Reed's arrow misses Vaaz, but Roo and Virro continue to barrage him with hits to where he is looking a bit more worse for wear.
Once Roo rides around the man, he tracks the rooster and after being stabbed twice he glares at Roo 'Stor, giving him the Stunning Gaze - Roo is now stunned until the end of Roo's next turn.
Satisfied with that, he turns to Wilfred and attacks him with his daggers. The first slices Will across the chest, and he feels the aura of murder...causing the damage to cut deeper (dam 18)
His next attack goes wide as Wil hunches over from the first one.
Wilfred takes the hit hard. He does not like this, but they need to finish it. He takes a deep breath to calm himself, then swings his Glaive down viciously at Vaaz!
Bonus: Second Wind - 5HP healed. Action: To Hit 19, Damage 14 Slashing. Movement: Staying where he is.
Just as Vaaz was looking for his next target, Wilfred slashed his glaive right across his chest, opening up the cavity. He falls over in a heap and Roo is no longer stunned.
Virro walks forward to help Reed, helping to turn his pockets inside out, then he proceeds to cut off either his index or middle finger. “Another for the bag… some people just don’t listen…“ he says, talking to himself.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Archie peeks her head around the wall and sighs seeing that the excitement is over, "Ahhh shit..." She walks over and picks up the skull guys daggers and turns to Roo, waggling a finger toward him, "I'm spent, no more magic and no more healing or anything from me, I spent the last of it putting you back on your feet and then you run off to go get knocked out again!? You gotta think Roo! My healing is a patch, a jolt to get you up and about, but you're nowhere near fighting fit! Look at you, one hit and you'd be back on your ass... Theres a point where fighting for honour becomes dying for stupidity, and then what would we have done? Is that what gallus would want? Is that what glory of morning would want? You have us to depend on too, and whether you like it or not we'll fight on your side and for your honour, even if you can't." To punctuate the point Archie slams a fist into the dead guys head, breaking the skull of his face. She lets out a restrained and frustrated growl as she walks away to sit down and let the others decide where to go from here.
Wilfred watches coldly as the body slumps to the floor. He takes a deep breath, then relaxes a bit. He goes up to Roo' and kneel down. "How are you doing there, buddy? You took some pretty mean hits." Once he's sure Roo' is all right, he'll get up and dust himself off.
"Alright now. What's left to be done, hmm? There's the statues up there. Last time I tried taking something from a statue, it smacked me upside the head. Can someone check them for magics? Thanks! That spear looks nice!" Wilfred looks to see if there is anyone who can help him with the statues.
Morty scratches his head as Reed asks him about funds for the cults transgressions.
"Well, down back the way we came with the little island in the water? Those south stairs will take you to the treasure Amrik brought.. some deal was made for that treasure, I don't know exactly what it was, but it can't be good. Otherwise, I know the stuff they plunder from above they stash behind me in this room." And he turns while saying so and walks into the room behind him.
Those that follow him see nine crates scattered amongst a decently large dank room. Scurrying among the crates are rats, and few stop what they are doing as those enter the room, their beady eyes looking at you with noses twitching.
Roo shakes his head, his comb and wattle wiggling about as he blinks and then looks toward the fallen form of Vaaz.
"Oh buck!" He shouts, hopping down off Glory of Morning and wincing a bit as he reaches up to graze his fingers across the injury in the pocket of his shoulder. There's still a little blood on it as he examines his fingers. "Motherclucker cut me deep. I don't know what just happened. He looked at me with that weird beakless face of his and I just froze. By the glory of Gallus but he was ass ugly! Froze my very feathers!"
He struts sideways toward Vaaz as he says this, fluffing his feathers as he goes, before grabbing ahold of his bootlaces and beginning to pull furiously at them until both boots are untied.
"Remember when you went down in one of the early fights and I spent all of my magic putting you back on your feet?" Roo says, looking toward Archie as he ties the corpse's bootlaces together. "Perhaps you have some things to learn about honor. This featherless sack-of-shit was the nastiest thing we'd fought up close, and I wasn't going to leave Wilfred alone with him even if it meant certain death. And I'd venture to say that if I hadn't got in the hits I had he'd still be on his feet murdering the cluck out of all of us. How honorable is it to stay back and save my own tail feathers as he stabs Wilfred to death just because I got a second chance?"
The little Gallus struts again, hopping up onto Vaaz's chest and beginning to scratch about before pulling at shirt laces and buttons with his beak. He returns his attention to Archie.
"For what it's worth, I appreciate your effort. That fight could have gone a completely different way if he'd started dropping us one by one. I doubt he saw me getting back into the fight so quickly, which is probably why I was able to hurt him so bad. Well done. Buc buh."
He puffs up, flapping his arms about as he does, and leans back to crow as loud as he can while standing on Vaaz's chest. Then he hops down and moves toward Wilfred as he kneels down.
"Well done Wilfred! Well done...what? Yes yes, I'm fine, thanks to Archimedes. That featherless cluck cut like the butcher himself. Still hurts but I shall survive, I believe. Now then, what's that, Mortlock? Spoils you say? Ah yes, the second best part of battle, after the throes of combat afterall."
Roo enters the room and struts toward the nearest beady eyed rat, puffing himself up as he begins shooing away as many rats as possible.
