then watches Zanoth walk off. "Well... ok"
Drax continues walking calmly, hands up into the circle of the firelight.
As he becomes fully seen, he drops his greataxe to the ground, hopefully in a non-aggressive manner.
"I come in peace comrades!!!! I am merely a wandering hermit, and I saw your fire from a distance and thought I would seek heat, friends, and a safe place for the night. If you would have me?"
Drax can clearly tell that the acolyte on guard duty did not believe his lie, she grips her holy symbol with white knuckles and slowly slides her hand down to the handle of her club looped through her belt. She casts her eyes about the area looking for unseen dangers.
Catching shadows moving in the underbrush outside the ring of their firelight she screams the alarm. "To arms! To arms! Foes attack!" All the dragonborn sleeping at her feet awake, and have just enough time to grab their weapons and magical foci to hand, but not enough to get up from their prone positions before The Outlanders make their move.
(OOC: Lucky and Mills rolled the highest initiative so you all act first. Have at them!)
We need to state which ones we are attacking (the 5 of them are in the OOC thread.. 2 warriors, 2 “big” casters, 1 “little” caster.) Would suggest casters, less HP and they can summon undead !

Zanoth hears the warning shout, but is still a good distance away. Bursting from cover he starts charging towards the group, shouting at the top of his lungs to distract the warriors and calling forth a ghostly skeletal hand that reaches for the heart of the already injured Dragonborn priest.
/OOC
Move: Run forward 30 ft. (so now 60 ft. distant).
Action: Chill Touch, to hit 15 for 1 necrotic, targeting the injured one.
Drax nods.
“So, we are in agreement? At least majority? I go in, steal the amulet, and we run. And if things go bad you guys are there for backup?”
Like being a player, love dming.
I AM YOUR DM! BOW DOWN BEFORE THE GODS! XD
