Gan-Re nods along and pretends that he has understood everything said 'Ah an excellent plan. So if I fail to be subtle then I will do my best to fail in a spectacular way and break the chain or maybe the clothes it is attached to, if nothing else that will leave an opening for Lady Hasahi. Once we have the watch, who should negotiate with Witch and Light to obtain information on the missing child. Can we get our new friends to assist with that as well?'
Valrieth suggests, "I think that Finley is our best negotiator. He convinced Kettlestream to give Candlefoot back his voice! But I'll try to help if I can."
He says to Val in a whisper 'I have heard stories of these Rescuers fighting mighty crocodiles and flying all the way to Osse, I would not want to get on their bad side by using their name as they sound formidable.'
Val looks at Gan-Re with a bemused expression and laughs uncomfortably. "Wha....?" She has no idea what he's talking about.
No ticket punch is needed and anyone can walk in and take a seat .
The sun has already set and it is now night time with the moon and stars shining overhead.
Walk in when ready
Val looks around, not seeing Burly anywhere. But then she gets distracted as she realizes that night has fallen. Before she gets closer to the brighter lights by the Big Top, she looks up, even arching her back a little, to gaze at the stars overhead. You see her extend her arm all the way out, hold out her thumb and index finger, and sight along her arm as she seems to be making some sort of measurement of the moon's position. She finally straightens up and looks at the party brightly, "Auspicious signs! Based on the position of the moon, this is a good night for our plan."
The party can go find a rain barrel if they would still like to move one over to near the entrance.
With Val's perception she does see a rain barrel next to a stall near the Big Top Tent.
(OOC: Maybe. It depends on what Val thinks that she can do with Shape Water. See my comments in the message thread. If she's not sure, I guess she'll attempt it. If it doesn't work, then she'll at least learn something about the limits of that cantrip.)
The party can go find a rain barrel if they would still like to move one over to near the entrance.
With Val's perception she does see a rain barrel next to a stall near the Big Top Tent.
Given the distance and the difficulty of moving a full barrel, Val decides not to attempt it. If there are any buckets or pails around, we could each fill a bucket or two and carry them over to the tent and set them down near the entrance. That shouldn't be so conspicuous.
Then Valrieth is ready to go inside the Big Top. Then the party needs to find a spot big enough where Finley can safely open the Portable Hole. Otherwise, he'll need to do that outside the tent, and Gan-Re is going to have to fly out of the tent with the watch to Finley.
We also need to find a spot where Gan-Re can inconspicuously turn invisible. We can't have him sitting in the front row of the audience and then suddenly vanish! We don't know how long the invisibility lasts, so he should wait until Dirlagraun comes "on stage" to eat the cupcake. But then he'd need to get over to Mr. Witch so that he's in position when the diversion happens.
Will Finley hang out near the spot where he needs to open the portable hole? Or will he sit in the audience with Val until Gan-Re vanishes?
And if Val is seated in the audience area, how close can she get to the staff entrance where we expect Mr. Witch to be standing? She doesn't want to be too far away at the start of the heist.
Gan-Re heads into the tent with the cupcake. He tries to find a secluded area close to the employee entrance and will wait for the distraction before eating the cupcake. He places a small bucket of water on the ground next to himself, just in case.

