Shadow moves towards the opened doorway to the east, as he enters the eastern hallway he hears the sounds of a roaring fire and hammers striking metal. Looking through the opened door to the north, Shadow sees a big room that is obviously a barracks. These barraxk,which hold four rows of iron-wrought bunk beds, csn accommodate 32 guards, although it looks like only half of them are being used. Currently the room is empty.

An iron cage dangles from the ceiling in one corner of this rectangular chamber. Trapped inside are two enormous beetles that shed a hellish light. The room’s furnishings include a large bed covered with animal hides, its corner posts shaped like dwarven sentinels. Next to the bed sits an iron trunk with claw-shaped feet and four chains bolted to its sides.

Oreus is disgusted by the sight, luckily he can attack one from outside the room: he does that and then retreats a little backwards to let the others contribute
Oreus is able to kill one of the creatures (I'm going to assume L2 unless you say otherwise) with his reach weapon. Clearing the way for the rest of the party to move into the room. He then backs away from the door.

The doors should open into the chamber beyond, but they don't open. They appear to be locked or perhaps blocked.

As Shadow moves into the room to check out the trunk, two unnoticed blobs of flesh materialize into hellish creatures and move to attack Shadow.
L1 Fist Attack: 15 Damage: 3. The first creature's attack caught Shadow by surprise, and the fist struck home.
L1 Fist Attack: 7 Damage: 2, the creature misses Shadow.

(I think the space just north of Alben should have LoS on L1, and any cover from doorway shouldn't matter with Sharpshooter)
