As Fionn approaches the downed horses an arrow flies from the southern rise and lands in the ground near the half-elf's feet. A cry emerges following the arrow that is just audible to you all. "You meant to kill him ijit! Stupid goblin! AAAAttttaaaack!"
Two goblins have stood up and their heads are now visible at the top of the southern rise. At the call to arms, there is the sound of movement from the brush on the northern ridge also but no obvious targets appear. Fionn is ~30ft from the dead horses, everyone else is 120ft away from them with the cart.
@Truffle - You're first to act. The goblins will then have a turn, and then everyone will be able to act (Truffle on her second round, Fionn and Gilroy on their first)

How far away are the goblins?
If they are too far away for melee then Truffle pulls out her longbow and shoots at the goblin that was yelling.

I don't know how you want me to put this so I just put everything (I think) also I didn't change the roll I just edited this to add the 1d20 if the roll changes, the orignal damage was 10.
I think there might be a problem with my dice roller but I'm not complaining lmao. Okay from now onwards I'm not editing posts with rolls in them anymore :0.

OoC - The goblins are 15ft up an incline (difficult terrain going up) on either side of the road, so about 150ft of movement, or 120ft for a ranged attack from the cart.
When making your attack or a skill check, you can either:
use the 'attack' option in the dice roller on the forum posts
manually enter the [ roll]1d20+x[/roll] to hit and the appropriate damage roll
use your character sheet and then reference the roll from the game log
Even with the additional cover of the incline, Truffle's arrow soars true and strikes her target through the throat. He fall down dead with the arrow shaft protruding from both sides of it's neck. The other goblins falter slightly, their erstwhile leader having been so quickly dispatched.
The first goblin (B) from the hill changes his target, firing an arrow back at Truffle, jarred by the attack his aim is still good: To hit: 16 <Hit> | Damage: 5 piercing.
Two goblins from the north side run down towards Fionn, charging down the hill. Both still cowed, but too late to stop, the first one (C) reaches Fionn and takes a swing with it's rusted and notched blade: To Hit: 10 <Miss> | Damage: -
The final goblin (D) also runs at Fionn, slashing at his as it keeps running, ending it's charge hiding behind the horses, trying to hide from sight: To Hit: 13 <hit> | Damage: 6 Stealth:13 (To attack the creature from range you must roll a perception check and beat this number)
Fionn is eligible for an attack of opportunity as the goblin darts away.

"Goblins!" Gilroy cried out. "Fionn!" The half-elf had walked right into a trap. Gilroy noted that his companion in the cart wasted little time, snatching up a bow and notching an arrow, immediately loosing it towards the goblins on the hilltop. Gilroy did not follow her shot, his mind racing. He swiveled his head surveying the area around the wagon, making sure they were not being swarmed by little green imps.
Oh goodness, goodness me, Gilroy thought. He stood up, gauging the distance to the goblin menace.
The whistling sound of an arrow speeding through the air caused Gilroy's head to snap up, losing his focus, he tried to spot the flying dart. The goblin's shot was quick and precise. Gilroy heard a cry of pain as Truffle was hit by the arrow. His eyes grew wide. Gilroy knew she would need tending, however, Fionn was in the thick of it with two of the goblin ilk.
"Oh boy," Gilroy muttered. Still standing in the wagon, he straightened his coat sleeves. He then pointed a finger towards the goblin(B) who had taken a shot at their wagon. Sweat poured down the sides of his face. He began uttering a spell under his breath, chanting into the air around him, focusing all his attention on his target. Immediately a dart of flame leapt from his finger in an arc towards the hilltop.
He would not look to see if the spell had the intended affect. He immediately turned to Truffle, checking on her well-being. "Are you okay?" he asked, kneeling beside her.
Spell to Hit 1D20+4: 15 Damage Roll if it Hits 1D10: 5
Fire Bolt Spell Card You hurl a mote of fire at a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 fire damage. A flammable object hit by this spell ignites if it isn't being worn or carried.
Not sure what I’m capable of doing but as always my first inclination is to attack depending on how close everybody is how are use my range weapon if there for another way or my sword if they’re close by