"Just try and take it when there is a distraction front and center, ah'll be watching Mr. Watch like a hawk ta see if'n ah need to move ta th' back wall with th' hole or ta try to cause a disturbance or signal one o' our allies ta do somethin'. Th' only backup plan ah can think o' is a distraction with what little time we have or ah can catapult it out th' main entrance."Finley says to everyone before they go inside. He moves in to try and find a place where he can see the target.
Hisashi makes her way through the crowd subtly as possible to find her position near the entrance closest to Mr. Witch. She tries to blend in with the crowd and uses her small size to find a corner or crevice to sit in. (Stealth if needed in game log: 21)
Valrieth tries to sit or stand in the regular audience area. She's looking for a spot that meets as many of these conditions as possible(in order of priority):
Within about 60 ft. of the staff entrance where Mr. Witch will be. That way, if needed, she could dash over to help or reach that area with an Entangle spell.
She wants as clear of a view of Mr. Witch as she can get.
She would like to be at the front of the audience section so that she doesn't have to look over any of the Big People to see the performance.
She would like to have a good route to get from the audience area to the performance area.
(OOC: What separates the audience from the performance area? Some sort of divider or railing? That is, if Val needed to get out into the main performance area for some reason, could she go over or under the divider? Or are there gaps in the divider that she could slip through?)
Once she finds a spot, Val takes her seat and waits for the show to start.
Once everyone is seated or in some position, the light dim and hush falls over the crowd. A second later, a spotlight illuminates a lithe, elven figure sitting in a silver hoop, suspended above the center ring by silk ropes. The elf wears a dazzling suit of diamond pane mirrors and a pair of butterfly wings. His scepter is topped with a spinning vane.
"Welcome, one and all, to this evening's extravaganza! I am Mr. Light. Prepare to be delighted!"
Palasha the mermaid serenades the audience from a clamshell bathing pool, Candlefoot the mime plays silent games with audience members, and faerie dragons with bright streamers tied to their tails perform dazzling acts of synchronized flying as a troupe of acrobats, clowns, and fire-breathers parade about. Dirlagraun dances and once finished Mr. Light stands with his scepter.
Mr. Witch stands by the back entrance with a hat box in his hands
"Its Time to Crown the Witchlight Monarch" Light starts swirling around the scepter and heads straight for Val. Mr. light gestures for Val to head down.
Gan-Re continues to hang back and wait for the distraction, so that he can become invisible and get the watch. For once he doesn’t want to draw attention to himself.

Mr. Witch stands by the back entrance with a hat box in his hands
"Its Time to Crown the Witchlight Monarch" Light starts swirling around the scepter and heads straight for Val. Mr. light gestures for Val to head down.
Valrieth was so focused on watching for the distraction that she had forgotten about the crowning of the Witchlight Monarch. As Mr. Light starts heading toward Val, she looks behind her in curiosity about who is being selected. It takes a moment for her to realize that Mr. Light is gesturing to her. As the audience members beside her start to clap and congratulate her, she stands and looks around, initially unsure what to do next.
With the assistance the other audience members and the carnival hands, she eventually makes her way from the audience seating down to Mr. Light, wondering what this means for their plans. They make quite a pair in the ring. Mr. Light, tall and lithe, still plays to the crowd with broad gestures and exaggerated expressions, while Val walks forward numbly with a dazed expression, standing only 3 feet tall. The harengon looks out of place in her plain brown robe with an unadorned wooden shield slung over her dusty pack, especially standing in front of Mr. Light in his dazzling costume. Val doesn't want to give anyone away, so she tries to focus her attention on Mr. Light. Once she gets close, she drops a clumsy, unpracticed curtsey and then stands and waits for whatever happens next.
Val wonders briefly whether her selection means that they're on to the party's plans. She searches Mr. Light's face but cannot see anything other than his performance for the crowd (Insight 8 (in game log)).
Finley hesitates as Val goes with Mr. Light, but with all the eyes of the place going to be on the crowning, he pulls a silver coin out of his pocket as he tries to get into view of their accomplices and blinks a light a few times with the word now interspersed between flashes, but only when Dirlagraun or Palasha is looking his direction. Once he see's that they noticed or if they don't he begins making his way back through the crowd to try and get into position near the tent wall.
Standing near to Mr. Witch is Candlefoot and Dirlagraun.
Mister Witch removes the crown of golden butterflies from the hatbox and places it on Val's head. Mister Light then knights the monarch with his scepter. Happy clowns shower all three in glitter. Mr. Light escorts the monarch on a circuit of the stage while Palasha the mermaid sings a joyous song and pixies flutter all around her.
Valrieth suggests, "I think that Finley is our best negotiator. He convinced Kettlestream to give Candlefoot back his voice! But I'll try to help if I can."

Yes there is a divider. So anyone in the stands will need to hop over if you want to reach the back entrance area.
(OOC: Nice! Hisa's a sneaky little dragon.)
