In your quick, pre-rest perimeter sweep, you notice that there are patches of plants near your campsite that seem to have been removed, not eaten per say, but seemly harvested down nearly to the ground. You're not sure what sorts of plants are missing, as mostly stems remain if anything, and other than somewhat trampled grasses nearby, there doesn't seem to be much sign of what was here before you were.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
Your watch is about as dull and boring as can be. The pattering drizzle of the rain combined with the sound of the nearby river create something of a lulling white noise that you have to consciously keep from causing you to doze off. At some point during your watch, a fatish pigeon flutters to rest on a branch of a nearby tree. Nearing the end of your watch, you give your elven friend a poke, hoping that soon you'll be unconscious.....the best way shortcut existing in this damp excuse for a mountain.
Peren will get up and make a quick walk around the camp to check the perimeter and then find a high spot to watch while his friends get some much needed sleep.
For the most part, the first half of your watch goes without incident. The storm seems to abate slightly, though it is replaced by a strong wind that whips through the trees at uneven intervals. Above you, a fatty pigeon coos on a branch, disturbed by the sudden wind, but then settles back to sleep. You yourself are just finishing up a quick round of the clearing's perimeter when you hear a strange sound. BZZZOOOOOOOM. BZZZOOOOOOOM. The odd noise echoes down through the hilly valley from higher up. Unsure, you wait for several minutes to see if it happens again. BZZZOOOOOOM. The audible oddity resounds once more before dying out and being replaced by more normal night sounds once more.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
Whether or not Peren shares his watch experiences with you, your own watch is pretty uneventful overall. As the bleak sky begins to brighten, Mub stirs from his awkward sleep and begins shuffling around camp, seemly preparing some morning meal of fish and berries from a stashed pouch. From the look of things, you've got probably a good half a day of exploring ahead of you before the rains resume.
For the party:
You awaken to the smell of fish smoking over a low fire. The morning air is damp, but not uncomfortably humid, likely thanks to the increased elevation. Mub appears to be smashing some hers and berries together in a bowl-shaped rock by the fire while Gavin is in the midst of stowing some random gear. While it's not raining currently, your not entirely sure how much longer you'll have before the weather turns foul once more, but for the moment, you count your blessing that you are only passably soggy and that there seems to be breakfast. Up in a nearby tree, a fat looking pigeon coos softly.
Gavin thanks Mub for breakfast as he loves a hot meal to start the day. “I would actually like to explore up here a little more Mirabel. Curious to see if these other stories of beasts up here are as true as flying fish.”
Scanning the area from your higher vantage point, you see patchwork of game-trails and the like that crisscross the mountain. Further up, and probably a good half-day's hike for your more terrestrial friends, you see what looks like a waterfall near a rocky outcropping that seems to be freshly revealed do to some nearby mudslides. As you circle around for a bit, you are joined by your pudgy pigeon friend, which coos a greeting at you.
As if a long lost light goes on Mubs face burns with a beaky smile.
He goes to the ground so he may play and feed his diabetic pet letting the little guy have some more seed for the day before putting it away and look for his way back.
Ones he is with ever one he show that his pet is back two or three time be for points to the way that will take us to the roaring water.
Kathra wakes up with the scent of fish in her nose and is absolutely delighted by this development. When Mub returns, she waves her thanks and is also (secretly) delighted to see the fat pigeon again. "Hello Mub. I see your friend's come back. You find something further up?"
Gavin will take 3rd
So noted. Kathra needs to make a Perception check for her watch.
EDIT: Also, if you guys are doing anything in particular in relation to your camp or with any items or whatever, just let me know.
Other than just doing the perimeter sweep before it gets dark making sure we aren’t camping next door to anything dangerous, nothing from me

Kathra settles in for the first watch, and elects to walk the perimeter of the camp a few times before settling in to watch and listen.

“Looks like something large was grazing here recently” I tell the group after my perimeter check

Dragons love fish, and Dragonborn love fish just as much.
Mirabel is wide awake and begins eating, muttering his thanks to Mub through a mouthful of fish.
"Well! Shall we head back to the tower to let the dwarves know they have a weird fish problem?"
Gavin thanks Mub for breakfast as he loves a hot meal to start the day. “I would actually like to explore up here a little more Mirabel. Curious to see if these other stories of beasts up here are as true as flying fish.”
Looks like Mub will fly up and take a look if there is a fast path up the mountain.

Peren will share that he heard a strange buzzing sound last night with the goup