"Be gone with you, you corn thieving furred heathens! Away I say!"
Reed frowns after rummaging through Skull-Faces pockets. He shows Virro that all there is are five silver coins and a gold coin. But then he perks up when Mort mentions not one, but two treasure rooms.
"Ah, think of the good we can do with their treasure," Reed says as he goes to follow Mortlock. "Think of all the taverns and shops we can help out by spending their evil coin."
He enters the room after Mortlock and takes a look around.
"Don't worry, mum. I'll send some home too," Reed says quietly.
Corlith looks around at the others, particularly Archie and Roo, as they engage in their heated discussion.
"I think we are all pretty spent, this place was far larger than I for one anticipated. But we made it through alive. Assuming of course this is the last of it", he interjects. "And more than that, from our first encounters together to this one, I think we are improving as a team. We have a lot to report back, so let's strip this place of anything valuable, and get topside before I get used to the smell down here".
With that he too follows Mortlock and takes a look around, using his spectral hand to move rats out the way if necessary.
"Well, there seem to be no traps or even locks on these crates", Corlith says, and lifts the lid on the closest one with his spectral hand whilst standing a little way back just in case.
Archie taps her visor and creates the scrawled image of a single incredulous raised eyebrow upon her face as Roo speaks, "when you picked me up I at least had the decency to stay back and support, I'll be honoured next time to leave your ass on the floor and focus on helping the others instead, shall I? My point still stands, you had to be to the one to help out Wilf because you apparently couldn't wait for anyone else to back him up. But anyway, your lack of trust aside, I've got things to concentrate on... WILF! I'll be there with the magic eyes in a second." With that Archie begins ritual casting detect magic and after a while her visor begins to glow with two flaming orbs, she walks over to Wilf and observes the statues and anything else in the room that seems to stick out or prove to be magical.
Reed lends a hand opening the crates. Each time he gets the look of a young child opening a Christmas present.
He nods back to the other room with the statues as he searches.
"I think those two need some time in the spa upstairs when this is done," Reed says, referring to Archie and Roo. "They need to find a way to relax. Do you think the masseuse stuck around? They seemed nice."
Archie sidles up to Wilf, and points to the southern statue "the statue of myrkul has abjuration magic on it, could be some kind of ward, or summon or something, I'm gonna go check out what the others are doing before this magical sight runs out, be careful... and talk to Roo, he's headstrong and I'm just trying to protect him." she whispers that last bit as she gives Wilf a clap on the shoulder, before leaving to join the others in the opening of the crates.
Corlith opens the crates with Reed's help and finds.. less than they thought they would. Six out of the nine crates are actually empty, except for packing straw. But as they open the others, they find the stolen goods that the cultists have not yet disbursed.
Reed now looks like a slightly disappointed child after opening their presents on Christmas morning, but he soon makes the best of it.
"These look very promising," Reed says while picking up the flasks of alchemist's fire. "Nothing covers an exit like burning the place to the ground. Any one mind if I hang on to these?"
He then fishes the healing potions out and looks back into the other room.
"Those three are going to need these," Reed suggests. "Whether it's from fighting among themselves or the next bad cultie we find. Especially Roo."
Reed then gets up and heads back to the room with the "island".
"You said there was more treasure this way, right Mort?" Reed says as he goes.
Once there, he looks for the side room that Mort mentioned and takes a look inside.
Mortlock shrugs and follows Reed to the "Island" room, but as the halfling pauses, the big man walks past him to the South set of stairs and up those out of the water again.
Climbing this short flight of stairs, the two of them enter a circular chamber with four padlocked wooden chests piled in the middle of it. Mortlock hangs back at the entrance of the room.
Typically, Roo is a jerking, moving ball of activity, even when giving his attention to someone. His head always cocking side to side. Beak always preening feathers. Feathers ruffling. Feathers fluffing. The constant, non-stop puffing up and relaxing.
But when Archie speaks to him about honor again...Roo doesn't do anything. He stands there stark still with that unblinking way of his and stares for a few seconds. He considers pointing out that pretty much all day he and his people were just chickens and he doesn't understand her sudden give-a-shit attitude...but instead he just keeps quiet and stares.
"Then don't volunteer yourself to do shit you don't have to do." Is all he says before he goes back to examining the room, then goes to Reed as he hauls the equipment out of the crate.
"Reed," He says, his previous discussion already behind him. "Mind if I get one of those potions? Buuuucckk-buuuuh. Maybe a pair of manacles? Go ahead and take the alchemist fire. Bagop. I wouldn't touch it."
He shivers at the thought.
He slowly skirts the room from Glory of Morning's back, and then follows Reed and Mortlock, though he's not after the same things they are. He's searching, examining the interior of the dungeon, looking for graffiti or discarded information, becoming desperate for an answer. A clue. Anything.
Roo Investigates the inside of the dungeon for information of any kind... 17

Wilfred nods as Archie describes the magic. "Mmhhhhmmm, mhmm mhmm. Yea, of coarse. Myrkul... Abjuration....Yea.... So many damn names to remember. That statue didn't have anything anyways." Wilfred will move to the central statue to take a look at the gauntlet, spear and helmet. If they are removable, he'll take them. Then he will move to the north statue and see if the dagger is real.
