Also, because someone asked about the Fey and the Fell:
The feywild and shadowfell do indeed exist, albeit in... different forms. The sun and moon, Cervi and Corvo, respectively, came to a grinding half when the gods disappeared. Or, as we now learned, died. Their people left en masse, traveling the stars, some even before mortality set foot in Heaven. From Corvo, beings touched by dismal negative energy, and from Cervi, those touched by boundless positive energy. Fell and Fey.
Essentially, the natives of the Feywild and Shadowfell are refugees from the satellites of our world, who have left their own homes for whatever reason. Some came to our planet, while others ventured into Heaven.
Other planes of existence were certainly a thing in the past, but when the gods disappeared, so did any interplanar travel. Those beings trapped here stayed here, against their will, most eventually dying out or forging alliances with mortality. While the Fey and Fell have physical locations, no physical location is known for the outer planes.

For the Elemental Planes, anything you're happy to share at this point for those places and peoples, too?
Something Special: When Hazel used her spells to help the townspeople, she asks them to pay her with trinkets from faraway places. In her collection, she was proud to have a rock worked smooth by the sea, a statuette of a long-forgotten god, and a jewel that was from an ancient island tomb. Now, who's to say if the stories told by the townsfolk were real but the joy Hazel got from them was. She had no reason to suspect that they were false. They only added value! Who wouldn't want to trade for these items? If she heard them whisper at night, surely they were just trying to tell her stories of where they came from!
If you do end up deciding to go for pilot, I think the trinkets on the pilot's chair / dash, particularly as you pick up more screaming deity parts and they get weirder and weirder (presumably) towards the sigil wall could make for a really unique cockpit. Would be really fun to see what you did with it.
Your Time Zone: GMT +13 Your RPG Experience: I’m relatively new to DnD - I joined this site last year. As such, I lack a bit of knowledge and combat experience. I have, however, participated in many pbp campaigns, and have plenty of experience with text-based roleplaying. A Fun Fact About You: My favourite possession is a Venus Flytrap plant, which I have named ‘Count von Snapula,’ and lovingly hand feed insects. (Is that fun enough? Please don’t cry.)
Character Name & Pronouns: Nova Sol-Altair (she/they) Character Species: Cosmic Teifling (Legacy of the Stars) Class: Rouge (I’m thinking Soulknife, mostly because it sounds cool. But it also seems somewhat complicated, so maybe not. I’m honestly open to whatever fits the party). Backstory:
Abandoned on the streets of a city torn apart by civil war, 8-year old Nova Sol-Altair was already well acquainted with the fear and desperation that plagued the civilisations left unguarded by the divine. Unwanted by her own parents, the young tiefling was left fend for herself in the last remnants of Old Cascadia - an environment full of hunger, pain, crime and death. Miraculously, she managed to survive for a few months, living by scavenging and begging, her life depending on the harsh city’s scraps of kindness.
Then winter hit.
Suddenly, there were no longer kind strangers lending Nova their spare change - they needed every last coin to ensure their own survival, protect their own livelihoods. Any food scraps from sources Nova used to rely on were quickly snatched away by quicker, fiercer urchins before a young, helpless child such as herself could even get a look in. The Teifling would go days at a time with no food, surviving purely off soot blackened snow that lay on the frozen ground, her only source of warmth a ripped cloak and thin blanket, the only items she had left from their previous home. But they were not enough, could not protect them from the unforgiving temperature and lack of nutrition which sooncaught up, and Nova fell ill. After a few days of feverish coughing, the girl was so sick she was not able to move. She simply curled up in a ball against the wall of a closed down shop, tears and snot turning to icicles that frosted her face, snow biting her ashy, drawn face. Here she sat waiting for death to claim her; barely conscious, hardly able to draw in breath let alone move or plead for help from passing citizens. At last, Nova had completely given up hope, snow-frosted lashes fluttering shut for the final time, when a tall, cloaked figure appeared before her, their face hidden save for their mouth. She felt the warm, smooth skin of a delicate hand upon her knee as a soft, feminine voice cut through the frozen air. It was gentle but stern, soft but commanding, shrouded in layers of unidentifiable emotions. “Young child. Will you repay me for my help?” Nova, desperate to live, willing to give anything for warmth, for safety, simply nodded, the only action her feeble body would allow. A small smile appeared on the mouth of the mysterious woman, who bent down and picked up the freezing young Teifling, carrying her off into the night.
This woman was Phyrra Venfiel, an Aasimar rouge who roamed the streets of Cascadia, making a living in shadowy ways. Phyrra became Nova’s mentor, her guardian and perhaps even her mother-figure throughout the years in which they lived together. She taught her the ways of the rouge, the trickery, the stealth, the art of the blade. When Old Cascadia eventually fell and the new city arose, the two migrated there, adapting to life under the rule of the man who called himself the emperor. Nova grew up to become cunning and mysterious, a figure wrapped in shadows, just like her mentor before her. The two were not dissimilar, but they were certainly not the same. For one, Nova was kinder than Phyrra, her time on the streets granting her an empathy that caused her to steal and lie more for the benefit of others than herself, gifting her spoils to those who needed it more. It did not take long for her to make a name for herself among the commoners, the combination of her kind actions and striking appearance making her something of a local hero. Despite this, Nova did not live for the streets as her mentor did. Roaming around taverns and inns, jumping from rooftops, stealing from the rich, giving to the poor - that was all well and good. But Nova longed for more, to do something grand. She wanted to touch the sky, to walk where others had never dared. Perhaps that was why, when news of ‘the journey’ arrived, she signed up. She did not expect to be selected, hadn’t really wanted to leave her life behind. But when the selection of the four brave servants came, it was far too late to withdraw, and Nova found themselves counting down the days before they would be forced into a flying ship, and would have to face the vast expanse of the sky itself.
Something Special: So you know how in real life people can (very rarely) have something called Tetrachromacy, where they have an extra cone in their eyes and can supposedly see something like a fourth dimension of colour? Nova has that. She can just… see more colours. Very occasionally this helps her, allowing her to see something which may not be visible to the standard eye. It can also be a hindrance, causing painful aural migraines. Most of the time, it’s just a fun little quirk they have going for them. Character Role: Preferably pilot, but gunner could maybe work? General Physical Description:

Shit, I forgot about them
The planet now has four new satellites! These orbit much farther out, and are largely untamed places. Their inhabitants did not flee after everything went down, and in general they aren't very wise places to go. On account of the ripping elemental force, and all that. There has been talk of colonizing them, but it's largely just an idea at the moment.

Backstory: Peregrin has lived a tough life, even before the gods fell. His parents died when he was young, and when he grew up he still was poor. In this time he learned the importance of grit, resilience, and perseverance. He relied on thievery to survive, but did his best to steal from only those who could afford it. When the gods fell, he too was shaken but realized that there was an opportunity. While everyone mourned the fall of the gods, Peregrin stole into the homes and vaults of the wealthy, not because he didn't respect the gods but because he had no time to pay his respects.
