Well guys... stealth is not my strength... so... oops. Kind of want to edit the post to say something like "Cozubia, sensing the need for silence yells to his friends, 'Hey guys, maybe we should be quiet!'"
I have no problem with players editing posts once they know what the roll is. The post will only warn about changed dice if you delete the code for the roll.
I hope avoiding bats is a use for Dexterity. If that doesn't work, I have punch.
These are the two things I can do.
Now that paranoia has set in, I’m taking bets on if we’ve set off a domino effect of disaster. Place your bets; 5 to 1 on 2 effects. 3 to 1 on 3. An unprecedented 1.1 to 1 on four or greater.
In an effort to scare the bats, I try to roar like a badass. Instead, I shriek like... well, like I actually do when I see a spider. Oh how art imitates life!

You can always add additional narration to the post after seeing the results of the dice roll.
Hey everyone, with this combat coming to an end, I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is feeling about how combat is being handled. I know understanding the battlefield is the most difficult part but I am being pretty lenient on movement and placement of characters to compensate.
- Like how it's going
- A little difficult, maybe a small change (include what you would like changed)
I like how it's going, i like keeping track of who's posted to figure out my initiative (posting after the same person for rounds after first). I think it's alright, theatre of the mind is working fine for combat, at least for now with smaller encounters haha
I think it is working well as long as there is not too much lag time. Maybe if there are larger encounters, a map can be used, but i am good with theater of the mind.I think the hardest is when I have questions; most of the time I just do things and figure I will be corrected if I did something wrong.
Whoops... just realized I posted that in the wrong place. However to add to the actual topic at hand, I'm digging the way it is flowing. It gives plenty of time to think your actions through. And theater of the mind is always fun.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with that. Feel free to ask in this thread as well and wait for a response before taking a turn.
A slower pace, but it is to be expected. So far, the stacking I’ve been doing for held actions and reactions have not become too much of an issue.
Yeah, held actions and reactions were going to be the biggest difficulty for this style. But I will always work in for of the player any time there is a confusion.

Mordekai Da, Teifling Monk - Level 3
Not sure if I have advantage or not, so I will roll without. If I do, let me know if I can add sneak attack and roll again.
I'll wait to calculate damage until I hear back.

For held actions, players may take these actions on top of their next turn action all in one post.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was considered hidden, but I figured not, just very stealthy. :)
Swinging and missing! Carmen should have stayed in the tunnel and kept shooting with her ineffective arrows.
I forgot to roll damage, so I edited it into the post wherein I cast the spell. It's 3 damage. Not a lot.
Conlaed — 3 Cleric (Knowledge Domain), Wood Elf
