Alben heads around to the back of the shop (hopefully with the others) to await Keygen opening the back door. Keeping an eye on the area and the 2 on the roof as he goes, looking for any extra movement as well: perception: 17
(There really isn't a back door, I think the confusion is in Keygen's wording "the safe in the back of his shop". He meant it's is the back workroom in his shop.)
Alben and Oreus circle the building and don't find a second door they arrive back to the main door right as is opening.
Laladak will ponder at the fear the Locksmith has of Shadow until his group starts to react to an unseen foe. Laladak smiles. He yells to the Locksmith bumbling his way through the dark workshop, "Take your time coming down those stairs Pops. I don't want you to hurt yourself." He will say to the group, "I think we have company." Then he will yell out to whoever would listen, "You can either watch us like sackless turds, or you can try to prove yourself to your Boss Daddy. Make your choice." Laladak draws his Great Grand Pappi's Greatsword.
After 10 rounds Keygen unlocks tge door and lets you in. Tyris makes in just in time as the door is starting to close again sliping in with the others. "Let me show you the safe" he says while jestering to Shadow and Alben to stay out of sight. Leading those who join him through the curtain and back to a second set of curtains "Here is the safe what do you think?" As he says the he mimes someone climbing the stairs looking down and then jumping, ready to attack
Skulk initiative 17
Let me know who followed he into the curtained alcove. Who ever rolled higher than the skulk can act.
Shadow will wait till the shopkeeper and any of his allies to walks through but before the skulks turn and then will roll two handfuls of ball bearings under the Curtain and listen and wait for the skulk to jump down.
Upon seeing Alben, the skulk jumps down (I'm going to assume Alben went last, and Laladak and Tyris followed right after Keygan. So Laladak has entered the 2nd curtained alcove while Tyris is passing through, Oreus is on the square with the bottom left of the rug, and Alben is in the bottom left square with 2 curtains behind and to the left of him. The skulk jumps down in front of the secret door.)
Skulks acrobatics with disadvantage from the Ball Bearings (bag of 1,000) that Shadow literally just tossed out. 11, he falls prone and takes 4 falling damage.
Both Laladak and Tyris are pointed in the wrong direction to take a readied action, and Oueus has disadvantage on his readied action, but Alben can fire his firebolt.
(Disregard Keygan's mime actions posted above)
After Oreus (if any) and Alben take readied actions, then we go into initiative as stated above.
As he is prone unless you are within 5 feet of him attacks have disadvantages.
Shadow will move through the curtain when he hears the skulk jump down and attack him (advantage because he is prone)
shortsword Attack: 17 Damage: 7 plus 5 sneak attack
dagger Attack: 26 Damage: 6
I will use this after after the readied actions as I let you toss the BB's.
And thinking about it for a minute, I believe you need a perception check of DC 15 to move through the curtain and still have advantage. (Moving through might give you disadvantage from the curtain districting you as you pass through, and not knowing exactly where he is, thus canceling out the advantage)
(I need to learn to wait before assuming, I know what everyone is going to do, I had assumed both you and Alben would stay out of sight until battle had begun. Sorry again for any confusion!!(
Grimacing, Tyris heads back around to rejoin the others at the shop.
Alben heads around to the back of the shop (hopefully with the others) to await Keygen opening the back door. Keeping an eye on the area and the 2 on the roof as he goes, looking for any extra movement as well: perception: 17
