It seems that there is another bullywug inside the Dragonskull, a big one. It also has magical powers. It too lets out a loud and disorienting croak that reverberates around the cavern. Only Augustin and Vakiel are in range of the magical effect and they must make a Constitution save.

Vakiel charges straight in, his face contorted by the rage that possesses him, unnerving the bullywugs. He will be amongst them before they can react.
