"Oh we're not friends," says Irgon. "That imp's name is Stinky - he had to stay there in the guard room, he wouldn't have come with me even if I'd asked him. Stinky only obeys Kaltis and Kaltis told Stinky to never leave the guard room, unless certain conditions are met. I have no idea what they are, probably if the prisoners escape or something. Stinky gets bored though, he plays cards with us and sometimes torments the prisoners."

Neither of you happen to have keys to the cells do you, we might want to go in and torment the prisoners ourselves?
Tell you what, how about we play another little game, can you both pretend you have captured me and take me in to put me in a cell, we want to have some fun with Stinky.
RL whispers to Esa, do you think that would be enough of a distraction for you to follow and magic missile the imp? We probably want to let the kitchen staff know whats going on, im surprised they havent woken up yet
Irgon readily agrees, but the burly guard, whose name is Leth, takes a bit more convincing. It seems Leth is not keen on heaping more torment on the prisoners, while Irgon - who ironically is the more friendly of the two - has a callous disregard for the prisoners' welfare. In the end both agree to prank Stinky but RL and Esa have to agree not to hurt them badly. Irgon has the keys to the cells on him.
They tell Esa and Rustling Leaves that the kitchen staff are probably pretending to be asleep - they've had to do that or just mind their own business often for their own survival.
"Put your hands behind your back," suggests Irgon, "as if you have your hands tied."
Then when everyone is ready you can march into the kitchen then the guard room.
RL nods and drops his head to look like he is defeated and holds his hands behind his back as if his hands are tied and waits for Esa's signal to go, once that comes he will follow the first guard into the outer prison room.
Grimbald takes out a 50foot of rope. He measures 25 feet of the rope and cuts it. He whispers, 'I'm guessing there's a guard drake in those woods, I shoulda thought of that. Whatever it is, we can't afford a ruccas. If it gets any closer, climb up this rope.'
You all step over the prone bodies of the kitchen staff and Irgon opens the guard room door. The torchlight shows the imp fiddling with Irgon's cards on the other side of the table, and flying up, trying to disguise it was doing so. It glares suspiciously at everyone.
"More prisoners!" announces Irgon.
"What? Since when? Where did they come from? Who brought them in?" asks the imp in a high pitched, nasally voice.
The imp is blown away and nothing left except a black oily cloud which dissipates and his angry shriek echoing around the room. Leth and Igron look shocked.
Esa rushes back to Igron. "He was so unkind to you! Spreading all those horrible rumours about you. A true friend like me couldn't let a fiend like that ruin your reputation!"
Igron's face relaxes. "Look, we're going to have to do some quick talking around this. We'll just deny knowing anything I think is the best course of action."
He gets out the keys and unlocks the cell doors, one after the other.
Baron Jonn Stockmer looks surprised to see a shifter and a pixie. Then sees the two guards and hope dims in his eyes. The baron does not look good, thin, sickly. His two sons are in the same cell and have blackened and bruised skin all over. They look at you with dull eyes.
In the other cell Amirah Stockmer is holding Alesia Gravelstoke. You almost do not recognise Alesia, she has been beaten badly, her face is swollen so badly her eyes are shut. Her head and shoulders are resting in Amirah Stockmer's lap.
The older woman herself has a black eye. That doesn't deter her from fixing you all with a stern gaze. "What now?" she asks.
Esa whispers to RL, "We need to hurry up and finish this." She glances towards the two guards, tapping her dagger.
She turns to the prisoners and says rudely, "Just stay where you are. We'll sort you lot out shortly."
Esa points to the door back to the kitchen. "Igron, maybe you should check on the kitchen staff? I think I heard one of them calling for you." She waits for him to turn around, moving behind him.
"Oh what now? I've told them before not to bother us. They need a lesson." Igron turns to head towards the kitchen, an irritable and ugly look on his face.

Esa draws her dagger and jams it into the back of Igron's neck as fast and hard as she can."
RL will take the keys over to the baron and give a short bow, 'we travel with Augustin, do any of these unlock the door in this tower to the outside?. Where did they take old kellar please?'
Leth please get in a cell, you seem a better sort. Maybe we will have a use for you after this.
RL will also turn to Esa, I know Augustin didn't want to battle today but I think we should finish this tonight. The iron circle leaders will take this out on the townsfolk tomorrow if they are still alive. What do you think?

Esa, ignores RL, still focussing on jamming her dagger as far into Ignor's neck as possible.
"If it's alright with you, I'd like to come. I've been thinking about deserting for some time and this time as a guard has made up my mind. Plus I doubt I would live long as a failed guard."
Amirah Stockmer chimes in. "You don't deserve to live long as a failed guard, you did nothing to protect us. Even being an Iron Circle member should be a death sentence. But.. I suppose you were not unkind to us, not like that weasel Igron, and you did slip us extra food under the imp's nose."

15 force damage

Esa rushes back to Igron. "He was so unkind to you! Spreading all those horrible rumours about you. A true friend like me couldn't let a fiend like that ruin your reputation!"
She begins looking around the room.
So friends can you please unlock the prisoners doors, we would like to get a look at them. I promise we will not harm them physically.
Igron struggles outwardly - "You don't understand! This is going to cause some major problems! Why would you do that?"
He is in danger of breaking his charm.
New saving throw: 16.
Leth seems to be having more of an inward struggle. Either that or he is not too concerned about the implications of the imp's demise.
